Man was created the same way. Thousands of creatures were in the line of man, before Adam was created. They were not human souls as Adam, but they were his ancestors.

Sickle cell anemia doesn't confer resistance to malaria and no professional would recommend it as a way of fighting malaria, it only happens that it is a deadly condition that even the Plasmodium parasite wouldn't survive. Sickle cell (affected blood cells) are not part of immune system so you can not use the words 'confers resistance'. The parasite can not survive in this kind of blood just like it can't survive in a dead body- A dead body doesn't confer resistance to any disease.

For 1000's of years the story was taken as literal. But with modern knowledge, it seems that it is not literal.

If you say that the story is literal, investigation shows that it cannot be correct.

But if you understand the symbolism correctly, then it is true.

Being symbolic doesn't make it false, only that the literal interpretation is false.

If you read Jeremiah 4: 23-27, you will understand that Genesis 1:1 is a time period called the Beginning. And from Genesis 1:1 to 1:2 there is missing data that Jeremiah helps fill the gap. And that is Genesis 1:1 speaks about a finished and completed earth with life on it. The missing data we find in Jeremiah, indicates God destroyed the people and their offspring (generations) who all were in the time period called "The Beginning." Even the earth was destroyed, going from a complete and finished earth to now one under water, void, lifeless, formless, surrounded with complete darkness.

It's this generation(s) of people from the time period "The Beginning," whom science has found evidence of man being on earth hundreds of thousands of years before Adam.

I merely asked the other member if he believed it was possible for God to lie, while you claim to know the attributes of God but are you really telling the truth? Lying is a sin and therefore an abomination to God.

FIRST living CREATURE must have been a bird..living BEING is God..
