Why I now believe that salvation can be lost.

In staying in Jesus, love and the cross, we cannot lose our salvation.
The above language reminds me of an OCD person, who if they see something in the street
must pick it up, and cannot stop themselves from doing this until every bit of litter is removed.
So the idea that we could walk away from love possess them to the extent they must have already
done this and so feel lost an condemned.
This is a disorder, nothing to do with faith, love and following Jesus. Thankfully knowing love and
Jesus we know choice and responsibility and the consequences of our actions, Praise the Lord, and
most of all the forgiveness of the cross when we fail, but more the power of the cross to show love
and charity to others, Amen.
So believers will automatically be able to reject the mark? They won't have a choice to accept it, and even if they want to do it, something inside them will override that decision?
Your mockery of the word of God is going to cost you one day soon!!I guess since you know how to quote Rev 14, it will be better to lead someone to put their faith in Jesus, and then take a gun and kill him as soon as you can so that he will never be tempted to take the mark?

Faith Without Works Is Dead

Faith with works must show Christs work in their hearts through works because this is the consequence
of that work which simply cannot be denied, like a light on a hill, it burns brightly so that all around

Sadly there are people who earn their salvation, while others know to walk in Jesus's ways is
part of being saved and believing in Him
And James is saying exactly this, faith with works is faith in Jesus.
They are not losers brother. Just mixed up in their thinking. Some have been truly saved, yet haven't had the revelation yet of just exactly who they are NOW. Which are His Children.
They are also confused that their Father loves them. And NOTHING can separate them from His Love!

I didn't suggest we must list ours sins. i do maintain we must come to Him frequently...me 2 x daily...at least, and ask forgiveness of sins.
We cannot go to prayer to much. Remember the Bible says...."pray without easing". ......symbolic of...pray much.

Yes we can loose our ...born again status...while on this earth. The Bible says so. Once we die and G-d says we are...saved...then we are permanently saved and no one can take that away.
Can you still be saved according to OSAS, even when you follow another Gospel?
I came to God 7 years ago. I believed in the death, burial and resurrection of Christ. I said sorry "change of mind" for my sins. I believed in the imputed Righteousness of Christ, thought I was forgiven for my past present and future sins, had a relationship with Jesus.
When I came to Jesus on ______ lost the actual date, I was sealed with the holy spirit (A seal that cant be reversed).
I lived a lifestyle of ungodliness after I was saved, was I saved?
*Some on here tell me I wasnt saved(never saved to begin with).
But you then tell me I was sealed (A seal that cant be broken).
Why wasnt the holy spirit, doing the work in me for over 3 years?
Why did I bear absolutely no fruit with the holy spirit in me?
Am I still saved will following another Gospel?
You tell me I am sealed by the holy spirit (nothing can break that seal I received 7 years ago on that special day I came to jesus.
So am I saved still, even though I follow another Gospel now?.
Do you believe in Jesus Christ today? If so, you are saved!
If you do not believe in Jesus Christ today you are not saved.

Hi Penn , that is how I was when I thought I could lose my Salvation , I lived in fear...
I was not living in the Eternal Security that God had given me through our LORD , I was living in fear , fearing every wrong move or thought...
It was not until I had been saved about a year or so that I came to CC , and my brothers & sisters also showed me through their constant ferm stance that my security lies in what Jesus has done , and not what I can do...
After that the Holy Spirit of God really opened up the Scriptures for me , and then I found I could read without fear , replaced with love and sound mind...
The devil uses our mind as a playground , telling us we are not worthy , but Jesus tells us no one can snatch us from His hands , and our heavenly Father has His hands wrapped around His Sons , nothing can separate us from the double hands that keep us in Gods safety...
