can you explain why God chose Simon, knowing that Simon would 'use his free will' to deny Him, to presumptuously tell the temple treasurers that He pays a tax He is absolutely free from, to speak as Satan urging Him not to take up His cross, and to argue with Him & deny His direct commandment in visions?
why did God choose Lot, knowing that Lot would argue with every single thing the angels told him, and have to be forcibly dragged out of Sodom by the hand?

I never said any such thing. I did not ask how long it takes for fruit to manifest in a believer's life, because I ALREADY KNOW the answer. OH, you didn"t KNOW this, Maestro
The Gospel begins bearing fruit in us THE FIRST DAY WE BELIEVE.
Colossians 1:5- because of the hope laid up for you in [a]heaven, of which you previously heard in the word of truth, [b]the gospel 6. :which has come to you, just as in all the world also it is constantly bearing fruit and increasing, even as it has been doing in you also since the day you heard of it and understood the grace of God in truth;

DCON said we cannot bear anything before a period of growth and maturity. Paul said we bear since the day we heard and understood.
Now you will probably say, that is not us bearing fruit, that is the gospel bearing fruit in you...don't say it. Because you're not the one who bears fruit in yourself. You bear fruit because you are in the vine.

Romans 7:4
Thus my brothers, you have been made dead with regard to the Torah through the Messiah's body, so that you may belong to someone else, namely the one who has been raised from the dead, in order fir us to bear fruit for God. For when we were living according to our old nature, the passions connected with sins worked through the Torah in our various parts, with the result that we bore fruit for death. But, now we have been released from this aspect of the Torah because we have died to that which had us in is clutches, so that we are serving in the new way provided by the Spirit and not in the old way of ourwardly following the letter of the law.
We are to present ourselves a living sacrifice, Holy and acceptable to God and reckon it's true that we are dead to sin but alive to God. We were changed instantly when we were born again. Taken from the kingdom of darkness and translated into the Kingdom of Gods dear Son.
It's our hearts desire to be like Jesus, and be loved by Father. He does...and we do. This is better than forced labor. Paul was painting a picture for his Jewish brethren, but taking all scriptures together, we find the truth.
Circumcised of flesh by heavenly hands, on the 8th Day...the day of new beginnings. The day of new life in Jesus. Of course He leads by His Word, and by His Voice. And we flow in His gifttings. We love it!

Faith itself bears fruit, sometimes on the first day or first several days.
Andrew brought Peter because he believed Jesus was the Messiah
Phillip brought Nathaniel because he believed Jesus was the Messiah
The Samaritan woman brought a whole village because she believed Jesus was the Messiah
Repentance bears fruit.
John the Baptist, bring forth fruits meet for repentance.

I study words. It's the way I roll, and actually received 2 prophecies about this very thing. So who should I obey? You or Jesus?

I haven't said anything about this here except for one person. I have limited time. My daughter was in a bad accident; hit by a police car that was full speed going to a call. Car totaled and her neck so badly injured that she has a plate now holding three vertebras. Then developed complications. I am caring for her.[/QUOTE]

I asked a simple question. It was about believers being deceived into the pit.
If faith resides on mans response then deception and belief matters.
If faith resides only on Gods work, then what people teach does not matter because they will only
effect the lost.
We are called to His people, and to share with those who are called to His purposes.
There is a reality.
Jesus's sheep listen to Him, and follow Him and obey Him. They love Him.
My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me.
John 10:27
So if you love Jesus and follow Him Amen, welcome brother and sister in Christ.
