I use the word supernatural because it is above this realm. It's not natural. Again, the natural man will not understand the things of the Spirit.

The world has taken a simple word and made it only evil.

Holy Spirit is here UG. The kingdom of God is within and the Spirit is a new Genesis of man. Spiritual. Light beings. The fullness of His glory is on its way.

We need to be ready to receive or we will burn. Flesh will burn. As by fire.

Well the main point is it not scriptural and we are not walking as supernatural beings, scripture does not state this either we are still confined to the laws of nature while on this planet.

Then you aren't walking in the Spirit. Living, moving, and having our being in Him.

Our connection to the spiritual world is through Holy Spirit.

If you look at the Greek meaning of the miracles that Jesus performed, it states that He superseded time, space, order, and rank. This is not natural action. Is super natural.

If we do the works of God, it will be the same. I don’t think this can be learned but can only be through agency. That being Holy Spirit.

I think your former experiences are clouding.

Not what I’m referring to. We are all redeemed if born again, true. Or possibly the world too? Might check on that.

The baptism of H.S. takes us into heavenly places.

Baptism is immersion in water to demonstrate to the body of believers our new life in Christ.
The holy spirit resides in us when we are born again.
I think this has been done and redone on this thread there is nothing more to state on it.

To rightly divide the Word of God you must be aware there are differences between "being baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus" and "receiving the Holy Spirit" (Ghost)

Also that there are differences between "in" and "upon" , along with the meanings of words translated born again, born from above, born of water, born of woman, born of God, baptized with water, etc.

Many problems arise by trying to fit a square block in a round hole.

If the very basic premise is set upon something false, all that follows will also be, so make sure you know that foundation is first a Truth of Gods.

Is it possible for all to receive all or are there specific people who receive specific gifts not available to others?
Here is one example of "the Holy Spirit not yet having been upon some who had been baptized"

Acts 8:14 Now when the apostles which were at Jerusalem heard that Samaria had received the word of God, they sent unto them Peter and John:
Acts 8:15 Who, when they were come down, prayed for them, that they might receive the Holy Ghost:

Acts 8:16 (For as yet he was fallen upon none of them: only they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.)
Acts 8:17 Then laid they their hands on them, and they received the Holy Spirit (Ghost)

Acts 8:18 And when Simon saw that through laying on of the apostles' hands the Holy Ghost was given, he offered them money,
Acts 8:19 Saying, Give me also this power, that on whomsoever I lay hands , he may receive the Holy Spirit (Ghost)

Acts 8:20 But Peter said unto him, Thy money perish with thee, because thou hast thought that the gift of God may be purchased with money.
Acts 8:21 Thou hast neither part nor lot in this matter: for thy heart is not right in the sight of God.
Acts 8:22 Repent therefore of this thy wickedness, and pray God, if perhaps the thought of thine heart may be forgiven thee.


And was this for ALL or was this for some?
Acts 11:16 Then remembered I the word of the Lord, how that he said, John indeed baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost.

Ones testimony is their Jordan.
They dont wonder about it. It becomes who they are.
Yes many have died and come back.

...Show 1 incident in the bible where a man died lost, went to or woke up in hell and returned.....and before you blather on about Jesus the word is grave and he obviously was NOT IN HELL....

Slow down, sister … God is not bound to a strict legalistic formula like in the OT
the NT is about grace and truth and works differently

In 1966 when I was 11 years young I was sitting alone in our lounge room reading comics, while the rest of the family were outside,
and all of a sudden I started speaking in tongues. I had to stand up and allow this experience to flow through me for a good 5 minutes.
Thirty years later when I was in a Pentecostal fellowship and after being water baptised I again spoke in tongues (as I was praying to
receive the Holy Spirit) and did indeed "receive" the Holy Spirit with understanding of what was happening.

I was witnessing to a young male (about 20) and talking to him about salvation through the Holy Spirit with the Bible evidence
of speaking in tongues. Bob and I laid hands on him and prayed in tongues for him. This young guy then told us he recognised
our praying in tongues, and promptly started praying in tongues himself.
He went on to explain that he had been over someone's house who happened to have a swimming pool and he dived in and
when he surfaced he was speaking in this tongues - but he didn't know what it was about until now.

When street witnessing I have come across many people who can speak in tongues and have need of a Pentecostal church
where they can learn of walking in the Spirit and the gifts of the Spirit - but also to be encouraged to pray daily in the Holy Spirit.

I have no idea what goes on in a Pentecostal meeting but if what is being said can't be found in the Word of God, it is not of God. So yes, Prophecy is preaching the Bible. And Jesus warned us SPECIFICALLY against anyone who would try to tell us anything that can not be found in the Word

Mark 13:21 And then if any man shall say to you, Lo, here is Christ; or, lo, he is there; believe him not:
Mark 13:22 For false Christs and false prophets shall rise, and shall shew signs and wonders, to seduce, if it were possible, even the elect.
Mark 13:23 But take ye heed: behold, I have foretold you all things.
BEHOLD, I HAVE FORETOLD YOU ALL THINGS. Everything we need to know is in the Word right now. God made it so, so that NO MAN OR WOMAN COULD EVER CLAIM A NEW MESSAGE WAS "FROM GOD"

Supernatural is not the appropriate word, sister.

spirit is the right word for the saints
we are born of the Spirit
we become spiritual
we are can speak in a spiritual language and thus we can pray in the Holy Spirit
we learn to walk in the Spirit
we need to bear fruit of the Spirit in our testimonies
our churches ought to be blessed and to operate the nine gifts of the Holy Spirit
we can perform miracles galore by the power of the Holy Spirit working through us
we are children of our Father by the Spirit of adoption
we are taught much by the Spirit of truth
we are comforted by the Spirit that soothes our pains
we can speak bodly to strangers about salvation by the Holy Spirit

we are spiritual beings and yet in the flesh - hence we battle our carnal selves and pray much in the Spirit to deny the flesh

You have no idea nor any experience of the gift of prophecy (one of nine gifts) that is given to the Spirit-filled church to be operated
during a meeting.
The gift is God directly speaking to his church, the body of Christ, teaching us of spiritual truths about the Word, and also from time
to time of what is happening in the world and how this will effect us.
Just because you are in a church that does not operate the gifts of the Holy Spirit is no good reason to slander the work of the
Holy Spirit.
What then, brothers? When you come together, each one has a hymn, a lesson, a revelation, a tongue, or an interpretation.
Let all things be done for building up.

She argued that before with me...tried to say Adam and Eve were not created flesh, but rather some drivel about beings of light peddled by some Jewish rabbi....even though the vible is clear that Adam was made flesh when he was created......
