EG clearly said he made this statement on the basis that in his understanding (1) it's not 100% accurate to say you love someone if you don't know them, and (2) infinite God is not 'known' by us in the finite peanut gallery. i think it's clear that he is defining love to the nth level, and i respect that -- even tho to me it's just as shocking of a statement, i see great value in it because of the great value he implies that the real meaning of love has.

i just hope, that this disagreement ((which i know i know, i just stepped in on suddenly, like taking a dog by ears)) doesn't turn into a 'root of bitterness' and i hope you can step back and try to look at where he's coming from when he says this.

if your'e both believers y'all stuck with each other for eternity so best learn to get along, right?

I think I know where he is coming from. And when we get to heaven the flesh will be gone and we will all know fully then even as we are fully known

Was it perfect according to the level she had attained to? pretty much

God is just as pleased with a new believers fruit and works as He is with a mature believer, if they are walking according to what they have received.

You don't need to be saved for years to bear ANY kind of fruit.

Jesus is teaching His disciples what they must do, if one of His sheep wander away and become lost.

Matthew says it this way -

Here are the steps to take to go after one of His sheep who has become lost.
