Samuel was told some daunting things from the Lord. He was uneasy, to say the least, in sharing the vision with Eli.. But He was called to share it with Eli.

On that day I will fulfill against Eli all that I have spoken concerning his house, from beginning to end. So Samuel told him everything and hid nothing from him. And he said, "It is the Lord . Let him do what seems good to him."
1 Samuel 3:12‭, ‬18 ESV

So many take aways in these verses, dontcha think?

Oh to rest in Spirit, waiting on His revealing, trusting His will for our lives, regardless how dreadful it may appear to our limited scope. May our ears tingle as servents ready to hear, willing to trust His knowing that which is good.

Could this mean He appeared to him?
I belive it is in Job where it is written "the Lord speaks first one way, then another, though you don't perceive it" I think 33-14, indicating he is encountering us all the time, it is when we begin to perceive Him that we can progress.

Oh how wonderful it is to reflect on our lives and see His awesomeness! He has walked and held me thru soooooooooooooo very much in my lifetime! I would never have known how wonderful it is to trust Him if my life had been all easy! I can NEVER thank Him enough nor show how very much I love Him!
