yeah, we are. your suggestion that the federal government should be overthrown and the union dissolved into a collection of individual fascist states under a supreme novemumvirate emperor is pretty clearly promoting disunity.
we're unified by our common belief in freedom from tyranny. just like the original settlers who all called each other heretics but found a way to peacefully co-exist as a collective whole in democratic representative federal governance.

when the propaganda machine is daily telling you how fractured everyone is do you think that's assuaging the situation or agitating it?

maybe it's my math background lol but especially in the BDF i often wish threads would start off with a list of definitions we can agree on for the purpose of discussion. seems to me that we've often got a couple of sides arguing with each other using words each side defines in totally different ways, so what's really going is nobody having any idea what they're talking about.

That’s the downside of forum communication. All kinds of different intellectual levels, education and background in general are participating. None of us know anything about the others education and background, yet we’re expecting to have a civilized and respectful conversation based on logic arguments.

But, like my late granddad down in Evergreen used to say...”D*** them big city livin folks, them ain’t thinking straight unless I smack dem upside the head”. 😛

As well, you make the reason for seceding based on morality which really makes no sense to me, is there any state that you know of
where there is a uniform morality in place?

Canada was far more divided than the US and perhaps still is, at least here it is completely a cultural group of people who all live in one province which is a far more logical basis for seeking separation.

You don't have to be mentally ill to be a Democrat. Registering as a Democrat will start that process off in and of itself.
