I have never posted an official testimony... just told bits and pieces of my story here and there :)

Some of my story is in my poetry

You just told of your Mother's name I meant. That's part of your story/testimony.....LOL

It was not until my earthly father died that it was discovered that he had been going by his middle name. It caused a little bit of a problem because he died suddenly and unexpectedly, and without a will. The last words he said to my mother were, "I feel like I could live to be a hundred." Or something to that effect. I had left my home province six months earlier, to live out west. My twin brother paid my plane fare so I could go home for the funeral to be with my family. It was the first time I ever remember hugging my mother. I was almost 23 years old.

Sooooooo, Mr Peabody wanna try and guess my name? Let's play Hangman - if you can win without hanging I'll have coffee with you - if you do not win I'll make you drink tea. You have 5 guesses and you have to guess the whole name - not just the letters LOL.

I am not sure which part you cannot imagine. I sometimes feel like I am dishonoring my parents to say what it was like growing up as one of eleven children, when we were never told we were loved, and there was no affection. We were housed, and fed, and clothed, and educated. It was a different generation, wasn't it? I was left with a terrible void in my life. I think most people experience that to some extent, any ways... that void. For me, it was profound. It was too easy coming out of that lack to fall into the lie of the culture of my time: free love.

I have many fond memories as a child. My family was large, and my dad had even more brothers and sisters that I did. My mom also had 3 brothers, and one sister. We had lots of aunts, uncles, and cousins, with family outings, picnics, get-togethers, etc. I do not remember it bothering me that most of my clothes were hand me downs, as it did some of my other sisters, the younger ones especially. One sister was aware of things like whether or not it was butter on the table, or margarine, real milk, or powdered milk, tang or real orange juice. I was either oblivious to stuff like that haha, or those things did not matter to me :) Probably a little of both ;)
