Basic biology states "life comes from life" along with "all living things are made of cells"

Logically if you truly believe this, then how does life come from nonliving things without a divine Creator?

Science can't answer that. People can give theories but in the end creation is based on faith be it faith in God or faith in an aethistic, humanistic world view or some folktale told by other religions like the Gaea or the giant turtle.

Pure science allows you to test your hypothesis.

Do you really want to test if God exists?

Jesus doesn't recommend it, but we(humans) have free will to follow Satan and jump off that cliff if we so choose.

Wood burns in the fire, how many brands will be pulled out as John Wesley said he was when some people burnt his family home and he was saved as a small child?

If you are "walking/treading on eggshells", you are trying very hard not to upset someone. It means you are doing something very carefully without offending someone or drawing unnecessary attention. ~from google search on the idiom "walking on eggshells"

we are saved by grace, not by works

--> that means, we can come to God boldly to his throne, without "walking on eggshells" or "trying very hard by human effort not to upset God" (who loves and forgives you, but patiently guides you as well)
Yep I stomp into his presence and then jump on His lap and telling him about my day through prayer alot.

That's what good dad's do, give you a hug and tell you that you are loved, and God is the best Heavenly Father.

It's sad that many people don't believe that and approach with fear and guilty consciences like the prodigal son. However like the father in the story, God will throw a party for every child who turns their back on the world and return home to Him.

Evolution is fine the problem is aethist scientist ignorantly trying to use bad science to refute the Bible and ignorant Christians (some who still think the earth is the center of the universe and the sun goes around it and the earth is flat) claiming that the Bible says things it doesn't.

I may not be the smartest person in the world but I believe in natural selection and true evolutionary theory. This coming from a Bible believing Christian who reads the Bible from Genesis to Revelation at least yearly and a former high school science teacher.
so what you are saying is, we don't have to worry that it's Satan trying to weaken our full faith in God, by introducing doubt like "what about evolution"

what you are saying is: know the bible, and you'll be fine

someone told me that there are MANY ways nonliving organic material becomes living

I suspect that they use the word "many" to intimidate us as in, we can't refute all possibility, and to dismiss the possibility would be ignorant.

but still, ariel seems very knowledgable

@posthuman, your the science guy, what are some weakness in evolution, before those secular scientist intimidate us with their technicalities that can make us feel ignorant if we try to refute them.
there is a time scale problem nobody talks about. the pace of cellular evolution by random genetic mutation is waaaay slower than the speed at which environmental changes occur -- take for example wooly mammoth, it is presumed that animals 'adapted' to ice-age conditions and became thicker-skinned and furry and their blood changed to prevent clotting in cold environments.. and then again to adapt to warmer environs in inter-glacial periods, losing the fur, thinning the hide, changing the blood and the pores of skin etc. all by natural selection through random accumulation of individual beneficial mutations.

here's the issue: climate changes like ice ages seem to occur over periods of a few thousand years, maybe tens of thousands. random genetic mutations & natural selection takes place over millions & tens and hundreds of millions of years, a thousand times longer, 10,000 times longer than necessary for such adaption to 'keep up' with the pace of the changing environment. by the time a normal pachyderm population could have 'evolved' into a wooly, cold-ready version, 10 ice ages would have passed, 100 ice-ages, 1,000 ice-ages. ((accepting for sake of argument the time scales inferred from geology etc))

no way.
that paradigm requires creatures to already be slowly adapting to change 10 million years before such change begins to even happen.
these changes have to be already built-in in the dna otherwise no creature could ever randomly adapt in time to survive the pressure that selects the changes. the picture that makes sense is that the Creator has designed the creature to be ready for such climactic change and for such changes to be triggered across the whole population relatively simultaneously.

try floating this to the next person who tells you animals randomly evolve to adapt in some monte carlo method :)

or, give them example of birds, thought to be evolved from flightless lizards. random mutation is gradual process -- how do the first proto-birds with only barely little grotesque stubs of wings survive and learn to fly? the one-out-of-a-billion mutated lizard starts jumping off cliffs, still unable even to glide? and is super attractive to females because of its mutated, strange appearance and apparent suicidal behavior? such mutations aren't even beneficial until 10 million generations later. 99.99% of mutation is not beneficial, vast majority of mutations seen in nature affect reproduction making the creature unable to have children and pass on their deformity, and are definitely not more sexually attractive to 'normal' creatures. the whole process sounds clever, but is implausible & mathematically prohibitive without ever even going into the details of cellular changes.

The Cell Theory Is a Unifying Principle of Biology
The cell theory states that all biological organisms are composed of cells; cells are the unit of life and all life comes from preexisting life. The cell theory is so established today that it forms one of the unifying principles of biology.

https://www.sciencedirect.com/topics/agricultural-and-biological-sciences/cell-theory

I have people often lack logic.

If you believe cell theory, how can you believe that living things come from nonliving things without twisting simple logic?

Anyway I believe God created the world as he says in Gensis 1. How long it took? I don't know if seven days means seven tbilion years or a seven blinks of God's eyes.

Genesis isn't meant to be a science textbook however it does describe plant growth in baby detail. New land is created by volcanoes and moss like plants do ppear before fruit/seed bearing trees.

The Bible has a lot of true science in it but the world prefers it's Jewish myths.

Within our bodies God has already placed an immune defense response to ever disease known on the planet. I learned that in my microbiology class..no mention of God, the teacher just said we were born with cells that could be triggered to produce a defense against the diseases of the world.

Sometimes people's immune system malfunctions maybe due to diet, damage by environment (which can cause cancer), etc.

However to know that equips us to fight against pathogens of this world?

I find it faith building.

We have carbon dating, but I question the relability....yes the dirt you tested is very old but is that truly the flesh of the animal or a true date for when the animal was live?

Why does the earth appear so old?

Why was Adam full grown in the Bible and not a baby when we hear about him?

Which came first the chicken or the egg? God says two chickens (aka birds) to make all other birds of it's kind....evolution/natural selection explains the diversity of birds we see.

Evolutionary theory can also explains how we can have so many different humans from just Adam and Eve.

Evolution isn't the enemy.

The false belief is that we can have life or creation with out God's divine hand upon the world. Stan loves telling that one and mixing it with evolutionary theory or anything else to make people doubt God.

It does not get any plainer..........Our righteous works have ZERO to do with Salvation!

Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;
Paul wasn't writing about individual salvation but rather the body of Christ. Titus 3 begins with the following:

1 Put them in mind to be subject to principalities and powers, to obey magistrates, to be ready to every good work,
2 To speak evil of no man, to be no brawlers, but gentle, shewing all meekness unto all men.
3 For we ourselves also were sometimes foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving divers lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, and hating one another.
4 But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared,

5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;

8 This is a faithful saying, and these things I will that thou affirm constantly, that they which have believed in God might be careful to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable unto men.

14 And let ours also learn to maintain good works for necessary uses, that they be not unfruitful.

People prefer Jewish myths to God's truth even when Jesus was speaking it.....

How much is your understanding of the old testament based upon what the Jewish rabbis traditionallly taught and believed?

How many so called scholars of the Bible recognize the prophecy of the Seed of Eve in Genesis 3 refers to Jesus defeat of Satan?

Or that Able was the first prophet mentioned im the Bible?

These scholars don't even know the basics of the Bible much less evolutionary theory, yet their wisdom provokes fights and bitterness showing forth where they gain it.

How many people know that in the story of Abraham, others heard directly from God besides this pillar of faith?

A pillar that lied about being married to his half sister Sarai (claiming her as a sister and not wife to avoid being killed) and had sex with Hagar because they lacked faith that God would fulfill His supernatural promise to give them a Son and raise a nation more numerous than the stars.

How can that happen if Abraham was killed? He had no reason to lie. Yet God's grace is greater than our human fears.

God spoke to Hagar. (The other of Ismaeul who the Muslims claim descent from) he spoke to what many call pagan Kings but who respected God enough to bless His prophet Abraham.

People need to take the Jewish rabbis false lens off the scriptures and walk with Jesus like those men on the road to Emmaus. The veil is torn. Why do people seek to recreate it?

is it weird that kenosis-preaching-dude hit 'like' on this verse, seeing that God explicitly tells us here the fullness of deity dwells bodily in Christ ?
I understand how your entire religion hinges on the lie that the Pharisees were trying to "earn" salvation by obeying God, that God's Laws are against us, and that God the Son never really came in the flesh and gave His Life for me..

You have your Christ, an immortal god with powers no human has, and I have mine which "came in the Flesh" and gave His Life for me.

You have your religion in which the Pharisees were obeying God in their attempt to get to heaven and I have the Word's of the Christ of the Bible who said they taught for doctrines the commandments of man, not God.

You have your religion in which God created laws that were against us, and your Christ nailed them all to the cross. I have the Word of God which became Flesh, but not before He created Laws that were "For us".

So my Christ did teach the same things as the Word of God, and as the Man Jesus, and as the Risen Christ.

The Same yesterday, today, and forever.

While yours taught one thing as God, another things as God/Man, and yet another as the Risen God who really never died in the first place, because an immortal God can't die.

WE serve two different Christ's. Mine came in the Flesh.

this is about Jesus, dude, not about pharisees.

the gospel, dude, is about faith in the work of Christ, not about hating pharisees.

do try and keep up :)
