DECEPTION!! HERESY!

Contradictions!

If you believe salvation is earned, i would doubt you as a brother/sister in Christ. IM SORRY! but I believe thats not something a BORN AGAIN person would say!

Not saying that to be mean or controversal (pun intended)
I stand amazed that she said what she said about e being dishonest when both Eg and I were honest with our post.....but hey.......I have found that many are like this.....oh well......just keep swinging the sword......

No I wouldn't doubt a person's salvation, just their maturity and rootedness in Christ.

Dividing truth from lies is the meat. Some people don't even drink the milk (pure Gospel message of salvation by the finished work of Jesus on the cross and His resurrection and sending of the holy spirit that we may be born again children of God), so they have a hard time growing in Christ.

How so?

Has AgapeShellArt said that God saves everyone regardless of faith or not will be reconciled to God?
If God accepts all without condition, that means all are saved.
That is universalism.

If I give a gift to the whole world without condition, they all receive it.
Quite a simple idea really.

Question: How can you be saved if you dont believe the pure gospel message of salvation by the finished work of Jesus on the cross?

Thats a task!

Sorry if I miss-understood you.
Let me expand my point. Gods acceptance of His people, is because of their faith in His son and
the atonement of the cross for their sins. As long as they stay faithful and in faith, He will dwell with them.

God loves the world, but His wrath against disobedience and sin will be unleashed and bring consequences today.

He will punish those who do not know God and do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus.
2 Thessalonians 1:8
Can you show me the Bible verse for this statement?

"As long as they stay faithful and in faith,"

I agree with everything else you posted but the Bible says in Timothy "even if we are unfaithful, God is faithful."

Nope some people say "return to sender" the gift is free but people still chose to accept or reject

Left to our sinful nature we would reject it, but God's grace appears, like Jesus to Saul/Paul, to show us our blindness so we might view the world through His spiritual eyes

Incorrect.

Both groups say you should walk like Jesus.

One says you will lose your salvation if you don't.

The other says God has secured you eternally by giving you His Holy spirit and He will chastened you and He will hold you on his hands so no one can take you from God. God is sanctifing you. You can never sin so badly that God's grace can't cleanse you.

It's not a license to sin but a call for all sinners to look to God for healing.
Maybe there are actually more than two groups here.
I was approximating.
And some definitely deny they could ever walk like Jesus or even aspire to it.
A simple test is can you be 24hrs without sinning. Those that say no, do not
believe Jesus transforms them into His likeness in this world.

A few days ago such a point was discussed.:)

Faith that God has a plan and they may be in the process of being saved for they have hearts yearning for God.

The Law is a taskmaster that leads people to Christ for they will eventually realize the need for a savior after they admit they are sinners who can't save themselves or keep themselves saved.

It is God who saves and God show keeps us and sanctifies us.

Interesting. If I can reject a gift, then it is conditional on my acceptance.
In a sense we are given the gift of life, but we cannot reject it, because we would
be dead and not existing.

I know what universalism is.
But you seemed to imply that was being promoted, which I could not see.

Hence my question.

I can go 24 hours thinking I haven't sinned. However, when I pray God shows me the ways I could improve me walk and my testimony.

He shows me missed opportunity to do good and how I allowed fear or pride to keep me from speaking or speaking harshly or rashly.

Sin is defined as falling short of the mark. In our ignorance or through our weakness we can fall short and sin daily.

However we are called to avoid intentional sins that flaunt God's grace so that God may be glorified in our thoughts, speech and actions.

The holy Spirit helps us do this daily and comforts us when we fall short (aka sin).

When we pray upon waking, we should ask God His plans for our day. When we lie down to rest, we should ask God to reveal and review our day. Just as you would with any loving parent.

You mean this one posted awhile ago?
Sorry,,,this thread moves to fast.
OK. Thanks.

2 Timothy 2:12-13
12If we endure, we will also reign with Him;
If we deny Him, He also will deny us;

13If we are faithless, He remains faithful, for He cannot deny Himse
lf.

verse 12 says that if we endure, we will reign with Him.
Now the N.T. is full of verses about enduring till the end...Jesus Himself states this:
Mathew 24:13. Please note verse 10 just before that...Jesus says that many will fall away.
Fall away from what? THE FAITH. Jesus knows that some will fall away and He knows that some will not endure till the end...this is repeated by Paul many times and makes it clear that it can refer to the end times and can also refer to our saved state, since it's our faith that is being discussed.

verse 12 also states that if we deny Him,,,He also will deny us.
Paul is repeating something that Jesus said:
Mathew 10:33
33“But whoever denies Me before men, I will also deny him before My Father who is in heaven.

Basically, if we deny Jesus...we are rejecting our salvation,,,we are denying our salvation because He is the path to the Father and to salvation.

verse 13 states that if we are faithless, He remains faithful because He cannot deny HIMSELF.

Looks like we have a contradiction here.
First we're told if we deny Him, He will deny US.
Then we're told that even if we lose our faith,,,He will remain faithful...
So what does this mean?

It means that God will always remain faithful to HIMSELF....
He made a pact with man and it was to give him a way to save himself.
God will alway remain faithful to that pact.
He will always remain faithful to his mercy.
He will always remain faithful to His justice and His love, etc.
God has a nature and He will forever remain faithful to that nature.

Which is bad news for those with no faith...
Because they will be lost since those with sin will not enter into heaven.
Revelation 21:27

The only way God will remain faithful to HIMSELF with those that have no faith, is to refuse them entrance into heaven.

You could check this out on your own.
The bible does NOT contradict itself.
Whenever you think there's a contradiction...the verses need to be studied.

We can biblically judge one's belief system.........and there is but one correct message of salvation.........the bible makes it very clear.....and to embellish faith with anything to gain or keep a "losable" salvation equates to a false gospel with no power to save a flea, much less a man........

God the creator is a God of conditions.
Everything He does is in a context and for a reason.

The enemy will always ridicule and mock His approach and people.
God is concerned with His peoples response to His heart always.

And what matters most is the fact we freely love Him.

3 years He spent so that we might be His friends and know His heart.

So if you think this is without everything in ones life being involved with the King
you have not met Him.

Just because you are deaf does not mean your question was not answered.

I said yes. God loved Saul before he became Paul for even while we were sinners Jesus died for us

Jesus appearing before Saul/Paul was agape love because HE DIDNT DESERVE IT. He didn't earn forgiveness or grace or salvation.

Jesus appears and Gave it to him.

Just as Jesus gives us who are born again His grace and love.
Some on this thread are so MEAN....
Was it necessary to call me deaf?

God did not love SAUL.
Saul was murdering people.
God HATES MURDER.

Is God's love conditional on your acceptance?
Lets have a simple answer - does God love those who burn in the lake of fire?

No. Because they have passed from life to death, and will never return.

While there is still opportunity to call for forgiveness and mercy, still His love is there.

If this was not so, eternal destruction would not be possible.

Nice try....the key is the GIFTS and CALL of God...not CALLINGS.....and JUDAS was CALLED to fulfill scripture......good twist, but no cigar....I fully expect you to twist this as well.....like you do on almost every other truth........Here let me spell it out

JUDAS was CALLED to FULFILL SCRIPTURE...THIS particularly POINTED call was IRREVOCABLE....JUDAS was going to be the ONE to SELL out JESUS......NO OTHER man in HISTORY could be that MAN.......and are you too dense and dishonest to acknowledge he was called both LOST and A DEVIL in present TENSE.......more dishonesty and lack of integrity on your part....

Do me a favor....if you cannot be honest and show some scriptural integrity DO NOT address me.........simple as!!!!!
I guess since you are scrambling around responding to all of my posts that it is okay to address you

Have you ever uttered the words I was wrong?

You know good and well you have been caught in a contradiction right out of your own mouth with your IRREVOCABLE deceiving false Doctrine

Anybody with one eyeball and half a brain can go back and read what you said over and over

It is impossible to BACKSLIDE AND leave your salvation because the gifts and the call of God is IRREVOCABLE IRREVOCABLE you said

The Bible is plain in Mark 3 that Jesus called Judas and ordained him to be an apostle

BUT NOW ITS ...WAIT A MINUTE .........WAIT A MINUTE THAT IRREVOCABLE STUFF WAS FOR EVERYBODY EXCEPT JUDAS

I thought I read somewhere in the Bible that said "God is Not a respect of people neither regardeth he any man's person"

I guess since you are the dictator you can have it both ways. But as for us common people we see the contradiction

Instead of admitting you were wrong you act like one of the kids that went to the school I used to be principal of.

What are you 16 yrs old telling me..
. do not address me... Because I don't agree with you. That's Child's Play
