there's no point in responding to anything else in your post because it's all predicated on your lies about me.
you're railing against a person who does not exist, strawmen of your own imagination.
and right. ow your doing it because you took Jesus out of context, omitting very relevant things He said, and i did nothing more than give the complete citation. for that - for speaking the truth - you bring false witness.

wwhy?

I bid all good health, wealth, peace and all else encompassed by the word, Shalom, but it is easier to say Shabbat Shalom...…...for the Sabbath, amen.

what you are saying is a lie; it is slander. i do not and have never said anything in the Bible 'wipes out' the rest
you know that, too. but you keep bearing false witness. why?
No Post, I am reading your posts and listening to what you are saying. You are preaching that this story makes Void much of what Moses said, Isaiah said, Ezekiel said and even what Jesus said as it pertains to His Holy Sabbath and the Pharisees.. It is not slander.

I'm not lying about your teaching, I'm not slandering you. I am addressing what you are saying, implying, teaching others through your religious preaching honestly, and as frank and truthful as I can be.

If this offends you, don't reply to my posts.

the truth is that you have slanderously said that i 'preach' things that i have not said, and you falsely accuse me of 'teaching' things that are not true, that i have not said.
You have most certainly said the Pharisees were following the "Letter of the law" and argued with me many times about it. You have most certainly said Jesus came to ""remove" God's instructions, nailing it to His Cross.. And you preach that He broke God's Commandments, namely His Holy Sabbath. You have most certainly said David wasn't punished for his sins.

All things which are not true according to God's Word. I didn't make you say these things. It is not just to be angry at me and calling me a liar for pointing them out.

But they did the same thing to the prophets, the Christ, and anyone who would dare bring their rpeach8ing into question.

As I have suggested before. You should check your own preaching before you slander others.

i have said that the traditions the pharisees added as tho commands did not appear out of nowhere but they came up with them by trying to interpret and scrupulously keep the law.
you fail to comprwhend what i say and you mischaracterize it slanderously.

You have most certainly said Jesus came to ""remove" God's instructions, nailing it to His Cross..
i said what the Bible says, that the Word became flesh and dwelt among us and was nailed to the cross. I've told you two dozen times to read Romans 6-8 because that is exactly my position, and quoted it to you three dozen times. over and over and over I told you, not one single jot needs to be removed for a man who has died to no longer be under law.

you're either stupid or a brazen, spiteful liar.

you preach that He broke God's Commandments, namely His Holy Sabbath
i've done nothing but quote the scripture and point out what Jesus Himself said in reply to the pharisees who accused Him of that.

you make false accusations instead of seeking the truth.

You have most certainly said David wasn't punished for his sins.
i said exactly what the Bible says and quoted it to you. I said, David's sin of rape, adultery and murder was removed, and not by the law but by the mercy of God in an amazing portrait of Christ.
instead of glorifying Him with me you absurdly floundered all over the place between denying that David even sinned and claiming the child was killed for the sin God had removed and saying David was spiritually stoned to death fulfilling the law, again for a sin God removed.

you spit whole cloth lies out either out of an evil heart or utter lack of understanding. and you don't repent. and you think you are a teacher for us.

why?

This is what happens when men try and use God's Word to justify sin, in this case, working on His Holy Sabbath.
Jesus worked on the Sabbath :) If it is a sin to do so, you make Him a sinner, and blow the gospel to smithereens.

We as people enjoy making and creating things. For example we paint a room in our house being creative... Now don't tell me that you don't spend time in that room after you have gone to the trouble to make it a place to be comfortable and beautiful.

To me it would be the same at God's creation He created man and then He made the Sabbath as a crowning touch to His week of creation now do you truly believe in your heart that God did not spend that time with all He created during that week or He went off to some dark corner and celebrated by Himself?
He celebrated with those that He loved.

="posthuman, post: 3732410, member: 170505"]i have said that the traditions the pharisees added as tho commands did not appear out of nowhere but they came up with them by trying to interpret and scrupulously keep the law.
you fail to comprwhend what i say and you mischaracterize it slanderously.
Matt. 15:
7 Ye hypocrites, well did Esaias prophesy of you, saying,
8 This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me.
9 But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.

John 8:
43 Why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear my word.
44 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.
45 And because I tell you the truth, ye believe me not.

You can preach that the Pharisees were trying to earn salvation by "having moral integrity : acting in strict regard for what is considered right or proper" regarding God's Laws. But it is a lie that both the Christ, and the Law and Prophets expose.

Calling me liar for exposing your preaching here is typical, expected, and Prophesied by the Christ. I was hoping for more from you, but not expecting it.

i said what the Bible says, that the Word became flesh and dwelt among us and was nailed to the cross. I've told you two dozen times to read Romans 6-8 because that is exactly my position, and quoted it to you three dozen times. over and over and over I told you, not one single jot needs to be removed for a man who has died to no longer be under law.

you're either stupid or a brazen, spiteful liar.
The scriptures do not preach, nor does the Christ preach that God's Word was destroyed on the Cross. Religious men tried to destroy it, but it Rose again. Religious man has been trying to kill the Word of God since Cain killed His "Christian" brother Abel.. But the Word of God made a show of them openly in that even though you preach God's Word was nailed to the Cross, it rose again. God's Word triumphed over you and the Mainstream Preachers of Christ's time who also tried to destroy it. Like the Christ said. "THINK NOT" that I came to destroy Myself, I came not to destroy, but to fulfill.

Exposing the error of this teaching that God's Word was destroyed on the cross is out of brotherly love, not hate. Being called a liar for exposing this truth is out of hate. Not hate for me, but for God's Word which expose the truth that religious man has been trying to destroy since satan deceived Eve..

There is no reason to continue. You will not accept or even discuss the many scriptures which bring your religion into question, and I can't omit the volumes of Scriptures necessary to believe your preaching.

I have done my part.

Jesus worked on the Sabbath :) If it is a sin to do so, you make Him a sinner, and blow the gospel to smithereens.
But Magenta, Jesus is my High Priest. He has been given duties to perform by His Father that I am not allow to do, or even try. Not because performing the duties of the Priesthood is a sin, but because He is the High Priest, not me. God has prepared instructions for His Priesthood, and He has prepared instruction for the people who the Priest Administers to.. Can I forgive sins? Can I shed my blood for your sins? Can I save a man?

So for me to attempt to perform duties specifically created for God's Holy Priesthood would be a sin. Would it not? Am I the Christ? Shall I exalt myself to the position of the High Priest just so I can "Work" on His Sabbath?

I mean no disrespect to you, I think you mean well and are a loving person, but this argument that Jesus performing His Priesthood duties on God's Holy Sabbath means I can golf the back nine, or make another 52 days worth of the blood of the beast a year just doesn't hold water with me. Biblically speaking I think it is a great deception designed to trick people into rejecting God's instruction, just like the serpent tricked Eve into rejecting God's instructions.

So no Magenta, I don't believe my High Priest performing the duties God commanded Him is a sin. I also don't believe my High Priest performing the duties God commanded Him gives me the right to reject the instructions He gave to me. And this belief doesn't blow the gospel to smithereens, at least in my view :)

A great question though.

it's the same reasoning that says, it's recorded that God did something, therefore a command that all men do the same is implicit, even though there is no record of Him giving such a command.

He surely has a purpose and a reason to not record any command to observe sabbath, before Exodus 16,
HE did not have to. Cain did not need to be told killing was an issue; he knew and nothing was recorded in regards to killing prior to that. For he; they were not that far removed from the image and likeness in which we were made.
It is rather simple. On Day six we were created and Day Seven we rested in Holy communion with the FATHER, because we were made in HIS image and likeness and HE rested. We could not help our selves being in HIS image and likeness.
and to not record any command to observe sabbath with the advent of Christ. why?
It is recorded. Jesus spoke of the Sabbath quite often in regards to not over regulating it. Not once saying it was done away with. As a matter of fact he said not one jot or tittle shall in no wise pass from the law or the prophets till all is fulfilled. All has not been fulfilled.

Then the writer of Hebrews emphatically states.
Heb 4:9 Therefore a Sabbath-rest is left for the people of God.
Heb 4:10 For* he who is entered into his rest has himself also rested from his works, as God did from his.

As GOD did from HIS is a direct comparison to the ceasing from physical labor that HE did in Genesis upon ending HIS work of creation.

Exod 20:8 Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.
Exod 20:9 Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work:
Exod 20:10 But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates:
Exod 20:11 For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.

At this stage in regards to your seasons I am flabbergasted that you would posts this. TO be confused as to what is spiritual work and physical is inexcusable at your perceived maturity.

to say that one has to keep the Sabbath to be saved is inexcusable. and a lie. there is no N.T. command to do so.

You Don't actually think this is sound reasoning do you?
No, I don't think it is sound reasoning. I was using it as an example to show how God doing something is not the same as God commanding us to do the same thing. The context was the question of whether God resting on the first Sabbath day was a commandment for us to do the same.

So I was giving an example to show how that is not good reasoning, not a good idea.

You are absolutely correct.
And to my knowledge no one has here.
However because we are saved we Worship GOD and not idols. We do not take the LORD'S name in vain. We keep Sabbath. We do not kill or bear false witness. We honor our fathers and our mothers. We do not steal, covet or commit adultery.
GOD is Love. Love fulfills the Law and as HE is so are we in this world. Because It is HE that works in us both to will and do HIS good pleasure. Christ in us the hope of Glory.

HE Blessed and hallowed it for who and for what?
There was no need for commandments we were made in HIS image and likeness. They kept it because they could not help themselves. Just like they did not kill or any other thing that is of GOD.
