The Christ volunteered to serve His Father, to create, after His Commandment, the world and "ALL Things in it, create His Gospel, come to earth as a man, die and after death reap the promises given Him by the Father. He said Himself:

17 And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments.

John 10:
17 Therefore doth my Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I might take it again.

Matt. 16:25 For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it.

John 10:18 No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment have I received of my Father.

Matt. 16:
24 Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. (As Jesus did for His Father)

The Jesus of the Bible didn't cheat in His Mission G9. He wasn't a fraud, He didn't take shortcuts, He wasn't pretending to be a man.

He had the same tools all mankind has to resist the devil. He had powers that ALL men of true Faith have access to through the Father.

You don't believe this because much of your understanding comes from religious man, as you have been shown. I don't have anything against anyone on this forum. I simply have been freed from the deception of the "Ministers of Righteousness" we are warned about over and over in the Word of God and am sharing this understanding with others.

You also have the power to die through sin. You also have the power to take your life up again through genuine repentance. This power was given you by the Father. Jesus offered His Life for yours to give you this option. I just hate to see folks belittle Him and His great Love by teaching others He really didn't risk anything. You don't believe He really came in the Flesh? Neither did the Pharisees.

Duet. 30:
19 I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I (The Word of God which became flesh) have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live:
20 That thou mayest love the LORD thy God, and that thou mayest obey his voice, and that thou mayest cleave unto him: for he is thy life, and the length of thy days: that thou mayest dwell in the land which the LORD sware unto thy fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give them.

I don't deny any Word of God. I also don't believe you can use one verse to destroy another.

42 Saying, Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done.
43 And there appeared an angel unto him from heaven, strengthening him.

How is it God needs a creation of His own to strengthen Him? Or maybe, just maybe the Scriptures are true and Jesus, the Word which became Flesh, was a man.
so, in other words, you do not believe the words that Jesus said about Himself.

well, since you are calling Christ a liar, I am out of this.

I will not participate in any way, shape, or form. in this blasphemy.

what are you even slandering about today? who here is worshiping icons?

1 Samuel 21:15
Have I need of mad men, that ye have brought this [fellow] to play the mad man in my presence?

ain't you the one who preaches Jesus was just an ordinary man, not God enfleshed?
You who judge others and do the same thing. I have never said Jesus is an ordinary man. I said He was a man who committed His Life to His Father unto the end, and He did this so I can be free to "SERVE", not man's religion, but the Word of the Almighty God..

I have learned to expect these intellectually dishonest statements that define your religion, Acting as if you have no clue what I'm talking about, when the entire world looks on your image of God, in the likeness of a handsome long haired man, as the "Christian" God.

Many don't believe God became a man in the person of Jesus. Neither did the Mainstream Preachers of His Time.

Nothing new under the sun.

Sorry for the OSAS issue. So I'll go to "Not by works" which implies that Faith ALONE saves. I found a verse which says that it is not by faith ALONE...

...You see that a person is justified by what he does and not by faith alone James 2:24

I would appreciate it if you can show me a verse that says that it is FAITH ALONE that saves.

Thanks.

You are Spewing FALSE DOCTRINE, and A FALSE GOSPEL.
YOU WOULD BE TOTALLY WRONG! Here is the Commentary by J. Vernon McGee on James 2:21-24:

"Was not Abraham our father justified by works, when he had offered Isaac his son upon the altar?

Seest thou how faith wrought with his works, and by works was faith made perfect?

And the scripture was fulfilled which saith, Abraham believed God, and it was imputed unto him for righteousness: and he was called the Friend of God.

Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only" [James 2:21-24].

Paul said that Abraham was justified by faith (see Rom. 4:3), and Genesis tells us that he was justified by faith (see Gen. 15:6; Gen. 22:1-14). Was Abraham justified when he offered his son Isaac? The question is: Did he offer his son Isaac? And the answer is: No, he didn't. Then what was Abraham's work of faith? How did works save him? His faith caused him to lift that knife to do a thing which he did not believe God would ever ask him to do. But since God had asked him, he was willing to do it. He believed that God would raise Isaac from the dead. Abraham never actually offered Isaac, because God provided a substitute, but he would have done it if God had not stopped him.

This is a choice illustration of the fact that you demonstrate your faith by your actions. The action of this man was that he believed God.

Thru The Bible with J. Vernon McGee.
YOU SEE THAT ABRAHAM'S FAITH WAS IN GOD'S POWER TO RESURRECT, AND AFTERWARDS IN THE SUBSTITUTE SACRIFICE THAT GOD WOULD PROVIDE. THAT IS A PROPHECY ABOUT THE MESSIAH. DID YOU EVEN THINK OF THAT WHEN YOU READ THAT VERSE? NO! YOU WERE IN SUCH A RUSH TO PROVE YOUR PRIDEFUL WORKS COUNTED AS PART OF YOUR SALVATION, THAT YOU WILLINGLY IGNORED THE TRUTH.

Here is a BUNCH of Verses that you Willing also ignored.
REMEMBER the definition of GRACE = Receiving what you Do Not Deserve and Cannot EARN:

Ephesians 2:5 (HCSB)
5 made us alive with the Messiah even though we were dead in trespasses. You are saved by grace!

Ephesians 2:8-9 (HCSB)
8 For you are saved by grace through faith, and this is not from yourselves; it is God’s gift
9 not from works, so that no one can boast.

Romans 11:6 (HCSB)
6 Now if by grace, then it is not by works; otherwise grace ceases to be grace.

Romans 3:24 (HCSB)
24 They are justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus.

Romans 3:28 (HCSB)
28 For we conclude that a man is justified by faith apart from the works of the law.

Romans 5:2 (HCSB)
2 We have also obtained access through Him by faith into this grace in which we stand, and we rejoice in the hope of the glory of God.

Romans 5:9 (HCSB)
9 Much more then, since we have now been declared righteous by His blood, we will be saved through Him from wrath.

Galatians 1:6 (HCSB)
6 I am amazed that you are so quickly turning away from Him who called you by the grace of Christ ⌊and are turning⌋ to a different gospel—

Galatians 5:4 (HCSB)
4 You who are trying to be justified by the law are alienated from Christ; you have fallen from grace.

Galatians 2:21 (HCSB)
21 I do not set aside the grace of God, for if righteousness comes through the law, then Christ died for nothing.

Titus 3:5-8 (HCSB)
5 He saved usnot by works of righteousness that we had done, but according to His mercy, through the washing of regeneration and renewal by the Holy Spirit.
6 He poured out this ⌊Spirit⌋ on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Savior,
7 so that having been justified by His grace, we may become heirs with the hope of eternal life.
8 This saying is trustworthy. I want you to insist on these things, so that those who have believed God might be careful to devote themselves to good works. These are good and profitable for everyone.

2 Timothy 1:9 (HCSB)
9 He has saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace, which was given to us in Christ Jesus before time began.

That is enough for now, though there are a LOT MORE VERSES that You willingly ignore to make your Works Righteousness Theory work for YOU, but it is does not work for GOD.

NOTICE THAT LAST VERSE: I have read it before, and NOW a DEEPER insight just CAME TO ME. It says grace, which was given to us in Christ Jesus before time began, which is the proof positive, that SALVATION began the moment he wrote our NAMES in the Lamb's Book of Life before the FOUNDATION of the WORLD.

Revelation 13:8-9 (HCSB)
8 All those who live on the earth will worship him, everyone whose name was not written from the foundation of the world in the book of life of the Lamb who was slaughtered.
9 If anyone has an ear, he should listen:

THINK ABOUT IT! We who would choose to Repent and Receive HIM as LORD meaning Master, actually had our names written in the Book of Life before time began.

Perfect G9. Right on cue.

Acts 24:
13 Neither can they prove the things whereof they now accuse me.
14 But this I confess unto thee, that after the way which they (You) call heresy, so worship I the God of my fathers, believing all things which are written in the law and in the prophets:

Is. 53:
1 Who hath believed our report? and to whom is the arm of the LORD revealed?
2 For he shall grow up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: he hath no form nor comeliness; and when we shall see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him.

3 He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not.

This is the Christ telling us right here who He is and I believe in this Christ. AS it is written:

Rom. 3:
3 For what if some (You) did not believe? shall their (your) unbelief make the faith of God without effect?
4 God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged.

i asked, not blindly accused.
thank you for something not entirely unlike an answer :)

for your part, did someone say Christ did not come in the flesh?

do not be false. look up hypostatic union. Christ is 100% man and 100% God. God is never not God.

That is your religious belief created by religious men that you trust. But you also preach the Pharisees were trying to earn salvation by obeying God which is false, so just because you have been convinced of something, doesn't make it truth.

The point the Bible makes about the "Man of Sorrows" is that He lived His life as a man, not a God. He overcame sin as a man, not a God. He attained perfection as a man, not as a God. We was born as a man, not as a God. He suckled His mother's breast as a man child, not a God. He learned obedience as a man, not a God. He said so Himself.

Matt. 19:17 And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments.

I either believe in Him or I don't.

You don't, rather, can't accept this because you preach it is impossible to obey God as a man, that God's Laws are against man, that Jesus came to "remove them" (Direct quote) from us, not put them into affect as the scriptures teach.

That's OK. As I have also said many times, we serve different Christ's. My Lord came to earth as a man and overcame sin as a man. He risked His human Life for me knowing that if He sinned, if satan won, He would be guilty of sin and would need a sacrifice Himself, therefore He couldn't offer Himself for my rebellion. Your Lord didn't overcome sin as a man, rather, he just pretended to be a man and overcame the devil because he is God, using powers no other human has ever had.

Where is the great victory in that? Where is the honor in pretending to be a man in all ways as we are, but kicking in His super powers no human has when things get difficult as it does for every human ever born. First fruits of what? God's who use their eternal power to win?

Yours is a popular Jesus, the image religious man created of him is known world wide as the Christian "God".

The Lord of the Bible is not that Christ IMO.

It would be a good topic of discussion for those interested in the truth. Not so good for folks who really don't believe He lived His life as a man.

Listening and Doing
...My dear brothers, take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry, for man’s anger does not bring about the righteous life that God desires. Therefore, get rid of all moral filth and the evil that is so prevalent and humbly accept the word planted in you, which can save you. Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says. Anyone who listens to the word but does not do what it says is like a man who looks at his face in a mirror and, after looking at himself, goes away and immediately forgets what he looks like. But the man who looks intently into the perfect law that gives freedom, and continues to do this, not forgetting what he has heard, but doing it—he will be blessed in what he does. If anyone considers himself religious and yet does not keep a tight rein on his tongue, he deceives himself and his religion is worthless. Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world. James 1:19-27

That is your religious belief created by religious men that you trust.
i do not trust men.

i read: His name is Immanuel, God With Us.
i also read:

Giving thanks to the Father who did make us meet for the participation of the inheritance of the saints in the light,
who did rescue us out of the authority of the darkness, and did translate [us] into the reign of the Son of His love, in whom we have the redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of the sins, who is the Image of the invisible God, first-born of all creation, because in Him were the all things created, those in the heavens, and those upon the earth, those visible, and those invisible, whether thrones, whether lordships, whether principalities, whether authorities; all things through Him, and for Him, have been created, and Himself is before all, and the all things in him have consisted. And Himself is the head of the body — the assembly — who is a beginning, a first-born out of the dead, that He might become in all [things] — Himself — first, because in Him it did please all the fullness to tabernacle, and through Him to reconcile the all things to Himself — having made peace through the blood of His cross — through Him, whether the things upon the earth, whether the things in the heavens.
(Colossians 1:15-20)

Yah has said, '
they will look upon Me, whom they have pierced'

and i look at His creation, and i see:

the invisible things of Him from the creation of the world, by the things made being understood, are plainly seen, both His eternal power and Godhead
(Romans 1:20)

Jesus Christ came 100% fully in the flesh. but i do not cast aside His eternal qualities, dude. i marvel at them. He remains at all times and apart from all time 100% infinite creator God, the Amen, First and Last, unchanging and eternal, Almighty God :)

Did God say that we are saved through faith, not works in Ephesians 2:8,9 or faith AND works? Does that equate to faith in Christ alone or faith and works? It's a rhetorical question. 1 Peter 1:4 - to obtain an inheritance which is imperishable and undefiled and will not fade away, reserved in heaven for you, 5 who are protected by the power of God through faith for a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.

Salvation is not probation.
Eternal life is not temporary life.
Jesus is the door. He is not a revolving door.

Are the saints of God preserved FOREVER, or just temporarily? (Psalm 37:28)
Did Jesus say His sheep will NEVER perish or will perish? Will not be snatched from His hand or will be? (John 10:27-29)
These whom He justified, He also glorified. ALL of them or only some of them? (Romans 8:30)
Believers are sealed in Christ by the Holy Spirit until the redemption of the purchased possession/unto the day of redemption or just temporarily? (Ephesians 1:13-14; 4:30). :)
Here's what the man with WISDOM have said and written:

...Now all has been heard; here is the conclusion of the matter: Fear God and keep his commandments, for this is the whole duty of man. For God will bring every deed into judgment, including every hidden thing, whether it is good or evil. Ecclesiastes 12:13-14

Now here's what Isaiah the prophet said which you reject because it was written for the Israelites in the OT;

...for they have rejected the law of the Lord Almighty
and spurned the word of the Holy One of Israel. Isaiah 5:24

Is it your whole DUTY as a man to fear God and keep and OBEY His commandments?

Now in the NT it says;

...We know that we have come to know him if we obey his commands. The man who says, “I know him,” but does not do what he commands is a liar, and the truth is not in him. But if anyone obeys his word, God’s love is truly made complete in him. This is how we know we are in him: Whoever claims to live in him must walk as Jesus did. 1 john 2:3-6

...But the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters and all liars—their place will be in the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death.” Revelation 21:8

There are lots of warnings for us not to be DECEIVED.

Would you reject and nullify the WORD and receive God's Grace in vain? (Mark 7:6-13, 2 corinthians 6:1)

...For the word of God is living and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart. Nothing in all creation is hidden from God’s sight. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of him to whom we must give account. Hebrews 4:12-13

...Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of such things God’s wrath comes on those who are disobedient. 7 Therefore do not be partners with them. Ephesians 5:6

Does a person who teaches obedience to God causes another person to sin by doing so?

Would any person who don't have FAITH in God teach obedience to God? Or would the deceiver be TEACHING obedience to God as a deception? Would he not rather teach DISOBEDIENCE in His attempt to deceive the believers?

Is it not those who condemn those who teach obedience to God who DOES NOT HAVE FAITH in God and CAUSES A PERSON TO SIN?

Is it not that sin is the transgression of the law?(1 john 3:4)

Is it obedience to God to break the law?

Who then causes another person to sin?

...At that time the disciples came to Jesus and asked, “Who is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven?”

2 He called a little child and had him stand among them. 3 And he said: “I tell you the truth, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. 4 Therefore, whoever humbles himself like this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.

5 “And whoever welcomes a little child like this in my name welcomes me. 6 But IF ANYONE CAUSES ONE OF THESE LITTLE ONES WHO “BELIEVE” IN ME TO SIN, it would be better for him to have a large millstone hung around his neck and to be drowned in the depths of the sea.

7 “Woe to the world because of the things that cause people to sin! Such things must come, but WOE TO THE MAN THROUGH WHOM THEY COME FROM! 8 If your hand or your foot causes you to sin, cut it off and throw it away. It is better for you to enter life maimed or crippled than to have two hands or two feet and be THROWN INTO ETERNAL FIRE. 9 And if your eye causes you to sin, gouge it out and throw it away. It is better for you to enter life with one eye than to have two eyes and be THROWN INTO THE FIRE OF HELL. matthew 18:1-9

...Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of such things GOD'S WRATH COMES ON THOSE WHO ARE DISOBEDIENT. ephesians 5:6

...JUSTIFIED...
...SAVED...

...But what does it say? “The word is near you; it is in your mouth and in your heart,” that is, the word of faith we are proclaiming: That if you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are JUSTIFIED, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are SAVED. As the Scripture says, “Anyone who trusts in him will never be put to shame.” For there is no difference between Jew and Gentile—the same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on him, for, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? And how can they preach unless they are sent? As it is written, “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!” But not all the Israelites accepted the good news. For Isaiah says, “Lord, who has believed our message?” Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word of Christ. But I ask: Did they not hear? Of course they did: “Their voice has gone out into all the earth, their words to the ends of the world.” Again I ask: Did Israel not understand? First, Moses says, “I will make you envious by those who are not a nation; I will make you angry by a nation that has no understanding.” And Isaiah boldly says, “I was found by those who did not seek me; I revealed myself to those who did not ask for me.” But concerning Israel he says, “All day long I have held out my hands to a disobedient and obstinate people.” Romans 10:8-21

...For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast. For we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. Ephesians 2:8-10

NOT BY WORKS of our own (JUSTIFICATION) because we are a new creation IN CHRIST JESUS doing the good works which God prepared in advance for us to do.

We are God's fellow workers for the salvation of others. We reap what we have not worked for...eternal life. Others have done the hard work that we are now reaping in the same way that as God's fellow workers, we do the hard work so that others may reap.A SELFLESS LOVE that is found in the body of Christ.

...“My food,” said Jesus, “is to do the will of him who sent me and to finish his work. do you not say, ‘Four months more and then the harvest’? I tell you, open your eyes and look at the fields! They are ripe for harvest. Even now the reaper draws his wages, even now he harvests the crop for eternal life, so that the sower and the reaper may be glad together. Thus the saying ‘One sows and another reaps’ is true. I sent you to reap what you have not worked for. Others have done the hard work, and you have reaped the benefits of their labor.” John 4:34-38

NO! IT IS NOT MUST DO WHAT IT SAYS, IT IS WILL STRIVE TO DO WHAT HE COMMANDS, because we LOVE HIM.

John 14:15 (HCSB)
15 If you love Me, you will keep My commands.

John 14:23-24 (HCSB)
23 Jesus answered, “If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word. My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him.
24 The one who doesn't love Me will not keep My words. The word that you hear is not Mine but is from the Father who sent Me.

CLEARLY Obedience is what You WILL DO, because YOU LOVE HIM, and it is NOT PART OF SALVATION. That LOVE planted in your HEART BY THE HOLY SPIRIT WILL PRODUCE A HARVEST OF THE SAME Kind of LOVE that HE POURED INTO OUR HEARTS.

Romans 5:5 (HCSB)
5 This hope will not disappoint ⌊us⌋, because God’s love has been poured out in our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us.

Titus 3:5-8 (NASB)
5 He saved us, not on the basis of deeds which we have done in righteousness, but according to His mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewing by the Holy Spirit,
6 whom He poured out upon us richly through Jesus Christ our Savior,
7 so that being justified by His grace we would be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.
8 This is a trustworthy statement; and concerning these things I want you to speak confidently, so that those who have believed God will be careful to engage in good deeds. These things are good and profitable for men.

Galatians 3:11 (CSBBible)
11 Now it is clear that no one is justified before God by the law, because the righteous will live by faith.

Galatians 2:16 (HCSB)
16 know that no one is justified by the works of the law but by faith in Jesus Christ. And we have believed in Christ Jesus so that we might be justified by faith in Christ and not by the works of the law, because by the works of the law no human being will be justified.
