This post about my post has no bearing whatsover at all on the truth of my post. Nor does it lay the ground work for some support of a translation/transliterstion of the word......As orginally written in Hebrew, Greek and what little Chaldean and Aramic is my reference...............nice try, but no cigar!
What it proves is that God is able to preserve His pure words and they too can be inspired. God does not place much importance on the "originals" and neither should we.

No offence, but to not address and or go to the Greek and or Hebrew to gain a better, deeper understanding is ridiculous.....!!

When the Greek offers 4 choices...which one do you go with? Whatever you choose, that makes you the final authority on what God has said.

Does not matter.....ALL GREEK words come from one source and that is the beauty of a DEAD LANGUAGE.......it means what it says and says what it means.......! There are also NUANCES and foundational truths that are LOST IN TRANSLATION....verb tense not found in English etc.....

Are you saying that God could not say what He has stated in His "originals" using the English language? I believe that if God were to speak His "originals" using the English language, what we have in the KJV is the exact wording.

God chose to use the Koine Greek to convey the N.T.....and we are foolish to not consult it for a better understanding of the truth!

Did you know that the ones who actually translated the preserved perfect KJV were calvinists and disagreed with you on a bunch of stuff?
No doubt that many (if not most) of the KJV translators were Calvinists, but above and beyond that, they were men of character, integrity, piety, and outstanding scholarship. The last thing they would try to do is to tamper with the actual words as found in the printed Hebrew and Greek texts. Their task was to TRANSLATE, not interpret (as found in the Calvinist Geneva Bible). They also ensured that any words which they inserted as helps were clearly distinguished from the actual text through the use of italics.

So why should Christians regard the KJV as the very Word of God in English (with the 66 books of the Bible) and continue using it as their sole Bible?

1. The KJV was THE (sole) English Bible worldwide for at least 300 years, and the majority of commentaries and Bible study helps (concordances, lexicons, expository dictionaries, etc) were based on the Authorized Version. The Geneva Bible (a close relative) did not gain such influence.

2. It is the only commonly used Bible in English that is squarely based upon the traditional Hebrew Masoretic text and the traditional Greek Textus Receptus (Received Text). All other modern versions are based upon ancient but corrupted Hebrew and Greek critical texts which were tampered with by heretics. Those are the FACTS. Detailed books are available which provide the full picture for those who desire the truth.

3. The above Hebrew and Greek texts faithfully represent the MAJORITY of extant manuscripts (including lectionaries) and ancient versions. What came down to Christians by the time that printing was invented were copies of copies of copies of the original autographs (inspired documents), in which God preserved His Word through the ages. So the inspiration of the Scriptures was supplemented by the PRESERVATION of the Scriptures also. There are over 5,000 Greek manuscripts and between 1,000 and 10,000 Hebrew manuscripts.

4. The KJV is a faithful word-for-word translation of the Holy Scriptures, and even the Jewish Publication Society based their Hebrew Bible translation on the KJV (originally). Most of the modern versions are not, and some are mere paraphrases.

5. It has stood the test of time, and been used mightily by God to bring millions of souls to Christ, and also to edify millions of Christians worldwide. In other words, God blessed this translation, because it was faithful.

6. It is still used by Christians and non-Christians alike, and a recent survey showed that it is used more widely than modern translations.

7. All the propaganda against the King James Bible is BOGUS. Even children can read and understand this Bible (and this has been true for over 400 years). The really archaic words are about two dozen, and "thee" and "thou" equivalents are still used in German and some other languages, and are actually more accurate than simply "you". For those who would insist on updated versions of the KJV, the NKJV is UNACCEPTABLE (since it has compromised itself). However the King James 2000 Bible and some others would be more than satisfactory.

8. The beauty of the language and the spiritual POWER of the KJV has impressed people for ages, and this Bible is mostly used by filmmakers when quoting Scripture. Furthermore, English language scholars regard it as a "classic", and assert that the English language itself was MOLDED by the KJV. No other Bible translation can match the outstanding qualities of the King James Bible.

What happened to the "original" ten commandments written with God's own finger? They were destroyed, yet God preserved them perfectly in a copy. Was the copy inspired by God? Was the copy just as good as the "original"?
What do you mean, he preserved them "perfectly?" If he did that, they'd be on stone tablets in Hebrew in their original state.

If you hired me to preserve a 1969 Plymouth Road Runner in mint condition for you, you'd accept a 1972 Gremlin rust bucket and think it's the same thing?

Yes, yes you would.

"In the beginning was the word and the word was with God and The Word was God." John 1:1

No.
The Bible , written by over 40 different authors over a period of over 1500 years is not inerrant. You said it yourself in fact.
The 66 books of the Bible today were in 1611 to include 15 extra books known now as the Apocrypha.

Books of the Apocrypha

Why were those books removed?
· In 1880 the American Bible Society voted remove the “Apocrypha” Books from the King James Version. These 14 Books [There are 155,683 words in over 5,700 verses in 168 Chapters] of the Apocrypha had been part of the King’s bible since 1611.
· The “Apocrypha” was officially removed from the English printings of the KJV by the Archbishop of Canterbury in 1885 leaving only 66 books."

Excerpted from this SOURCE

It was believed in 1611 that the Bible was the inspired inerrant words of our God. Why would man remove 15 books?

The top is a 69, bottom a 70.

I like the black 69 better.
The image was so big at the top I couldn’t post it was a 1969. What I meant was the bottom image was a 1970. The 1970 looks better, in my opinion, my friend. The 426 with the pistol grip 4 speed. Grrrrrr!

Only because you posted a 70 with fancy wheels and the 69 with stock. Embellishing...

The Apocrypha was never treated or classified by Protestants as inspired.

It was included in the KJV since people had gotten used to seeing it. But it was clearly separated from the OT and NT, and eventually removed.
