What would that person look or act like? Maybe you can give us a character from a book or movie or a celebrity so that we could know. This is a silly fun thread. So have fun! :p

My mom recently saw Michael Buble on the news. He's a singer and actor. She said "LM, I like that man for you!" I told her "Mom, that's Michael Buble and he's married!" She then replied "well you could find someone like him..." lol Oh Mom!

Other things...
A man who doesn't like anime (mom thinks all of that is evil lol)
A man who loves Jesus and goes to church every Sunday
A man who is taller than me (mom really likes tall men)
Non smoker, non drinker, and Republican :p
A man who loves his momma

So...think of the man/woman that your mom would pick for you and post it here. If you don't have a mother think about your dad and his pick. If you don't have parents, think of the next person closest to you and who they would pick. I look forward to seeing ya'll's answers.

Remember this is not what you want. This is what your mom would want. Although a guy who looks like Michael Buble wouldn't be so bad.:p

I wanted to add but I ran out of time...
It's funny to me because mom doesn't know anything about the singer above. But she was already saying that she liked him for me. I think she just likes the way he looks.
I also think she thinks I'm much prettier than I am. She doesn't realize her daughter is average looking at best. ;)
There was a time when she wanted me to get with Tim Tebow because we're both virgins. Yay!

In our culture, a mother would choose a future son in law who would do some acts of service or chivalry, to prove their sincerity, like wash the dishes, cut some wood, cook or bring some good food, etc.

What average? I've seen your pic before. You look fabulous like most latina girls.

Beats me. My mother is intelligent, funny and nice. She'd probably pick one better than I could.

Well my mom picked pretty good for herself, I think she could do right by me. I'd just remind her to do her due diligence and not pick quickly because some people are really good liars or have really good public faces.

Oh. My mom pushed me towards every half good looking chick we came across. She even set me up on a date with a coworkers daughter when I was 14. We had nothing in common other than neither wanting to be there.
Or a time we were shopping when I was a teen and the cashier seemed to get extra shy around me, and my mom was asking why I didn't ask her out.
Even at 4 years old I remember she had a friend with kids. We'd go over there to visit and I'd play with the other kids, one was a girl close to my age. My mom would always say "we're going to visit your girlfriend today". As a 4 year old that didn't want cooties, I was not amused hahaha.
Not to mention if I Did express an interest in someone.... *shakes head

I think mum would pick the "perfect" guy for me (loves the Lord, is family oriented, funny, motivated etc.), BUT I think she would leave out something I've realized I need or would like and that's someone that challenges me.

I think from her experiences, she wishes for all of her daughters, that we'd have an agreeable husband, which isn't horrible, but that doesn't quite meet the mark.

She truly is wonderful and would pick out of love. He probably would be a pretty great guy.

If the ignore feature is a girl, can I marry her?

She is a good house keeper

Cleans up the thread nicely, and she is easy on my eyes, and when I see all else, I can see everything with rose colored glasses, when her soft hands cover my eyes my face loves it

She protects my eyes and only allow me the freedom see what was ignored and she will never accuse me of anything

She is very understanding to me

And very diplomatic, as she is a peacemaker

And I cannot find a wife as loyal as her

And I am free to touch the ignore feature anytime I want, and she fully consents

If my mum were still alive she would do a much better job than I would at picking a future spouse. She would overlook all the emotion and look at the facts.
