I get to keep my hands and eyes
Hooray
I think my hands are beautiful, and so are my eyes
Or, beauty from appreciation

thank you, that it's symbolic
and what does Hebrews 6:4-6 mean?
I get to keep my hands and eyes
Hooray

Or, beauty from appreciation
I hate gouging my eyes
I hate chopping off my hands
Therefore, it is impossible to love God and obey Matthew 5 at the same time
Therefore it is impossible to love God at all times
But the Bible says, many are called, few are chosen
In that few exist, so how can that be?
How can there be few instead of "none"?
If every fiber of our being cause us to sin, ... For the wages of sin is death
And Jeremiah 17:9 - our heart is desperately wicked
And Ephesians says that we are dead in trespasses and sin, therefore life is impossible
Free are chosen, few are more than none, so how is that possible?
Lordship, Lord Lord obey, acknowledge him in all thy waysAre you really telling me that you were not able to discern the hyperbole?
I don't know what is wrong with me, or why I run into big mistakesin my Bible readingThis is just being obtuse. If Jesus did not mean us to remove body parts what is He saying?

you see, the issue with this statement is this- no salvation is mentioned.
I think this is where f.h.s ( peterjens ) gets things crossed up.
a person is forgiven, justified and SAVED the moment they truly believe. the person remains so as long as they truly believe.
the regeneration is NOT simultaneous for all people. it is different for all people
a person comes to Christ with a addiction. they never use the things again.
a person comes to Christ with an addiction . they struggle for years to break it.
is one more " saved " than the other?
this is why religious people HATE salvation by Christ alone, because it levels the playing field.
if we are all saved by the same thing, then we cannot try to pump ourselves up and put others down.
This is just being obtuse. If Jesus did not mean us to remove body parts what is He saying?
Justification, regeneration, and adoption are all aspects of salvation. The other two are sanctification and glorification, which are dealt with later in the treatise. But to say that salvation is not mentioned doesn't take into account that a person who is justified, regenerated, and adopted are SURELY saved.
Justification is an essential part of salvation. Salvation is regenerated, justified, adopted, positionally sanctified, progressively sanctified, preserved, final sanctification (at the Parousia of Jesus) and glorification with Him. All of these things are included in salvation.
I think you misunderstand regeneration. Regeneration is the same as the New Birth. There is no such thing as a Christian who has not been regenerated, (other than nominal "in name only" Christians)
No. And neither is one more regenerated that the other. They are both regenerate. There are different levels of sanctification, but not different levels of regeneration, justification, or adoption. With these three, it is only either you are or you aren't.
The Church of Nazarene believes in salvation by grace through faith alone, all of it, including justification and sanctification.
I see what you are saying.
as long as we can agree that sanctification looks different for every individual..
Should we be thankful that we are not Omniscient?@Magenta what would be the future of cc if I notice threads or things that I would pretend to not notice?
There's a part of me that want once fallen tagged there

it's possible that I'm blind to this hatred thinking that I don't have hatred even though I do have hatredI can never know the amount of hate I have for God
