If God is real, why is the world so bad? I see Christians and I wonder if their God is like any other God like Buddah or an Egyptian God. I grew up around many Christians, but they really hurt me badly in a lot of experiences. I don't want to open up to them or talk about things or go to church because the Christians I know turn angry very quickly. I used to get very upset, but now I feel so used to it it's like I'm numbed to it. I don't think about God the same way at all. How is the Bible and God and Christians different than other religions is what I'm trying to say I guess?
2Ti 2:19 Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity(depart from sin by the Spirit).
2Ti 2:20 But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of earth; and some to honour, and some to dishonour(there will be hypocrites).
2Ti 2:21 If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master's use, and prepared unto every good work.
1Co 13:13 And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity(love in action).
1Co 13:2 And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing.
1Co 13:4 Charity suffereth long, and is kind(does not belittle people); charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up(not arrogant),
1Co 13:5 Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own(not selfish), is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil;
1Co 13:6 Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth(hates sin, and does not want sin, and abstains from sin by the Spirit);
1Co 13:7 Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.
1Pe 5:5 Likewise, ye younger, submit yourselves unto the elder. Yea, all of you be subject one to another, and be clothed with humility: for God resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble.
Php 2:2 Fulfil ye my joy, that ye be likeminded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind.
Php 2:3 Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves.
Rom 13:10 Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.
Charity, love in action, is greater than faith, and hope, and love does not belittle anyone, and does not exalt themselves above other people, which some may do being arrogant for living for God against the world, and some even against other saints, but God said that people that think they are holier than thou is a stench in His nostrils, and He resists the proud, but gives grace unto the humble.
There will be hypocrites, and there is no such thing as a hypocritical christian for a person cannot be a hypocrite, and a Christian at the same time, and a Christian is only someone who acts like Christ.
And Jesus said the hypocrites do not belong to Him, which if they fall short of loving people then they are a hypocrite, so only people that act like Christ can belong to the Church.
So there is no difference between Christianity and a Christian, for only people that act like Christ, a Christian, can belong to Christianity, the Church, and all the rest are hypocrites, which in a great house there is some to dishonor, so God said there would be some rascals not doing right running around claiming Christ.
But although there may be hypocrites a saint might sin if they desire to sin, but all sin can be forgiven, but it is not an excuse, so if they do err at some point, they might correct it, and repent, and not want to do it again.
So we should not count people out that act wrongly towards us for they could get rid of the behavior repenting of the errors of their ways.
It is all about their attitude concerning Christianity that determines if they are led of the Spirit or not, and only those led of the Spirit can conduct themselves properly, and they have the right attitude concerning sin, for those led of the Spirit will know it is wrong, and those not led of the Spirit will hold unto sin, and think they are alright, so their behavior might not change, or not that much, although they would of toned it down, but a little leaven leavens the whole bunch, and we must allow the Spirit to lead us to be like Christ.
And there is no excuse if we do not act like Christ, but some make an excuse.
2Ti 3:4 lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;
2Ti 3:5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.
2Ti 3:7 Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.
Not everyone that claims Christ is led of the Spirit, and they do not have the right attitude concerning Christianity, for they will hold unto sin, and enjoy sin, and think they are alright with God.
Where people with the Spirit know they cannot sin and be alright with God, and if they do sin they will repent, and get rid of it, and not hold unto it, and move forward.
So you will encounter many Christians, and there is many of them, that will enjoy the world as the world enjoys it, and will not treat people right at times like they should.
But the hypocrites, or hypocrisy that is but a short moment and corrected, do not have any bearing towards Christianity to give it a bad name, and people should not think badly of Christianity because of their wrongful behavior, for the hypocrites do not belong to the Church, and the holiness of Jesus still applies today.
And God is real, but He gave us a choice, for His kingdom is true love, and the problems on earth come from people that make wrong choices, and natural disasters get worse as the world's rebelliousness gets worse, which people will get worse as time goes on in selfishness, and arrogance, for that is the direction the world is going.
