the battle is on actually and it is between US and the devil

he even left Jesus only for a season before the crucifixion

so now everything is the bogeyman

you know, the op was about 'some truth about speaking in tongues' but we do not get very much of that
this is really not the thread to introduce every sensationalist video a person can come up with
nothing really from scripture, but just more people talking that someone agrees with so hold everything you are doing and immediately watch the video
not gonna happen
I learned about false moves a long time ago and these cessationist alarm bells ringing are one of those false moves
what we need is proper teaching from SCRIPTURE and people who actually KNOW what they are talking about
IMO this backlash is just as virulent and emotional on the part of cessationists as what those who believe the teaching in scripture are accused of...with less truth and authority
I have no problem with presenting something from another site or a video that speaks to the op, but that is not what we have here

Sonship is just manifesting Jesus to the world. Becoming who and what we are here rather than waiting for a rapture to take us to heaven.
It’s lying spirits that we battle with mostly. That’s why the not by works thread is so important and decontroversal is doing a great job standing. Our human nature wants to do something rather than rest upon another’s work. It’s how we roll until the new birth. There’s the change or the exchange of His nature (work of the cross) for our fallen nature. Death literally to resurrection life. Faith is always the door to the things of God.
Flying Dove had a great post on the feasts and how they represent the stages of the life in the anointed Son Jesus. I’ve posted it many times too but her post is much deeper.
Passover, the blood on the door, escape from eternal death into life in the promised land.
Pentecost, the overcoming Holy Spirit within our spirit taking us through the land,taking down the enemy.
Tabernacles, the fullness of His Spirit, our solid walk manifesting God in our life.
Then John speaks of it in one of his writings. The child, the young man, and the father.
Those are my thoughts by the way, not hers.

So the whole movie you have to buy, but here is a good chunk of the movie, that gives the TRUE Gospel and not this EXPERIENCE as an Idol, and desire for power, health and wealth gospel. People who have been slapping "in Jesus name.." after every earthly desire, like rubbing a magic lamp, need to watch. Praying God will deliver those caught up in erecting SELF, and EXPERIENCE as an idol, doing it in Jesus Name of course!

IMO, the OT is very much a physical picture of the present spiritual one...but that is hardly an original thought on my part I guess

Literal gifts can be seen. I have not received my reward of a new incorruptible body as of yet.
Why would a person put themselves under the oral tradition of self-edification rather than walking by faith the unseen ?
The same below (they have their reward) could apply to the misconception of tongues as a sign . What does it confirm other than for all that God has done prophesying they believe not (no faith) having it in respect to something they can do outwardly to edify their own self?
I would stay far away hiding the word of God in my newly created heart...remembering, he must increase We edify him not our own selves.
