Thanks on the info, it appears as well blood is 92% water is quite a bit.
well I read that it is only about 50% or a little more not 92%

blood is considered plasma and our bodies contain 50% plasma in the make up of blood

it's all over the internet and can easily be verified

Normally, 7-8% of human body weight is from blood. In adults, this amounts to 4.5-6 quarts of blood. This essential fluid carries out the critical functions of transporting oxygen and nutrients to our cells and getting rid of carbon dioxide, ammonia, and other waste products. In addition, it plays a vital role in our immune system and in maintaining a relatively constant body temperature. Blood is a highly specialized tissue composed of more than 4,000 different kinds of components. Four of the most important ones are red cells, white cells, platelets, and plasma. All humans produce these blood components--there are no populational or regional differences.

I don't see the point in trying to make a point with incorrect information

and that, was the actual point I was trying to make :)

So actually what you found is

The human blood contains about 45% of erythrocytes and 54.3% of plasma by volume. The plasma contains about 92% water, while the erythrocytes, about 64% by weight.

bottom line human blood contains enough water for God to use it for the covenant in the OT.

Paul’s Epistles - Spirit and water baptism (Paul’s own water baptism - Acts 22:16)

(Rom 6:3-5, 1 Cor 1:15-16, 1 Cor 12:13, Gal 3:27, Eph 4:4-5, Col 2:12, Titus 3:5-6, Heb 4:1-2)

Rom 6:3-5 (Water Baptism) “Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death? (Where blood is applied?) Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection:”

1 Cor 1:15-16 (Water Baptism) “Lest any should say that I had baptized in mine own name. And I baptized also the household of Stephanas: besides, I know not whether I baptized any other.”

1 Cor 12:13 (Water and Spirit Baptism) “For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.”

Gal 3:2 (Spirit Baptism) “This only would I learn of you, Received ye the Spirit by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?”

Gal 3:27 (Water Baptism) “For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.”

Eph 4:4-5 (One Spirit, one water baptism) “There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; One Lord, one faith, one baptism,”

Col 2:12 (Water Baptism) “Buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead.”

Titus 3:5-6 (Water and Spirit Baptism) “Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour;”

Heb 4:1-2 “Let us therefore fear, lest, a promise being left us of entering into his rest, any of you should seem to come short of it. For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it.”
Romans 6 contains no water, but the spiritual baptism in Christ as the believer is placed in the body of Christ.

Galatians affirms that one is baptized into Christ not water. Paul even asks, did you receive the Spirit by the works of the law or by the hearing of faith? Did you catch that? Faith.

Keep trying...it's just not there. No works, but by believing in the finished work of the cross.

People baptizing other people in water is a Shadow of what Christ and the Holy Spirit do to the Believer.

The whole OT was a shadow of what Christ is and the work of the Holy Spirit.

People get confused when they try to force the OT carnal way into the NT Spiritual Way.

The OT carnal way was done by the work of men.

The NT Spiritual Way is done by Christ.

If anyone can show Christ commanding people to baptize other people in water AFTER His DBR I could have my mind changed on this.

Just don't confuse baptize in water with baptize in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Just because scripture says baptize it doesn't (always) mean immerse in water.

when you go from discussing the op or anything that came up in an op, and you make personal and negative remarks to someone, that is called an ad hominem attack. anytime you do that to anyone, it is the same thing...an ad hominem attack

what do you call someone who when presented with the facts, continues on with insisting they were right as you did?

that doesn't make me aggressive.

I referenced a medical site both times. it wasn't personal. did you even bother to check it out?

your point was not biblical. it is the blood of Christ that cleanses from all sin. the Bible says absolutely nothing about the water in the blood. that is your interpretation that you cannot force on others especially when it is proven that blood is far more than water and even water consists of 3 elements

and as said above my post here, the entire OT is a foreshadowing of Christ

the op is making a point about literal water baptism....and it appears so are you regarding water

that's all. believe the science or make up your own truths. it really is your choice

Yes that is why it’s good news or nearly too good to be true
Indeed, the gospel is the good news. But the problem here is the previous post (#19) asks if all one needs to do is to acknowledge that Jesus is Saviour and then you are saved?

Absolutely not! Acknowledge means to "accept or admit the existence or truth of". That is not the same as the Biblical definition of "believe".

John 3:16 says that whosever believes has eternal life.

I find it hard to take this seriously........ The ONLY reason you would read WATER into a BLOOD covenant is to make it fit the water baptism unto salvation idea.

Oy vey! The lengths people are WILLING TO GO!

Go back to the Torah, what did Moses sprinkle? Was it water or BLOOD?
Then go to the book of Hebrews, with WHAT Jesus entered? BLOOD, or water?

I'll spoil the answer: Its blood in both instances. WITHOUT BLOOD THERE IS NO REMISSION OF SINS!

I respect your opinion, though what I quoted was to another poster about the knowledge of baptism wasn’t known in the OT, and I pointed to Moses baptizing the people in blood. the word baptism is a English word derived from other translations in Greek Hebrew, the Hebrew word is used in different ways depending on context dipping Emersing sprinkling all use for going from unclean to clean in the OT.

You notice in that post I said water is part of blood for indeed it is very important the human body for the human body cannot produce blood without water. though IMO found it hard to believe it was the plasma in blood or trace elements in blood the reason that God wanted Moses to sprinkle the people with blood , I believe it was because of water no matter what form it is in rather blood or mud it is quite important.

I do admit maybe saying want I did veered a little from the OP topic but you as well do so by quoting me your in the same boat. so it appears as you and I made hominem attacks against each other, I do apologize for my hominem attack.

How does the human body make blood but with water. the water is first the blood is second not the other way around.

Sorry if you missed understood what I was saying, I responded to baptism in OT, I think the people knew what a baptism was to do, I haven’t seen in scripture where people saying what is this baptism for what is it for, I believe they knew what to process was for. they came to him to get baptized, in the OT if you touched a dead corpses you had to plunge into water to be clean again. In the NT it is about an outward expression of repentance of sin not about salvation it is not a requirement but would Jesus like to see people to show that outward expression you tell me???

I find it ironic the Pharisees saw nothing but blood and couldn’t see the water right in front of them.

oh my lands give it up already

you sound like you are apologizing to yourself for being so wrong

you can believe a flying fish is coming to your house for dinner tonight and is going to set the table and then cook himself

what you believe is just a big example of someone trying to make the wrong belief fit the right scripture

fish ain't coming to yer house neither

but none of them will cook dinner for you

ps...I accept your apology :geek:
