For salvation....100% faith.
Once you are saved and want to serve the Lord in a pleasing way it's probably about 50/50. "Faith without works is dead". So God wants you to serve him and to love your neighbors and love and serve your fellow mankind. The world will never see your candle if you lock yourself up in your house and hang on to your salvation faith and never do anything.
It doesn't have anything to do with salvation but once you are saved God doesn't want you to hold up in your house and wait for the end. He wants to you get out and live God's word and let your light shine and serve. You'll be "walking by faith" and that faith will result in works of love.

Before a person gets reborn do they need to believe only In the word of GOD or do they need to do works along with believing for salvation?
After salvation they will renew their minds because they are a new creation and they have a desire now to purify their minds to be like the new person they have become.
So then when you say 50/50 IMO you are saying salvation Is by grace from GOD through faith alone and then we work presenting our bodies a living sacrifice not conforming to the worlds ways but transforming by renewing our minds which Is the other side of coin so to speak or the 50/50 you talked about.
These works do not save, they follow, so they have nothing to do with regeneration, justification, adoption, or initial sanctification. But they have A LOT to do with the Grace that saves. (see Titus 2:11-15)
yes IMO repentance Is a one time thing and then renewing the mind Is an ongoing process.
"For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved."
Believe with your heart, confess with your mouth.
The thief being crucified for crimes next to Jesus did nothing but say "“Do you not fear God, since you are under the same sentence of condemnation? And we indeed justly, for we are receiving the due reward of our deeds; but this man has done nothing wrong.” And he said, “Jesus, remember me when you come into your kingdom.”
Jesus response to this was: "And he said to him, Truly, I say to you, today you will be with me in paradise.”

Repentance unto life is a one time thing (Acts 11:18). With this I agree. But Christians can and do repent after they are saved. (2 Corinthians 7:9)
Yes,In this context IMO repenting and renewing are the same.
Christians DO repent to GOD when they are In the process of renewing their minds to match their perfect spirits.

1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.
2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
This is a question, not a challenge.
2 Corinthians 7:1 says to "Cleanse ourselves from filthiness of flesh and spirit". Are you using spirit in a different way than Paul is using it. Again, it is a question, not a challenge. I would say the perfect Spirit is the Spirit of Christ, the Holy Spirit in us. We are conforming to more closely match Him, though we do not attain that perfection in this life
To cleanse In Spirit just means to say yes be obedient to faith or believe In GOD and after being obedient to faith GOD saves us and then we continue In our bodies the process of continued sanctification.

Sins (filthiness) of flesh would be sins of the body, fornication, sexual immorality, drunkenness, drug abuse, sensuality, etc. .
Sins (filthiness) of the spirit would be anger, wrath, malice, pride, unforgiveness, vanity, etc.
Neither our bodies nor spirits are perfected yet, but the Holy Spirit in us is perfect.
The Spirit Is made perfect and sealed positionaly sanctified but our bodies although purchased by HIS blood has not been redeemed as of yet and will be redeemed when JESUS comes back and Paul wrote:I would agree. The Corinthians were quite a carnal crew, yet Paul called them saints (implying they were saved).

These sins are from the mind and would also fall under the category of sins of the flesh.
