^ And speaking of the Book we call John, there's what we see written in
John 20:27-31 [blb] -
27 Then He says to Thomas, “Bring your finger here, and see My hands; and bring your hand, and put
it into My side; and be not unbelieving, but believing.”
28 Thomas answered and said to Him, “My Lord and my God!”
29 Jesus says to him, “Because you have seen Me,
you have believed [perfect indicative active] ; blessed
are those not having seen, yet
having believed [aorist participle active].”
The Purpose of John's Book
30 So indeed Jesus also did many other signs in the presence of His disciples, which are not written in this book.
31 But these have been written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing,
you may have life in His name.
