well, thank God for Paul's writings, and Johns, so eloquently written down for all of us,
Paul 'over-came' and WON his 'race', as he says,
11TIM. 4:7-8.
I have fought a good fight-(battle/struggle), I have finished my course, I have KEPT the Faith:
Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which The Lord, The Righteous Judge,
shall give me at THAT day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love His appearing.
REV. 2:7... very plainly tells us, 'That he that 'OVER-COMES' will:
To him will I give to eat of The Tree of Life -
shall not be hurt of the second death -
he that overcomes, and keeps My works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations: -
I will give him The Morning Star -
the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of The Book of Life,
but I will confess his name before My Father, and before his angels. -
21:7.
He that overcomes shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be My son.
REV. 2:5.
Remember therefore from whence (where-condition) you art fallen, and repent, and do the first works (acts-deeds); or else
I will come unto you quickly, and will remove (cause to go) your candlestick out of his place, except you repent. -
(change one's mind for the better - heartily to amend with abhorrence of one's past sins.)
