Love is a difficult thing, because it comes from our hearts, and almost cannot be commanded, rather
we need to give is space to grow and be.
I remember when I realised I loved my parents despite their failures and sins, it was unmerited love,
which was given to their role in my existence, rather than as a judgement on their handling of my life.
When I came to see God is my true Father, whose gave stewardship to my father for my care.
So confused was he, he found it hard to express his love for his own children. It was layers of
shyness and fear, so he never really knew himself.
So many think Jesus plants love, except now I believe He allows that which we are to grow and
develop as He intended from the beginning of our creation. So addictive is this love in a child, young
women will get pregnant to feel this purpose and role, because it roots and grounds them when so
much is missing from their own families.
And here is the central issue. So many with disturbed families and backgrounds find it impossible
to let Jesus heal and open up their hearts, so we get these crazy theological disputes which come all
the way back to acceptance and rejection of the love that dwells within us, yet even though some know
of Jesus, He is still distant from their hearts and love truly flowing. God bless you.
