That's a real shame. Group think efforts underway.
I hope it never gets to that in the U.S. .
I know families who's home schooled children ended up getting scholarships to the Ivy League colleges of their choice. Inspiring to say the least.

This doesn't mean America isn't in trouble in its own right though. When a family sued an elementary school so their natural born gender child could use the opposite sex bathroom because he "identified" at the age of six as a girl, and the parents won, that was more grease on the slippery slope of the antithesis push. As in, evil is good. Good is evil. Moral is immoral. Immoral must be tolerated.

Apostate denominational churches don't help in stemming that tide either. Those that perform marriages for homosexual couples in the church. Allow transgender to serve in offices in the church.
I don't yet think news has arrived where a Christian school conceded to a transgender agenda though.
I think America is generally the exception to the rule when it comes to Christians being able to live freely in their faith without governmental restrictions. When you look through history you can't really find anything but persecution for true born-again believers, even in Europe. The past could of hundred years have given some relief to us and I hope it can carry on.

Jennie-Mae: I agree. I dont think you can make anyone "turn gay or trans". It is not something these people ever wanted. They have been in the closet for a long time and now that they are out, people are scared. They do struggle and it takes alot of compassion to see that. Many people are just afraid ... afraid of what they do not understand. Some of you will be the parent/s of a gay or even a transgendered child.

actually, they are well documented in the Bible

try the short essay...Romans 1

renew your mind by the word of God and do not accept the lies the devil speaks through the mouths of those who eschew God and mock His creation

the Bible says that perfect love, God's love, casts out fear

what motivates you to write such nonsense?

This is the great lie and bullying many Christians are faced with today.

The idea that if you disagree with a behavior (you name the behavior) and say that it is sin, then that means you are intolerant, fear and hate the person doing the sinful behavior.

This is a lie and a bullying tactic. I feel sad and I love those people, but that doesn't change the fact they are engaging in sinful behavior. And worse, encouraging others, EVEN CHILDREN!!!!! that the behavior is good.

If my son said " Dad, I'm a drug addict" or alcoholic, or homosexual, or a transgender, my response would be exactly the same.

I'd say, " You know I love you, and NOTHING can change that, but what you are doing is wrong and sinful".

I agree with a lot of what you are saying, as long as people are capable of separating the sinful behavior from the person.

That’s my concern. We’re saying we hate the sin, but love the sinner, but too many times it looks like we hate the human being as well.

This kind of thing is awful. Trying to catch kids when their young and make being a drag queen look like some big fun dress-up party.

That's what's wrong with the world today trying to shove this stuff down on everyone and then say your a bigot if you don't like it.

Sorry, but junk like that should be illegal. Children of that age don't need to hear about sex or sexual identity in any form.

I don't think anyone can claim anything about all homosexuals or trans and their condition. As if a blanket observation covers the whole bunch.
People who are weak in their resolve will always claim those who are not are just afraid of ....name the sinner.
Homophobic. Afraid of gays. What a stupid term.
Homoempathic would be more apt. Empathetic with the fact, and as a Christian, that unrepentant homosexuals are going to die damned for eternity. Oh, sorry, empathy is occult and that's baaaaad. Yep, that's how twisted the world has become people.
But defend homosexuals and condemn Christians, well that's just PC.
No, that's Christo-Phobic.
Fear of the Christian teachings that call a sinner, any sinner, a sinner.

I went to school with a lesbian. She was a beautiful girl and very athletic in the sports arenas there. One day in a girls club meeting, not the official girls club but one certain of us had formed after school, as we were sharing about ourselves to our sisters, this girl shared very intimate details of her growing up.
She was raped at a young age by her brother, who was just two years older. When she grew a little older she was raped by her step father. And her brother yet again later. Her mother slapped her the first time she told of the violation. And threatened her if she "lied" again.
Other very horrible things had happened to this girl in her formative years. For this reason she said she decided to be lesbian. Because aside from her mother's denial and that one slap, which she never wanted to experience again and so stayed mum when she was violated later, no female had ever brought her harm.
It was her choice.
Years ago the actor Cynthia Nixon, who was on the HBO program Sex and the City, gained a lot of scorn from the community that demands tolerance but rarely displays any, when she stated publicly on a daytime talk show that she had decided to become a lesbian. It was a choice, she said.
Today she is married to a woman.

Liberal Christianity is growing sadly in concert with the permissive secular fallen world that makes news most every day. There are apostate churches, not qualified to be called church nor member of the denomination they formerly vested in, that allow homosexuals and transgender, sexually active, to marry, or enter into offices in that church. Even serving in clergy while married to the same sex.

There comes a time when a Christian has to have the courage to recognize Christ himself told us to render unto Caesar that which is Caesar's and unto God that which is God's. His command wasn't solely about the money he held up as example. It was about allegiances.

I read people here who chastise those of us who stand with Christ and hold to scripture. Their self-righteousness is present as they condemn conservative Christianity and defend the liberal. The Bible no longer says what it says about immoral sexual sins. Which, as the Christian knows applies to the heterosexuals as well. We're suppose to all come together and love the unrepentant sinner and their sin.
We don't know what makes the homosexual and the trans that way, yes, we do, but we should love them and accept them because poor them have had it rough. They're coming out of the closet. You know, like the Indians are now strong enough to do. Because a person born of native blood is comparable to an immoral sinner homosexual or transsexual since the conundrum that spoke about their condition first claimed we don't know why they are what they are but.... And then makes a relative comparison of that community with people who are born with native blood!
The excuse to uphold sin and condemn righteousness is sickening.
There's even a former satanist who claims to have found Christ as they defend homosexual and trans immorality. While laying curses on a Christian that stands with the Bible.

Thank God for that in print in public.
Because it tells the community of Christ not only are the prophecies coming true. As in, that which is evil will be called good. And that which is good shall be called evil. But the examples of those disciples are right here as members on this site.

It is dishonest for anyone in this thread to say there is no compassion for the homosexual or transsexual. Those communities aren't special. The Christian has compassion for all who are dead in their sins.

What the Christian is not commanded to do is to defend those who are dying there while chastising those who say that particular community of sinners, as is the topic of this thread, should not be tolerated to the point they're are let to remain so without someone having the guts to say not only are the trans and homosexual sinners, but they'll be damned forever if they live and die as such as they were tolerated and defended by some, all the way to the grave.

Those who think to defend a homosexual and a trans being what they are should spend half as much time prosletyzing to those same people. But really, you can't. You can't defend their present right to be dead in their sins when speaking to Christians who know they need be redeemed, and then try to tell those sinners you defend as having the need for compassion as they remain in their sins that they're sinners. That's double speak.
Very obvious shame on a written text forum. A hypocritical shame were such a one to then off-line try to tell a homosexual or trans they need Jesus.
But thank you for the example of prophecy in effect. It serves God's church to watch scriptures come true.

Well of course you are right, but I think that pendulum has swung wildly in the direction that disagreement equates to hatred.

And I do believe many use this as a bullying club, and a tactic to silence Christians, and even incite hatred and violence toward believers.

Agreed.
I also do not discount that there are in the church today wolves on the hunt for just that purpose. They're in our churches. They're rapists, pederasts, etc... They're charlatans who are greedy and yet pretend to practice fake-healing. They make a fortune exploiting the truth of God in the love and teachings of Christ. And I'm certain the very public ones that are on TV are atheist. They can't possibly think they'll pay after life for the false wolf disguise they're wearing for the riches now.

What is really unfortunate is that bully club that equates holding to the scriptures with hate. While advocating renouncing the scriptures to avoid that charge, and be considered then as benevolent by the bully's.
But that's the prophecy again isn't it?
Isaiah 5:20-24 Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter. 21 Woe to those who are wise in their own eyes and clever in their own sight. 22Woe to those who are heroes at drinking wine and champions at mixing drinks, 23 who acquit the guilty for a bribe, but deny justice to the innocent. 24Therefore, as tongues of fire lick up straw and as dry grass sinks down in the flames, so their roots will decay and their flowers blow away like dust; for they have rejected the law of the LORD Almighty and spurned the word of the Holy One of Israel.

John 3:19
And this is the judgment: the light has come into the world, and people loved the darkness rather than the light because their works were evil.

Your heart is hardened and your tongue is sharp.

Go in peace, sister, I will not be bothering you anymore.

You wish peace to those you assail with your tongue? You judge those you call hardened heart while levying curses against those who invoke the Bible in this thread?
You're cute. Let's see if you can keep your word. "I will not be bothering you anymore."
My money's on, not a chance.

God's tongue is sharp against the sinner, and God hates. Why are you surprised when those who are Christ like do not take to being kicked in the face by one such as you represent without speaking back?
It's that "turn the other cheek" bit that lets the bully spirit think it can say anything to a Christian and skate.
And Jesus NEVER said love the sinner but hate the sin.
It was Gandhi, who condemned the Jews for fleeing and not instead offering their throats to the Nazi knives, who said it. And after corrupting the original quote by Saint Augustine: "Cum dilectione hominum et odio vitiorum," "With the love for man and a hatred of sin."

God's word proves he doesn't love the sinner so as to let them sin unabated. They are sent to the grave, or Hell, depending on the translation, if the sinner dies without being redeemed before the end of their life. Hell, that God first created for the enemy and the 1/3 of Heaven's angels that followed him in the rebellion, was opened by God to receive the unrepentant dead sinners.
God loved the world of sinners and sent his only begotten son to save them. No one can come to redemption unless God's word resonates as truth for them.
All others are damned for eternity. God loves the sinner. But he doesn't tolerate them for eternity.

Hardened hearts like yours, Ma’am.
well apparently you would disregard the Bible and what God says about same sex or other variants on the subject

FYI, we actually live beside a gay couple and are on good terms with them

you just are an advert for ignorance and preconceived notions

that does not change your decision to turn away from what God says regarding these things

doesn't it occur to you that you are judging believers with the world's judgement?

that indicates you have fallen short of proper decision making

Yes, of course, this is true too, and that’s no less shameful than the opposite view.

thanks. I think that is often forgotten in the rush to appear 'Christian' by throwing words around like 'love'

I would not get in someone's face yet sympathizers seem to feel an obligation to remind us to be Christian by acceptance etc

I believe God makes a way for us to witness and prepares hearts for His message

I think too that there is an effort to diminish a Christian's perspective if they don't put globs of love in a post while writing in a thread concerning a particular sin. We're to love, love, love the sinner and say nothing about their fate if they do not repent? Is that really love? Hey, I tolerate you, I love you. Go to hell. :)

Don't dare invoke scripture , which is love in itself, while speaking to what is for sure a sin according to God. Just sympathize, empathize, oh sorry, that's evil according to the very same that think we should love the homosexual and transsexual and let them perish without daring to tell them they're sinning. And their soul is at stake. Kind of odd really.

I guess every generation has it's challenges, but today's young parents...they need our prayers, they have their work cut out. Look at that picture, how devious. They've planned a dress up it appears. How cunning, to fit in pretend/dress up alongside that man in a woman's dress and harlot makeup no less. Make it all seem like such fun to the young ones.

Exploiting innocence. To those little ones he probably looks like he's in costume too. Maybe he is and for the moment. But still, young minds are confused to see a daddy image dressed like mommy. Even in extreme and vulgar makeup and wig.

It's on going now, this purposeful alteration of natural normal moral reality. Little children in elementary school are able to see a little boy dress as a girl. And then he walks into the girls bathroom. Or the gym. Or the locker room. That would be quite the shock. But he can't be stopped because that is gender discrimination, bigotry, the latest phobia.

Target stores announced years ago that this was allowed in their dressing rooms. No longer are they restricted to natural born male, female. Now a man can walk into a woman's dressing room with a dress over his arm and pass unrestricted. He's presumed to "identify" as female. Think of the opportunity to exploit or abuse women in vulnerable states and in various states of undress. Not to mention little girls who may not have mom there with them.
This happened in Texas. Thankfully the young perve who took pictures of a little girl trying on swimsuits was caught. He'd taken her picture while standing on the bench in the dressing room beside hers and used his phone to snap her in various stages of undress and from above her.
She screamed when she happened to look up. And he took off like a shot. He was captured on store video leaving the store. Very good clear video so as to insure his likeness was distinguishable for broadcast and print news.

Little girls and boys are now being taught in public school that little boys get their periods. It's part of the new human sexuality classes for kids as young as elementary.
I'm waiting to read the news where 4th graders are shown the proper way to practice birth control. The excuse being so that when they're old enough to choose their sexuality they're prepared. Because now little one's in elementary and beyond are being taught they can select which gender they wish to be. And if they wish to identify as none, well that is OK too.

Inevitable I guess. After a woman sued her employer because she felt emotionally traumatized and abused at work due to co-workers using female gender pronouns to address her. Her application showed she left the gender box blank.

Then there's this 2015 Nebraska news piece.
Nebraska Woman Files Suit Against All Homosexuals

Hey, it's America. Why not?

It's just so disturbing. How do we combat these things/ arm our children to withstand when the majority of Christians say God's instructions were nailed to the cross? It's a confusing world we live in.
satan has been very hard at work.
