the people had different views on Jesus. Jesus does not condemn them for their different ideas.
I disagree. An accurate view of Jesus is very important. He was more than just a prophet and healer. (as you know)

False doctrines were popping up faster than weeds in a corn field.
They need a standard to measure by.

You need to remember that they didn't have all the tools we have today.
They didn't even have a New Testament until they put one together.
That was part of the standardization process.
the tools we have today dont seem to be working. we are more divided than ever and our biggest churches are the most corrupt.

i think the the church was stronger before they started all these creeds, rules and doctrines. i also dont think people needed everything written down back then. i have more trust in a wisdom keeper than a scribe.

history and facts show that is eactly when all the problems started.

You are arguing like an atheist.
If the old fathers of the church who deemed to slaughter those they labeled heretics didn't want their evil acts to be recalled in future they shouldn't have committed them in the name of our God that was watching.

I think it is because human ego thinks to coral God as something they can define in human words. And make a property of a cleverly worded denominational ideology.
Jesus is the rock upon which the church of God's grace was built. What he told the elders of the temple when they thought to take him to task for his teaching the Father's grace and eternal salvation message was that the religion of men was corrupt. He did not come to earth to create a different religion. Jesus, God with us, came to bring a relationship to the faithful in whom his holy spirit would dwell in those whom he had always known before the foundation of the world.

The foundation of churches constructed by men shall fall. We're told God does not inhabit structures built by human hands. We know he does inhabit the living temple of the believe who is in Christ.
Therein lives the difference.

Demonstrate that to me using the Apostles Creed. Especially since many churches in different gospel preaching denominations use it at the start of the service with the congregation saying it from memory. Prove yourself herewith!!

Methinks you are not understanding what they say. Proof required!!!
Why? You'd not accept it.
Do you know the history of the Nicene creed?
Many churches use it to start their service and from memory. So what.

All the Jews gathered thought themselves righteous when calling for the death of Jesus and the release of Barabbas. Were they right? Jesus was a Heretic! By definition. The temple elders wanted him dead as a blasphemer, and wanted Rome to believe he was a seditionist.
Were they right?
Me thinks you repeat the Nicene creed and know not from whence it sprang.

Yes, saved by faith. But faith in what, or whom?
Do you continue to do this? I keep asking you questions and you keep ignoring them

if your not going to take the time to answer questions. Don;t think I will take any time to answer yours.

Again, Why did God want that hidden. Did God have a purpose?

Anyway, Abraham believed God had a plan. And through that faith he was saved. He was still saved by faith..
I don't know.
Haven't really studied it, or given it much thought.

Now answer my question. As promised.

Do you expect to see the Patriarchs in heaven?
If so, explain how they got there based on your view.
Did they "accept the Gospel" before they died?
Once again the Patriachs need to accept the Atonement of the LORD Jesus Christ if they are to be saved..

Could i at lest get that aknowledgement from you...
People need to accept the Atonement of the Lord Jesus Christ to be saved .. Yes or No????

At this present time, to be saved in the here and now, yes "People need to accept the Atonement of the Lord Jesus Christ to be saved".

In the past, before the gospel was presented, that's another question.
And I would add, that in the same way, God may have his own at the present time
that have a saving relationship with him, who have never heard the gospel.

However, this is only a theory. There is not much to base it on, other than
the principle that applies to the Patriarchs. Perhaps they will receive
in the same way they did. How did they from your perspective?

Could I get an acknowledgement from you on that?

True.
165. aión
aión: a space of time, an age
Original Word: αἰών, ῶνος, ὁ
Part of Speech: Noun, Masculine
Transliteration: aión
Phonetic Spelling: (ahee-ohn')
Definition: a space of time, an age
Usage: an age, a cycle (of time), especially of the present age as contrasted with the future age, and of one of a series of ages stretching to infinity.

Revelation 20:14
Then Death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death, the lake of fire.
That's not true.
....Then show us where those interpretations were of record prior to the 1960's?

No.
You don't have to accept the Biblical evidence.

This hopefully will help members who are distracted by the invocation of the term, "new age", so as to dismiss sound Biblical evidence concerning Soteriology or any faith studies topic.
The "new age" began as far as the people of Christ are concerned the moment our Lord and Savior drew his last breath on the cross and said, "It is finished".

That promise only stands in this lifetime, Once you pass this lifetime, Your chance to call out is gone.

Hell is eternal. It is made for Satan and his angels.. All who reject christ in this lifetime will join him there, day and night forever. There will be weepeing and nashing of teeth.
Hebrews 9:27 - And as it is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment. You are correct. No second chances after this lifetime.
