What's the bible say about tongues with out interpretation? I apologize. low energy lights and farsightedness do not make for good bible study after dark. But as I recall they're something like worthless?
Isn't' that the line from the black and white version of the day the earth stood still?

"26 What then shall we say, brothers and sisters? When you come together, each of you has a hymn, or a word of instruction, a revelation, a tongue or an interpretation. Everything must be done so that the church may be built up. 27 If anyone speaks in a tongue, two—or at the most three—should speak, one at a time, and someone must interpret. 28 If there is no interpreter, the speaker should keep quiet in the church and speak to himself and to God."

At least you admit it. But here is the secret. STOP TRYING TO DO IT YOURSELF, let GOD's LOVE that He put in you when you were Born Again, Rom. 5:5, be the SEED in your heart that produces an abundant harvest OF LOVE FOR HIM and the brethren, the exact same kind of LOVE HE PUT IN YOU. In other words YOU DO NOT GET THE CREDIT, YOU GIVE ALL THE GLORY TO HIM.

I know you all have Bibles look up love and every passage where Jesus talks about it and reconcile love with works. You'll see the most important sign the Holy Spirit is within you is love. No hoops or barriers or works required. Love comes with the salvation package or you'r doing something wrong. nite nite, cali.
Actually it even goes deeper than that....John states, "The Spirit is the truth"
Two definite articles and a "be" verb makes it very clear that they are one and the same....
Funny thing, reading through the thread and wondering who is being addressed....lovely thing that is...being able to put people on ignore............man it saves a lot of stress and keeps me from getting banned.....hah
