there is a time scale problem nobody talks about. the pace of cellular evolution by random genetic mutation is waaaay slower than the speed at which environmental changes occur -- take for example wooly mammoth, it is presumed that animals 'adapted' to ice-age conditions and became thicker-skinned and furry and their blood changed to prevent clotting in cold environments.. and then again to adapt to warmer environs in inter-glacial periods, losing the fur, thinning the hide, changing the blood and the pores of skin etc. all by natural selection through random accumulation of individual beneficial mutations.

here's the issue: climate changes like ice ages seem to occur over periods of a few thousand years, maybe tens of thousands. random genetic mutations & natural selection takes place over millions & tens and hundreds of millions of years, a thousand times longer, 10,000 times longer than necessary for such adaption to 'keep up' with the pace of the changing environment. by the time a normal pachyderm population could have 'evolved' into a wooly, cold-ready version, 10 ice ages would have passed, 100 ice-ages, 1,000 ice-ages. ((accepting for sake of argument the time scales inferred from geology etc))

no way.
that paradigm requires creatures to already be slowly adapting to change 10 million years before such change begins to even happen.
these changes have to be already built-in in the dna otherwise no creature could ever randomly adapt in time to survive the pressure that selects the changes. the picture that makes sense is that the Creator has designed the creature to be ready for such climactic change and for such changes to be triggered across the whole population relatively simultaneously.

try floating this to the next person who tells you animals randomly evolve to adapt in some monte carlo method :)

or, give them example of birds, thought to be evolved from flightless lizards. random mutation is gradual process -- how do the first proto-birds with only barely little grotesque stubs of wings survive and learn to fly? the one-out-of-a-billion mutated lizard starts jumping off cliffs, still unable even to glide? and is super attractive to females because of its mutated, strange appearance and apparent suicidal behavior? such mutations aren't even beneficial until 10 million generations later. 99.99% of mutation is not beneficial, vast majority of mutations seen in nature affect reproduction making the creature unable to have children and pass on their deformity, and are definitely not more sexually attractive to 'normal' creatures. the whole process sounds clever, but is implausible & mathematically prohibitive without ever even going into the details of cellular changes.
this proof from posthuman can be a powerful "blackmail" against evolutionism

even with transition fossils, those fossils won't be able to do anything against the sheer might of posthuman's mathematics here. those fossils will only exist as another "design possibility" and nothing more, nothing less

Why are you picking a fight?

I will stand and point out lies because I don't like pretentious people who pretend to know what they are spouting off However, I have already stated that evolution is not the topic of this thread.
You just keep harpying about it day after day

This is my last reply to you on the matter.

No one can change your mind but God anyway.

James 3

13 Who is wise and understanding among you? Let him show by good conduct that his works are done in the meekness of wisdom. 14 But if you have bitter envy and [h]self-seeking in your hearts, do not boast and lie against the truth. 15 This wisdom does not descend from above, but is earthly, sensual, demonic. 16 For where envy and self-seeking exist, confusion and every evil thing are there. 17 But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy.

I am not picking a fight. I am just showing you what GOD thinks of Man's wisdom, especially evolution.

I believe in the BIBLE,

You believe in man's wisdom over the Bible.

Everything HE CREATED was in it's ADULT STAGE, including the Universe.

SO YOUR BIG BANG THEORY, is SEVERELY FLAWED.

Only a certain section of it.

It's like saying the Crusades should condemned all Christains as false.

Or all Christians are Catholic.

Evoluntionary theory has many components and some I don't agree with. Others just explains the natural world. A world that God controls.

To me "natural selection" means God controlled selection because I believe God controls nature.

For people who want to buy into the lie that God doesn't exist or is a distant entity that doesn't care about the earth "nature" and True science are enemies to their religion.

True science studies the natural laws of this Earth God has established to run it.

We are given the Bible to explain the spiritual laws, yet we struggle to understand the natural laws of our world.

If we( Christians) can't be honest and accurate on the things that can be see (natural laws, like how adaptation happens based on natural selection)) why should anyone listen when we speak of unseen things or things only seen with spiritual eyes (ex: Gospel that's Jesus blood is enough to wash you clean of all your sins)?

People who spout false science and lies shows lack of discernment and destroys their testimony.
.it's all an attempt to cause bickering and strife.

I state this not to continue the fight but to explain why I stand and speak up at all when I see blantant lies.

I could let the lie stand but would Jesus do that, allow people to believe a lie to keep the peace?

God doesn't create seedlings on the first day

adult trees are created
Which to me explains why people say "billions of years, God created the earth as an adult planet, not a baby one.

If you waited for it to happen without dvine guidance, I believe it would never happen. Just as life would not exist without catalyst. Otherwise the activation energy is too high for chemical reactions to happen and life would not be possible. Catalyst hold the molecule or molecule together and makes them close enough to react or helps tear them apart. Almost like an Atomic level matchmaker or divorce attorney. After the reaction happens they return to their pre reaction stage to do it again.

God is our divine catalyst. He makes spiritual life happen and is the breathe/spirit that moves through all living things. God breathed life into dust to make Adam. He is the Light of the world.

We should all seek to walk in His light through prayer and humbleness.

Evolution WRONGLY SAYS One totally different SPECIES PRODUCED a totally DIFFERENCE SPECIES, and ALL WE HAVE TO DO IS FIND THE MISSING LINKS. Like a Dog giving birth to a Cat, like great ape giving but Human Being, ETC.
no one thinks a dog gives birth to a cat.

the idea is that something like both a dog and like a cat ((i don't even know if these are considered in the same tree)) had children some of which were ever so slightly more catlike and some of which were ever so slightly doglike. after 100,000 iterations of some of the slightly more doglike offspring getting together and some of the slightly more catlike offspring doing the same, the slightly more catlike eventually become a whole lot more catlike and hardly resemble the more doglike branch anymore. a million generations later you can't even tell they came from the same ancestors hundreds of millions of years prior.

one of the reasons the world ridicules us instead of listening is that we tend to speak as if we have no idea what we're talking about.

there are over 300 recognized breeds of dog in the world today. how many breeds of dog did Moses take on the ark? or did he only have some kind of wolf?

SO YOUR BIG BANG THEORY, is SEVERELY FLAWED.

lol big bang cosmology has absolutely zero to do with biological evolution.

and in fact, the crux of big-bang cosmological models is that the evidence of observation of the heavens indicates that the entire universe had a definite beginning both in time and in space.

in the beginning God created the heavens and the earth
(Genesis 1:1)

this is purely secular observational science concluding that God's word is correct. i don't believe we have to hate knowledge in order to be believers living by faith :)

the heart of the discerning acquires knowledge,
for the ears of the wise seek it out.
(Proverbs 18:15)
and not at all to accuse you of hating knowledge, brother!
i'm just saying that it's wise to keep our mouths shut when we really don't have knowledge and understanding about what is being said - to seek out knowledge and not to presume that everything we hear from behind a pulpit is correct, particularly when it concerns things the person preaching really has no expertise in.
i know where you got your views about these things from; i've heard those sermons and i've met and talked with the atheists who say some of them too. and i've also sat under completely God-hating teachers with respect for facts who explained in great detail to me that those fanciful ideas about the origin of life are rubbish.

Ariel and i aren't denying God; we were only trying to help you, by explaining that some of your ideas about science are not accurate representations of the conclusions man has reached from studying this universe.

He that believes in the son is having everlasting life.....<----NOT temporal and or earned!
Could someone who believes they can lose their salvation (I just lost it at the store a couple days ago...) answer this?

WHY does it say HATH eternal life. PRESENT TENSE? Why does it say that, if we dont even know if we have it until we go to the other side and see where Jesus puts us in?

Btw if I believed like that ^ I would stop being a christian immediately. Because im not going to waste my life here GAMBLING my salvation to see if I did good enough to earn it, only to then not make the cut in the end.

I believe you need to KNOW present tense that you're saved. Right now. Not gamble and wait and see
