If a 'form' of secession is not allowed, then war is the eventual outcome. I believe the best would be to do away with the Federal Supreme Court altogether. Let the States run their state through their own Supreme Court, which each state has.

The Federal Supreme Court has been nothing but a way to run the country by judiciary. Therefore, whoever controls the Supreme Court, controls the country. Of course the liberal left will go to war over this because this is the way they control the country. This is the way the tail wags the dog.

Quantrill
we've already had an attempted coup and the actions of those trying to 'play god' would not have been exposed if la clinton had been the expected recipient of the oval office

I would agree that the Supreme Court has become in many cases, a way to display a heavy hand against the constitution and 'create' law rather than interpret it

we do not need more proof of that other than the current actions of the democratic party

I see no reason to vote for the GOP either, other than to keep the dems out of power

This place is getting weird
this is the conspiracy and corruption forum. therefore, a couple of people made a wrong turn and landed here thinking it was the BDF

words have meaning and the meaning of the words regarding the title of this forum, convey to most reading them, that the op has placed his thoughts in the correct place

If God is okay with it then I see no reason why Christians should not have slaves. I think you are contradicting yourself now.

Well if you want to defend the south you better find a better argument than "slavery is fine with God."

Our servitude to God in no way compares to man having another man as a slave.

Slavery is inherently evil in the absolute universal complete sense, there are no mitigating circumstances.
I know full well the history so I do not need a lesson from you.

Vilifying the north to justify slavery is just as wrong. I really do not think you even understand what the flaws of the social gospel are.

Like I said find another argument.
Or, in other words, you recognize that God, Jesus Christ, the Bible, have nothing to say against slavery. But you say it is evil, so it must be evil.

Apparently you did need a lesson because you were wrong in what you assumed God said about slavery. And you never answered my questions. You avoid them and the Scripture I presented.

I don't vilify the north to justify anything. I vilify the north because they were the villians. But just as you know nothing of that war or slavery, other than what you have been told or want to believe, then both are a learning opportunity for you. Your knowledge of 'history' is tainted.

It is clear that it doesn't matter what the Bible or God says about slavery, you are going to hold to your wrong view. When you get to Heaven, perhaps you can instruct God on how He should have dealt with slavery. I'm sure He will be interested in your opinon.

I see. Well, as I mentioned in the first post, if there was ever a time to vote straight ticket Republican, this is the time. Everything you believe in as a Christian is threatened by the atheistic liberal left in the Democratic party.

Thus I encourage anyone I can to vote Republican this November.

Slavery is wrong and not supported by scripture. It is not what I say, the teachings, behaviour of Jesus make it clear no man can own another man like he owns a piece of furniture. Tell me how much would you pay for another human being to be in your service and denied their God given inalienable rights?

I tell you who needs a lesson in history it is you, you think slavery in the ancient world is somehow comparable to the slavery in the south.

Even then it was wrong, but Christians were called to endure it for the sake of the gospel. That in no way justifies what the south did to other human beings.

Admit that the south did not want to give up its mostly free labour.

Yet you have no response to the Scripture I gave you. Yet you refuse to tell me if you have been bought and paid for by the blood of Jesus Christ. Were you? Are you a slave of God and Jesus Christ.

Oh. You want the 'behaviour' of Jesus? How about this. Start with (Heb. 10:5-7). Which is a quote from (Ps. 40:6-8). Which addresses the Master/Slave relationship as told in (Ex. 21:1-11). When you see these verses, you will see that the Son took on Himself a body which placed Him in a servitude relationship with the Father. A slave. This He was willing to do, but He still did it.

So, how about it? Are you a slave of God and Jesus Christ? Does God own you? Are you too proud to be a slave of God?

You're not a 'former' history teacher are you? I think I have spoken to you before.

The Constitution was the law of the United States. Not just the South. Why do you want to blame the South?

Who told you the slave labor was 'free'. Do you know the cost of buying a slave? Housing a slave? Feeding a slave? Providing medical for the slave? You may not like 'slave' labor but don't call it 'free'.

Of course the South didn't want to give up its slave labor. It's economy was based on agriculture and slave labor. The north wanted to end the South's slave labor...not because the north loved the negro. Because they wanted to destroy the South.

The Bible is against you. God is against you. Jesus Christ is against you. The Constitution is against you. Yet you demand you are right. Yet you provide nothing but wanting to adhere to a 'higher law' which is nothing but 'your law'.

I find it ironic that you present the same faulty, biased, prejudicial, nonfactual thinking, similar to those who defend abortion and LGBT issues.

Scripture is clear we are all in equal in Christ.

I do hope you find the narrow path.

I am done..... but take note......

“We know that the law is good if one
uses it properly. We also know that law is made not
for the righteous but for lawbreakers and rebels,
the ungodly and sinful, the unholy and irreligious;
for those who kill their fathers
or mothers, for murderers, for adulterers and perverts,
for slave traders and liars and perjurers––
and for whatever else is contrary to the sound doctrine
that conforms to the glorious gospel
of the blessed God, which he entrusted to me.”

I never said all are not equal in Christ. That includes the master and the slave. Paul and Onesimus. Onesimus and Philemon. All are equal in Christ.

Menstealers in (1 Tim. 1:10) speaks to kidnapping. Which is why Paul returned Onesimus to Philemon. He didn't want to be a manstealer.

Good, I'm glad your done. Perhaps we can get back on topic of 'secession' instead of 'slavery'. The two are not synonymous, as much as you would like them to be.

What will happen if there’s a secession?

What states gonna secede?

What about foreign policies?

I don't know. What I do know is that if there is not some form of secession to allow people to gravitate to an area that allows them to live they way they want to live, under the type of government they want to, we are heading for a real civil war.

The South tried to act 'peacefully' and secede in 1861. But the north would not allow it. So, what the reaction would be, who can know. You see already how the left reacts when they sense they are losing power.

Personally, I think they should do away with the Supreme Court, which is nothing now but a tool of the Federal government to force the states, the whole country to obey its will. Allow the Supreme courts of the individual states decisions to stand. Allow the people of the states to vote and decide on how they want to live.

Concerning foreign policy, and military, and war, then that should always be left to Congress. This seems to me the safest form of secession. You still have a union, but the States are allowed to live more as they want to. If Mass. wants to allow abortions, then let them. If Texas doesn't want them, then don't. If Mass. wants to allow homosexuals to marry and adopt kids, then let them. If Texas doens't, then dont'.

Thus if someone from Mass. disagrees with what Mass. is doing and living under, then he can find a state that he agrees with and make a living there.

The divide is now too great in America for any hope of a united 'peace'. The beliefs are too opposite. They are impossible to bridge. Democrats have shown they are not only unwilling to live under any Republican government, but that they will do all they can to go against such a government, including violence.

It was due to the extreme rhetoric that the shooter tried to kill Republicans at a baseball practice. The Las Vegas shooter specifically targeted a Country Western concert knowing that country western folk are most always Republican and conservative. Yet everyone wants to say they have no motive for the shooting. That is a lie. They know what the motive was, they just don't want to admit it. Then there is Maxine Waters. Black democrat women encouraging targeting and violence upon Conservatives and any who voted for Trump. Thus you have your Antifa thugs attacking legal conservative demonstrations. And when they, the conservatives, fight back they are viewed as the evil ones. Conservatives are harassed by Water's thugs and not allowed to eat at restaurants in public.

And of course now with Kavanaugh Democrats stoop to a new low in searching for any dirt going all the way back to highschool days trying to smear the Supreme Court nominee. Their purpose is delay as everyone knows. Because they just can't see living under a Supreme Court that has a Conservative majority.

The liberal atheistic left is found in the Democratic party. There will be no unity between them and Conservative Republicans. The reason there is great divide politically, is because there is great divide among the people in America. And it is a divide created by our own government. What is the phrase everyone loves to say, and just beam with pride when doing it? "Diversity is our strength" What a lie that is. Diversity is killing the country. It is why there is no unity. It is why there will be no peace as long as we are forced to share the same government.

The only peaceful solution is too allow a secession of some sort so that people can live under the government that they want. I know many will say that will never happen. OK. Then expect the next Civil War, which will be a real Civil War, not just a War between the States.

As to our present experience, I would say for Christians, and Conservatives that if ever there was a time to vote straight ticket, this November this is the time. Every Democrat you put in office is against and will destroy what you believe in.

Hi Quantrill. (there must be a story behind that tag)
There are earthly 'authorities'. There are spiritual 'authorities'. When it comes to human politics, and knowing the media is not part of my Father's kingdom, I dismiss much of the media's spin and spew.
Full authority has been given to my Saviour. He commanded us not to be deceived more than once.
Some information enters the ears and eyes. Some enters directly to the heart. God looks on the heart.

Be peaceful. Be loved.

Hello, and yes there is a story behind it. One must do a study of history to find it however.

You are wise to dismiss the media. They are totally bias and have only one goal and that is the removal of any conservative and Christian influence over them.

Indeed, God is Omnipotent. And to Jesus Christ is given all authority. But the kingdoms of the earth have not yet become the kingdoms of God and Jesus Christ. And if God gives to us in America, a country where, in the political rule, His rule is exercised and allowed, then shouldn't we as Christians do what we can to protect it? To make sure it carries on? Shouldn't we vote? Shouldn't we voice our opinion vocally?

Can we not see that this war going on in our country, that has created stark division, is a product of the spiritual war going on in the heavenlies. Make no mistake, the heart of the nations, and states, and cities, are a spiritual warfare battleground. And this is why we are seeing such conflict with the Supreme Court candidate. The enemy senses much spiritutal damage.

Cheers for you considered reply, Quantrill. I will search and search for the meaning of your tag, you slippery puppy...
This website is filtering and scoping input. Our identities are known, and I am proud to stand for our Saviour. Sadly, the enemy uses our sin nature (internal) and the use of lies and diversions (the media) to pull people from the path of serving our purpose.

As individuals, Americans are great, in my experience; so blessed and sincere that the forces of death want to push them under. Under a pile of lies. Under a pile of discouragement. Under a pile of temptation. ~God Bless the American people. God looks on the heart, not the title, not the 'front', but on the heart. Can't hide that.
Rock on, Quantrill. LIGHT EXPOSES EVERYTHING.
