Well maybe you still have a better say than what THE SPIRIT CLEARLY SAYS?
The people who will abandon the FAITH must first have FAITH before it could be said that they WILL ABANDON THE FAITH.
We receive the Spirit through FAITH.

If you will be one of those who decided to abandon the FAITH and follow the deceiving spirits and things taught by demons, will the Holy Spirit remain in you?

The text says "some shall depart from THE FAITH" ("the faith" always refers to "that body of truth" as given in the NT [see also Hebrews 9:16-17])… not "depart from faith"...

What a conundrum....
A true friend is hard to find.....they loved each other as brothers...will give you an example...My best friend was named Andy....known him since age 11 and we done a lot of things together until we moved apart....a few years back he got cancer and we had not really seen each other in years so I went to see him a day before he died....I walked in and it was he and I and his wife, daughters and a few women from the church he preached at......He said, David my friend.....and I lost it and we both started bawling.....we hugged and I told him I loved him......was the saddest day.....when I left the sun was setting and I knew I would not see him again until heaven......A special, brotherly love for my friend and brother.....David had this toward Johathan...........I have dreamed about him 4 times...all 4 tkmes he came to say hi, but could not stay.....
I think our “works”, (the desire to do good) is an outward result and manifestation of our salvation.
But I don’t believe that we do anything thinking that it’s by the things/works that we do that we are justified.
