You are not correct in your assessment....

HELL enlarges itself WITHOUT MEASURE and the words MANY and FEW are clear when it comes to who busts hell wide open and or those who are saved......!!
And your scriptures that refute my assessment are?

Germany or Europe is not just about Luther and Calvin. As the history is not just about Pelagius, Arminius and Augustin (or Spurgeon).

You are right, Luther was really into grace. Who is not?
Really, now you accuse of pride? You just can't help being mean about it all. Maybe you need a break from all this chat

Luther also into the sovereignty of God and how that sovereignty affects salvation.
And since this particular topic goes nowhere I am bored already.

What is your response on my statement about many of the salvation scriptures are referring to deliverance we receive here on earth?
That, with all due respect, you've been hoodwinked with Primitive Baptist teachings. Please don't tell me you got that on your own -- from years of study -- "you and your bible" -- you got it from the Primitive Baptists you hang out with. This is a well known teaching to those who know about PB's, it is the "time salvation" heresy. No offense intended.

IF YOU DON"T MEAN TO GIVE OFFENSE..........THEN DON'T GIVE OFFENSE!
Giving some cowardly excuse like "sorry" shows only that you did mean it but hope to avoid being reported.

At least own up to your bad taste.

Do you really think I have any need to insult you?
Obviously. :)

What good can it bring to me.
Exactly my point.

You know only English and you learn what English people gave you in your American Christianity.
Oh, I know only English. OK! And here come your insults again, lol!

Yes, you know everything and where I and all other Americans get everything. We Americans, you've shamed us all, time and again trofimus.

I mean, like, I never read any other views. Ever. I don't even think there are any, are there? ;)

There, calvinism vs arminianism are prevailing views so you do not know (or worse - do not care) about other possibilities from Germany, from Bohemia etc.
"There." Like you know everything about over here, uh, LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You see how smug that is, trofimus, how arrogant you are? That's why I call you a know it all. God will humble you, that is for certain.

Spare me. I've been through several courses of theology. Schleiermacher, Barth, Tillich, Kierkegaard to name a few I recall reading and with some emphasis on Higher Criticism. That and I'm well read to this day. But none of that matters to anything outside of Scripture and knowing God.

See, this is you, you think you know everything and everyone else. Americans? They're unlearned fools because you read a few books.

I do not mean it as insult, if you feel it is, then the problem may lie in you being proud.
Yes, it's all me, I'm apparently arrogant. Shame on me for being everything you assumed, I'm so underneath you, your highness. :)

Hey, tell you this, I still stick to Scripture. You? Not so much. You're too learned for that. You should, trofimus become a fool so you may become one eighth as wise as you pretend to be.

You two have to quit sniping at each other and get out the canon of SCRIPTURE and just shoot each other with THAT. From what I have seen, you both appear to think that is the proper use of God's word.

I am surprised by you reaction. Do you really think that Spain, Denmark, Russia, italy etc do not have any thinkers and everything is just about Luther, Calvin, Zwingli and English reformation? There are so many possibilities, views and Scripture explanations. It only takes time and will to search over one's cultural horizon.

But anyway, will you answer my question, how is somebody who does not have any choice guilty? i asked three times and you avoid to respond.

You need to start owning up to your errors and stop worrying about others, hon. Men are going to go after it with one another, if that offends you, then read something else. We're OK. Thanks. :)

What other scripture supports this concept that the narrow and broad path both have the elect?
The church that Jesus set up has from the beginning and even unto this day has always been a small group and few in number and referred to as , the little flock. the remnant etc. The strait gate and narrow way is referencing the church as a few. Most of God's children are believing the few is all that are going to heaven based upon the few in this scripture. Jacob, who's name was changed by God to be called Israel, is a like figure of the elect of God that can not be numbered there are so many of them.

So, when God refers to Abraham's offspring, they are not all Israel that are of Israel, but when referencing Jacob's offspring, it is referencing all the elect?

No use trying to catch me out or get me involved with some nonsense about this Christian or that "christian" Years of study, covered a lot of ground, if not all of it. So I suggest you try another forum, one that might wecome your compative nature. You certainly won't lack for sparring partners.

Pardon my intervening, but God has given all mankind a free choice to choose how he wants to live his/her life here on earth, but not in their choice to choose their eternal salvation, that is by God's sovereign grace. Man/woman makes his/her choices based upon their fleshly nature until God regenerates them and put his Spirit within them. So they become guilty by their own choices and God does not predestine their choices.

trofimus, what does the Scriptures say to this question of yours; "how is somebody who does not have any choice guilty ? "

Where in Scripture can you prove everyone has a choice, and that salvation is clinched by man's decision? That is where your question logically has to end. Since this is true, we have yet another dilemma to your unfairness mantra, Romans 9:20.

It is evident that not everyone had a chance to be in a position to cast a deciding vote -- you've reduced the Gospel down to man deciding his way into heaven, or not. That's simpleton thinking bro.

Yes, now to your question more precisely; The Biblical answer is the whole world is guilty before God; Romans 3:19. Do I understand that fully? No. Do I accept it? Yes. Thus my worldview is Biblical.

ASV Romans 5: within them. So they become guilty by their own choices and God does not predestine their choices.
People are born guilty....born to die in their sins.........to be saved is to be saved from somthing. No sin, no salvation necessary.
ABC's of the doctrine of salvation.

12. Therefore, as through one man sin entered into the world, and death through sin; and so death passed unto all men, for that all sinned: Romans 5:12

And you ignored my question for the 4th time.

So I ask again: "How is somebody, who does not have any choice, guilty?"

If you are afraid of being challenged, then its probably you who should leave public forums.
