1 Corinthians 11:27 So then, whoever eats the bread or drinks the cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner will be guilty of sinning against the body and blood of the Lord. 28 Everyone ought to examine themselves before they eat of the bread and drink from the cup. 29 For those who eat and drink without discerning the body of Christ eat and drink judgment on themselves. 30 That is why many among you are weak and sick, and a number of you have fallen asleep. 31 But if we were more discerning with regard to ourselves, we would not come under such judgment. 32 Nevertheless, when we are judged in this way by the Lord, we are being disciplined so that we will not be finally condemned with the world.

I think the actions that we rest from is our own human nature. And we rise in Spirit.
It may take a lifetime to run the race of faith to the finish line, maturity, perfect.

Obedience is to believe Gods Voice! Not the serpents voice, nor the voice of our own humanity.

Seeing the revelation of the benefits of our salvation. People die if no faith of being healed.

Who are CLAIMING that they who BELIEVE in Christ and are SAVED, are the ones who truly OBEY?
Why do they attack those who OBEY Christ's command to teach OBEDIENCE to his commands instead of teaching OBEDIENCE to His commands as the verses CLEARLY state?
It's because they do not really BELIEVE Christ who spoke those words and their defiance proves it. They would rather BELIEVE and OBEY FALSE MAN MADE DOCTRINES....for they loved praise from men more than praise from God. John 12:42-43

If yes then would you labor or WORK for the benefit of those who would believe and be saved?
"If no one would labor or work anymore for their benefit then maybe the right number of the Gentiles have already got in...if not, then there are a lot of job openings in the kingdom needing workers to fill out the vacant positions.
Never can any man work for his own salvation...it is the work of God and we are His fellow workers. (1 Corinthians 3:9 & 2 Corinthians 6:1)

Disobedience to God is wickedness. So we MUST turn away from DISOBEDIENCE to God and WALK in obedience to His commands.

A Rebellious Nation

New Moon, Sabbaths and convocations—

There was no sacrifice for adultery and murder, David would have brought.
David is an example of how we have to repent of our sins.
Notice that David says he give offering that God would delight in after he is forgiven and washed clean.
In case you don't understand that God commanded animal sacrifices, read this scripture:
Ezekiel 44: 15“ ‘But the Levitical priests, who are descendants of Zadok and who guarded my sanctuary when the Israelites went astray from me, are to come near to minister before me; they are to stand before me to offer sacrifices of fat and blood, declares the Sovereign Lord. 16They alone are to enter my sanctuary; they alone are to come near my table to minister before me and serve me as guards.
In case you still don't get it that God liked sacrifices from people whose heart were right, read these scriptures:
Psalm 20:3 May He remember all your gifts and look favorably on your burnt offerings. Selah
Psalm 66:13 I will enter Your house with burnt offerings; I will fulfill my vows to you--
Psalm 66:15 I will offer You fatlings as burnt offerings, with the fragrant smoke of rams; I will offer bulls and goats. Selah
So after all these scriptures, you should be able to understand that the filthy rag scripture about their righteous acts were because they were sinners who were not sorry for their sins.
You said the blood is from an animal and I told you are mistaken because the Hebrew tells you something else. How is this relevant? Without the Hebrew the Bible is open for interpretation. If you include the Hebrew it is not.
I am not disputing sacrifices, I am telling you for that verse you had the source of the blood wrong. You also said we do not have to study the Hebrew and the point I was trying to make was that if you understood the Hebrew you would have known you are making a mistake. The Hebrew (just like the English) is still relevant to us today.
