This is true. A careful examination of TULIP shows that it really another Gospel in which *whosoever* is changed to *the elect* and the sacrifice of Christ on the Cross is also limited to *the elect*. As far as God is concerned that is an abomination, since it contradicts His Gospel: Paul, a servant of Jesus Christ, called to be an apostle, separated unto the gospel of God (Rom 1:1)
Christians should never forget that the Gospel is God s Gospel (and also called *the Gospel of God*) and we have no right or authority to modify it by one iota. Just one verse from Revelation refutes Calvinism (Rev 22:17):
And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.
ahem......the term 'calvinisim' was not known when Paul wrote that.
Paul was referring to all apostate teaching.
How can you be a baptist and not believe at least 4 of the 5 points? I'm sure you agree with the Solas and the Trinity, and differ with me on Eschatology. I see a hatefulness in your posts that does not reflect well on you. I'm sure y0u can do better.

As far as my 'hatefulness' yea, I hate all false teachers that peddle another gospel. I'm pretty sure that Jesus did too . . .

Nicolaitans are any group that seeks to 'conquer the people' with false teaching, like you do.
It can't understand how a Christian of today can tie his faith back to some Renaissance patriarch that held to most of the doctrine of their parent the RCC. Calvin, Luther and all their cohorts spun off the Catholic Church and carried on with most of its false doctrine. If they would have just started over from scratch, realizing antichrist's ideals were permeating their doctrines, they might have found the true path.

Actually the council of Orange in 529 AD, actually favored the doctrines of grace and God's sovereignty in salvation. It was the council of Trent that made the errors in that religion today, refusing to back down from their false teaching.
Calvinists love our patriarchs.....I'll bet most of those who oppose calvinism have no idea that the patriarchs THEY are devoted to were actually calvinists. Joke is on them.

It's just the Bible that they hate. I mean, they are okay with the 'verses' they just don't buy them without Dork's take on them. They have to viewed through the filter of unbelief.
The doctrines of faith do not depend on one falling and they all fall.....each doctrine stands with the rest or can be discussed separately. I wish you actually had better information on this. Do you believer in universal salvation or do you believe that the atonement is effective only for beiievers? That is the L in Tulip. How about the P, preservation of the saints...once saved always saved. would like to know without sarcasm if we can meet on at least these 2 points.
