Amen.

And when He had called His twelve disciples to Him, He gave them power over unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all kinds of sickness and all kinds of disease. Now the names of the twelve apostles are these: first, Simon, who is called Peter, and Andrew his brother; James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother; Philip and Bartholomew; Thomas and Matthew the tax collector; James the son of Alphaeus, and Lebbaeus, whose surname was Thaddaeus; Simon the Cananite, and Judas Iscariot, who also betrayed Him.

These twelve Jesus sent out and commanded them, saying: “Do not go into the way of the Gentiles, and do not enter a city of the Samaritans. But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel. And as you go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand.’ Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons. Freely you have received, freely give.
Matthew 10:1-8

Judas Iscariot was appointed and destined by God to reign with Christ and the other Apostles in the age to come.

So Jesus said to them, “Assuredly I say to you, that in the regeneration, when the Son of Man sits on the throne of His glory, you who have followed Me will also sit on twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel. Matthew 19:28

Judas Iscariot was a disciple of Jesus Christ for over three years, then was promoted to an Apostle, whereby he was empowered to preach the Gospel to the lost, heal the sick, cast out devil, and raise the dead.

And when He had called His twelve disciples to Him, He gave them power over unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all kinds of sickness and all kinds of disease. Matthew 10:1-4

Judas Iscariot was an Apostle of the Lord Jesus Christ, then became a traitor.

Now it came to pass in those days that He went out to the mountain to pray, and continued all night in prayer to God. And when it was day, He called His disciples to Himself; and from them He chose twelve whom He also named apostles: Simon, whom He also named Peter, and Andrew his brother; James and John; Philip and Bartholomew; Matthew and Thomas; James the son of Alphaeus, and Simon called the Zealot; Judas the son of James, and Judas Iscariot who also became a traitor. Luke 6:12-16

  • Judas Iscariot who also became a traitor.

He was the one thing, then became the other.

  • Saul of Tarsus was an insolent man who persecuted the Church, then became an Apostle.

He was the one thing, then became the other.

Judus (as we all have) had FREE WILL and chose another path..Jesus has great plans for EACH of our lives but we still have free will to decide to accept Gods will for our lives or not..

I agree.

Although becoming a guide to for those to arrest Jesus is betrayal.

Some will fall into that trap in these last days, when they betray one another during the tribulation.

He might of felt REMORSE that he betrayed Jesus..or guilty n thats why he gave back the silver and hung himself but dont remember reading that he repented..
Sorry I took so long to respond, been busy in preparation for a cruise. Matt 27:3 in the KJV does say that he repented.

:)Remember that the Issue now Is faith, JESUS paid for sin with HIS blood on a cross...

For GOD SO loved the world that HE gave HIS only begotten SON THAT whosoever will believe In HIM should not die but have EVERLASTING LIFE.
You are reading out of the wrong version of the bible. The KJV says whosoever believeth, which is present tense. Not whosoever will believe, which is future tense. So this verse has reference to believers only.

Hmmmm...never heard that before
That is the word in Greek. That is what it means, that is what John the Baptist was telling them to do. It is unfortunate that the word has not been clearly understood recently.

@forestgreen..i read the matthew 27:3 and judas ANDMITTED to the chief priests and elders he was wrong but never went to Jesus to repent and ask forgiveness...

Matthew 27:3-10 New International Version (NIV)

"3 When Judas, who had betrayed him, saw that Jesus was condemned, he was seized with remorse and returned the thirty pieces of silver to the chief priests and the elders. 4 “I have sinned,” he said, “for I have betrayed innocent blood.”

:)What In your words would It take for a person to even get to the point of wanting to repent since men loved darkness?

IMO,every one knows deep down that there Is a GOD so they can choose to believe In GOD and GOD loves righteousness and has made grace available to those that believe In HIS WORD that was sent to earth manifested In the flesh.
We cant SPEAK for every man..so i cant answer that question

Could be used as both..

will1
wil,wəl/Submit
verb
1.
expressing the future tense.
"you will regret it when you are older"
2.
expressing inevitable events.
"accidents will happen"
synonyms: tend to, have a tendency to, are bound to, do, are going to, must
"accidents will happen"

Do you feel that some men do not know deep down In their heart know that there Is a GOD?
When we look at everything GOD created, the creation Itself declares that there Is a GOD so then there Is no excuse for any man...

Knowing and accepting 2 very different things and a lot KNOW there is a "higher being" but dont associate it with the God we know so your statement might be assuming much..

Got tempted but nothing demonic
Luke 22:3-4
3 Then Satan entered into Judas called Iscariot, who was of the number of the twelve. 4 He went away and conferred with the chief priests and officers how he might betray him to them.
