Apparently it is you who have no idea of the contents of the Bill of Rights or the Constitution. Slavery was protected by the Constitution.

Article I, Section 9, US Constitution.

The Migration or Importation of such Persons as any of the States now existing shall think proper to admit, shall not be prohibited by the Congress prior to the Year one thousand eight hundred and eight, but a Tax or duty may be imposed on such Importation, not exceeding ten dollars for each Person.

In 1808, the U.S. Congress could legally prohibit the Migration and Importation of Persons without regard to the existing to the laws of the States. To claim it was protected by the U.S. Constitution is why you need to listen and learn, these men stopped slavery in less than 40 years when the Bible had almost two thousand years to stop it. So was Christianity preventing it or promoting it?

All one has to do is look at our leaders.. Rome fell because they were divided, I am sure no one thought rome could fall because it was so powerful.

The lying, the cheating (big bird had to go to florida to teach them how to count) The HATE is almost beyond repentance for our nation. I love it, But I am afraid it will not be here much longer.

If it keeps going, It makes sense why the US is not part of the final kingdoms. It is either destroyed militarily, Crashed and destroyed herself. Or is part of the 1/3 of the earth which is destroyed by nuclear attack.

News bulletin. 1776 and 1787 come before 1808.

Slaves were not allowed to be imported into the U.S. after 1808. 1808 did not outlaw slavery in the U.S. You are either a revisionist or ignorant. I'm choosing the later, which is better for you as it makes you not a liar.

See again Article 4 section 2 of the Constitution.

Exactly.......no matter how one slices and dices the U.S. has one of the two following destinies......

a. Is one of the "ALL" nations gathered against Jerusalem to battle that God seeks to destroy
b. Is no longer a nation because she has already fallen and been destroyed

My view....the latter........as tragic as that may be in the eyes of every American.........!!

In certain context, as how I believe you are saying, this is unhappily true, but I have always hated this so-called folk wisdom.

I have seen a very unequal person put all others to shame with wisdom of the Holy Spirit. It is sad but those others were never even aware of it....still are not unless they have changed their ways.
