the context of hate is separation Nothing unholy can stand before the living God. Yes God hates sin however, Jesus became the very symbol of punishment for sin AND freedom from sin. Jesus took the sin unto Himself and gives forgiveness of sin . The Gospel message is not “ God hates sin”. The Gospel message is Good news that Jesus paid for our sin and if we have faith in HIM we do not suffer the judgement of sin.

The Gospel message is simple but there's a lot to it, we can't simplify it and limit it to Gods love alone. The Gospel is Gods complete works of saving His elect. It's not for everyone, it's only for those who were chosen before He laid down the foundations of the world. The Gospel shows us how much God hates sin, just look at how much Jesus suffered and we can see God wrath against sin.
Every person is born an abomination in Gods sight and it's only after we are washed in the Blood of Christ that we become acceptable in Gods sight.
There's no way the Church can accommodate or tolerate any sin in the Church, as Christians we are at war with our sin so we are soldiers in a battle and the Church is an army.
I don't think it's possible to accept practicing homosexuals in the Church, without throwing the Gospel out the window.

Gays probably get singled out because our society is in full "You have to accept it as normal" mode. Everywhere you look, ALL TV shows, nearly all media is pushing the "gay is normal" agenda.

This is offensive to many people, so they tend to over react to that particular fault/sin.

Sure the Sodomites have always been around, but they are coming out of their closets in our days and seeking to dominate and conquer the world.
They are militantly opposed to free speech and they hate Jesus Christ and Christians. They don't want anyone to remind them of what awaits them at the time of their death. They want to live out their filthy fantasies and suppress their conscience, Christians are the exact opposite to them so they hate the opposition.

California is trying to pass a law which outlaws any hate speech. That is interpreted to include references in The Bible....i.e.....homosexuality. The proponents argue that if passed it will require the removal of all bibles from the state.

The "Gay agenda" is Satanic to the core. They're ramming it down everyones throat, we are losing our freedoms very quickly.
They say there's something wrong with you if you don't think that gay love is normal and beautiful. This will lead society down to moral bankruptcy, before we know it they will be pushing pedophilia and bestiality upon society.

OK! Yes. I tried for 10 min to find chapter and verse, I don't have the bible comitted to memory, yet. In the verse I was recalling, homosexuals, drunkards, liars, adulteres and idolitors are mentioned with equal distain.

“Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor homosexuals,” 1 Cor. 6:9

“and immoral men and homosexuals and kidnappers and liars and perjurers, and whatever else is contrary to sound teaching,” 1 Tim 1:10

Go to google, or Biblegateway.com and put in a word or words you want to look up. It takes less than a minute to do!

Plus, for those who do not know, both 1 Corinthians and 1 Timothy are in the NT. And homosexuality was very much approved of, and encouraged in the Greek culture. So Paul took a strong stand on this issue, which we all need to do. I’m not saying gay bashing, but being strong about the sin, among others!

It is probably because being gay is more gross in their eyes than fornication between the opposite sexes, and we know that stealing a piece of bubble gum is not as worse as stealing a car, and flicking a person in their head with your finger is not as worse as taking a baseball bat to their head.

Some sins are worse than other sins, and the worse the degree of the sin the more the saints would hate it, and homosexuality is a terrible sin, and gross, in the eyes of many saints, where fornication between a man and a woman not married is not actually gross except it is a sin.

But all unrighteousness is sin, and if you offend in the least of the law, you offend in all, which means it does not matter the sin you broke the law.

I do not think anybody is born with original sin, for everybody is accountable for their own sin, and that was Adam and Eve's sin, not our sin.

And we are born innocent with no sin on our record, a clean slate, which is why the Bible says the angels always behold the face of the Father of the little ones, which means they are protected spiritually.

Before the age of accountability there is no sin on our record.

It is choice that is the reason we are sinners in need of salvation, because when Adam and Eve ate off the tree then they had a choice between good and evil, so all their offspring are born with a choice, so we are born not knowing God, so we will do wrong before we come to God and repent, so we are sinners that have fallen short of the grace of God.

We are not blamed for Adam and Eve's sin, and it does not fall on us, neither do we inherit what they did wrong as far as their sin, but we inherit their choice between good and evil, so we are born not knowing God because of that, so we will do wrong before we come to God and repent.

We are innocent when we are born, with no sin on our record, but we will all do wrong and accountable for it before we come to God and repent.
