I looked up "mites"... She gave 2. And it says, " Mite dominates a small coin made of brass- the smallest among any Jews. Its price value cannot be estimated because it's smaller that ANYTHING WE HAVE TODAY!!!!
What makes this such a valuable lesson... Y-shua said she gave more in her poverty than other people give in their abundance (Mae paraphrase).
That's quite a sermon right there on giving!!!!

The curtain that split in two from top to bottom separated the Holy Place from the Holy of Holies - the Ark of the Covenant was now visible - "Access Granted" basically!!!!
It's meaning - the veil of the flesh is no longer in the way. Sin is taken out of the way, what separated us has been removed, now "Access is Granted." Just enter in - the door is always open!! Hallelujah!!!
