Never did I claim that a person could love God and not love their neighbor.Again, fruit or not, no one can claim to love God when they don't love their neighbor and the only way to love God scripturally, is to love one another:

Either present a rational argument, or bow out. Mockery isn't contributing to anything except division.Says the lady that endorses incomprehensible heavenly languages![]()
most do that when they can not present biblical argument. then they have to attack and mock.Either present a rational argument, or bow out. Mockery isn't contributing to anything except division.
you have me confused with Paul and God
Paul and God, by His Spirit, endorse tongues
you are a mocker and a divisive person
the kind scripture tells true believers to stay away from
but I am a lady...at least you got that right. you could not handle a lady.
you look for trouble and wish to make derogatory comments which is why you butted in to a post that has nothing to do with you
much like the way you respond. your responses have nothing to do with any sort of Christian posts
And that's not my point, i'm saying there's no other way of loving God who you do not see other than loving one another. ALL commandments is fulfilled in loving thy neighbor- ALL.Never did I claim that a person could love God and not love their neighbor.
just like the other who see hate when you disagree with him, you think love is agreeing with you.LOLAnd that's not my point, i'm saying there's no other way of loving God who you do not see other than loving one another. ALL commandments is fulfilled in loving thy neighbor- ALL.
All except the first five. And that's not my point, i'm saying there's no other way of loving God who you do not see other than loving one another. ALL commandments is fulfilled in loving thy neighbor- ALL.
ALL.All except the first five.
Which begin with...

1cor 13 the whole context is love being the motivation of operating the Gifts of God, not for self. They are to be used for the betterment of all AS 1cor chapter 12 states. You need to learn what a Unit Chapter is. 1cor 11 to 14 are unit chapters, you were shown this before. I would remember what the word of God says what Love is.Not me, the scriptures. I have quoted the scriptures, if you disagree, bring your interpretation.
the truth is contrasted as opposite of evil.Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5 It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
Love for the word of God does not remove or make false statements of no longer done or it has been done away with. God out of HIS
Love has preserved the gifts of the Holy Spirit for us today. We just need to use them for His Glory and in the love of others.
I agree with you 100% and knowing that no gift is for self edification, tongues can not be for self edification. My point all along
one application can be those who do not separate from evil acts or willfully doing them.the truth is contrasted as opposite of evil.
What does delight in evil actually mean in this PARTICULAR CONTEXT?
I would encourage you to study Jude 20... with reference to the Greek text.
I agree... if you are discussing whether to follow the Mosaic law or not, Galatians 5:13 and Romans 13:8 make it clear that the law is fulfilled in the one command.ALL.
Gal 5:13For you, brothers, were called to freedom; but do not use your freedom as an opportunity for the flesh. Rather, serve one another in love. 14The entire Law is fulfilled in a single decree: “Love your neighbor as yourself.”
Rom 13: 8 Be indebted to no one, except to one another in love, for he who loves his neighbor has fulfilled the Law. 9The commandments “Do not commit adultery,” “Do not murder,” “Do not steal,” “Do not covet,” and any other commandments, are summed up in this one decree: “Love your neighbor as yourself.”
1 John 4:7Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. 8Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love. 9This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him. 10This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins. 11Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. 12No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God lives in us and his love is made complete in us.
Read it in the Greek, then read 1 Cor 14:4 in the Greek. It's the same root word, and the same concept.Does Jude 20 by any chance cancel what was said earlier?
When it is said 'love is about others and not self' does Jude reverse that and say love is about self?
I'm not the one equating, that's exactly what Paul is teaching concerning tongues:I agree... if you are discussing whether to follow the Mosaic law or not, Galatians 5:13 and Romans 13:8 make it clear that the law is fulfilled in the one command.
However, you are trying to build an argument that "love your neighbor as yourself" can be used against "the one who speaks in a tongue edifies himself". You are about to engage in the fallacy of equivocation. Save yourself the trouble; it's an invalid argument.

This part, i don't agree with:
John 14:12Truly, truly, I tell you, whoever believes in Me will also do the works that I am doing. He will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father.
Q. Which works are you doing greater than our Lord Jesus? If there's non, then we agree that they ceased.
