Karaite Jews believe that rabbis were not given the right to add to scripture so they do not believe in the Midrash or Talmud. They do believe all of the OT. It seems to me that Christ and Paul were Karaite Jews.

Do you think these Jews can keep all their Jewishness and also be a Christian?

If they believed all the OT, then they'd believe in Jesus. That's what counts.

Nor am I, EG! Nor am I! :)

What I am saying is the "law of love", in regards to keeping ones' election assured?
Won't cut the mustard!
Then? I went on to point out "problems" obeying the "law of love" ONLY, causes within "churches of stone."
And, it's like I'm talking over yer head!
I can't MAKE you understands it. I can try and persuade you, with logical arguments. But, even that goes "past yer eyes." Like "milk." :p

However? The "law of love" doesn't hurt, AT ALL! Is just that it don't HELP as much as you and others would like to think it does. Without ALL the "fruit of the Spirit", "brought to bare?" The "law of love", CRIPPLES churches of stone, and furthermore? Gives "traditions of man" a "free reign" INSIDE these churches of stone! I don't think I needs explain what traditions of man does to the Word of God, do I?

For what it's worth? As one "matures" in the Spirit? One cannot help recognizing the "tenets" of Calvinism, in passing. ;)

God's "law of love", keeps ones' election assured. he is our confidence our blessed assurance. .

Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ: Philippians 1:6

The law of love as to its first fruits that works in the object of love(others) , is love is long suffering. If not the second fruit of love, love is kind would be made void. Then the crippling would take hold. God love that works in us is kind it does not envy like those who suffer not. It does not boast by puffing oneself up as easily provoked, it agrees not with wrong doing but lifts our hearts in joyous praise when hear his voice and harden not our hearts speak ng the truth in love . .

Only God without fail works all the fruits of love perfectly

God love is perfect.... we are awaiting our new bodies as a perfect creation not subject to death forever more.

So then is it better to know the will of God in part rather than in whole? What would be the goal of that? To make the time of reformation without effect like it never occurred ?

I would rephrase this from Gods LAW OF love to Gods LOVE. There is no law in it.. in fact, I think it is deeper than this, Not only his love, but his character. We are assured of salvation Because our hope is in A God who can not lie. He keeps his promises, and he has proven over and over through the ages how true this is. So I would also add his reputation

Why would he know God's will in part? No one said he would not later have the NT.

The only thing you as a child of God need to think about the law is

1 you have failed to keep it
2 You are failing to keep it
3. You will fail to keep it.

So stop trying to follow something you can never keep (according to Gods standard) and learn to follow The law of love

As a non believer, you have to realise you have failed to keep it. Because of that you are cursed. And see what The law says about atonment, Which should lead you to the lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world. (The tutor which leads us to christ.)
It is impossible to follow the law of love and toss out all God tells us to guide our living. How can you love someone and steal from them? Gossip about them? murder them?

There is the feeling of origins, and the actual relationship with God.
In Christ we need no temple or sacrifices or ceremonies. We need no external binding of the word to us
or special dress codes, or festivals. So all the markers of being a Jew are just memories of what went before.

To put the jewish interpretations that to please God one had to follow all the stipulations of the Torah,
then Christ has not died for ones sins.

So it comes down to ones meaning of being jewish.
We live in the world, it is the place our bodies act on the love we have of the Lord. If we deny all of what living here does as worship and love, we don't have anything. Our actions are our explession of our spirit, our spoken words are powerful and they are actions. There is a spiritual meaning behind every thing we do.

As the Lord led humans to write, the first writing was pictograph. In those pictures emotions were written as pictures because God wanted us to know that such as love and worship was nothing without actions. Love was pictured as bringing gifts.

Do you think that any love of God expressed by Jews is darkness because they deny Christ? Does God think so?

If they deny Christ, they are Jews by birth only...not by faith. Without Christ, there is no love shed abroad in their hearts (Rom 5:5)

Because you love them. Not because your following mosaic law. Thanks for proving my point for me.

How can one be saved when they deny the savior?

I agree we are in totality an expression of Christ on earth in all that we do.
It is why sin and evil become a real issue, and learning how sin is so destructive.

No Grandpa? You must include the law, when considering all of God.
You more then likely yourself obey the law, and don't give it much a 2nd thought when obeying it either.
Say you borrow yer neighbor's circular saw to cut some boards, and while using it the saw blade breaks. Do you give it back to yer neighbor with a broken blade? Or, do you buy a new blade before you give it back to him? Here's the "clincher" that divides the wheat from the chaff, so to speak. Do you replace the blade out of a sense of guilt, or obligation? Or, do you replace the blade out of a sense not wanting yer neighbor, to borrow something from you, and give it back to you broken?
That's right! Loving your neighbor as yourself.
Mark 12
31 And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these.

On the same note, If your neighbor asks you for a cup of sugar. Do you give him a cup of salt?

You'll find much, if not all these laws, and more, in the Torah.

Today? We tend to "pick and choose" which of these "laws" to follow. And, yes? Love "covers" a multitude, of these "trangressings" OF THE LAW. Enter Jesus, who paid the debt of these transgressings of the law!

The problem? Love ONLY? Tends to "turn its blind eye, on trangressions that love DOESN'T cover!
Yes, but that is Gods Work in me. Not me working at the law.

Before that I might just take the saw and never give it back, depending on my whim.

But now I know that saw is not very important at all. What is important are my actions and how people understand them in view of them knowing that I am a Christian. In broadcasting that, I am kind of an ambassador for Christ whether I asked to be or not, people still view it that way. I don't want to put a black mark on what people think of as a Christian.

I never said this or insinuated this

So I hope you can see my delima as to what I have no idea what your trying to do :p
What I am trying to do EG, is redefine, or describe more correctly, what people view as works=Salvation. People see others doing what, in their mind/s, looks like efforts in keeping ones' Salvation, when what they are seeing, or hearing about, are actually, works in keeping ones' election assured. And, growing more mature in the Spirit. Kinda goes hand in hand.
What becoming more mature in the Spirit entails? Is not necessarily "growing longer in the tooth." :) Consider Timothy.
The more one is conformed in the "image of Christ?" The less one is in Christ, and entering the Kingdom of God!
Does this mean one totally forgets Christ, or how to lead someone to Christ? GOD FORBID! What happens, when testifying, or posting witness, concerning the "works" that's required for entering the Kingdom of God, thus keeping ones' election assured? "Wow!" They say instantly. "He's/she's not AT THE CROSS of Christ!" Well? They would be right. That's what "picking up your cross" Means! Entering the Kingdom of God, as Christ confesses one before the Father. At this point? Being saved? SHOULD BE a No Brainer! Yet, it's not "seen/viewed, or TAUGHT" that way! "Imputed righteousness!" They say! And? Again? They'd be right! That'll "get yer foot in the door", so to speak. But, not MUCH FURTHER!
Then, there's this "vetting process." Where the Father sez to ya: "It's just You n ME now, buddy!" This is when He calls on the Lord of the Harvest, and His angels, to works on ya!

I know yer not gonna believe me EG. But, within us all? Are potential Priests of God, as well as Priests of Jesus Christ.

That's right Grandpa. That's Jesus' work in you. Although, Jesus condensed a "lot" of the law, in that 2nd greatest commandment? That same law, is what God told Moses concerning the children of Israel. What would Jesus say? "Have you not read?!"

Sounds like you needs work on your "whims" some. :p:p

When I said law of love I meant it in the way it is not subject to change as if it was a theory .In that way it guards and comforts us.
