I personally believe what the Bible says about relationships. A woman and a man is what God wants. I don’t judge anyone but I will speak in love about that’s a sin. I sin too but don’t have a problem in that area. I am straight and desire a man of God. Sin is sin no sin is greater than the next. Jesus bleed for all of us and died for us so we would have the opportunity of spending eternity with the Father in heaven.
Jesus contradicts that idea in John 19:11~

Jesus answered, “You would have no power over me if it were not given to you from above. Therefore the one who handed me over to you is guilty of a greater sin.

Greetings Sweetsmash,

You are correct in that, sin is sin and all can be forgiven. However, the issue is not regarding whether or not those who are living a same-sex life style can be forgiven or not. The issue is that, they are willfully living that life style, justifying and embracing it with no intention of repenting. Those who are living this same-sex life style who are calling themselves Christian, have no intention of repenting, but instead believe that God loves them as they are, with no need to change.

I can respect someone as my brother or sister who has repented, recognizing these practices as sin and who are wrestling with these desires to overcome them. But for those who justify and embrace this life style with no intention of repenting, they basically unbelievers as they continue in that mind-set.

Attempting to proclaim that same-sex is just as normal as sex between a man and a woman, is just as ridiculous as a murderer attempting to convince everyone that it is ok to murder, or that stealing is ok, or lying or slander, etc. This is the only sin where its adherents are trying to convince the rest of the world that it is a normal practice. Just as their moto states "love is love."

Greetings Calibob,

Again, the issue is not whether or not the individuals of the LGBTQ can be saved, because the offer of salvation is also to them. We certainly can and should witness to them, but this is not the issue. What the issue is, is their drive to make same-sex marriage equal to heterosexual marriage, to get rid of gender boundaries such as husband and wife, male and female, etc. Again, this is not about whether or not salvation is extended to them, because it is and always has been, but God requires repentance and that is the issue.

For those of the LGBTQ who claim to be in Christ, instead of repentance, they have justified and embraced the same-sex life style stating that God loves them just as they are. Therefore and for the most part, there is no need to repent because they don't see it as sin.

I would also point out that, regardless of Trump's sin, God is using him for His purposes. He was the only president who did not sign that waiver, recognizing Jerusalem as the capital of Israel and is a supporter of Israel. And regarding your itemizing of Trump's sins, you just described most of the government.

Yes, thank you. That was the point. And that the government has blame to share along with the gays for allowing it is all.

Hey all,

I seem to never be on the same page with other Christians when it comes to LGBT issues. I see it as a disgusting sin that brings judgment upon the nations that accept its practice.

I'm always get accused of being judgemental, they say hate the sin not the sinner. However, I want no part of it, I cannot stand to know anyone who is LGBT. When in contact with them and despite becoming purely disgusted and very uncomfortable, I do treat them with respect just like any other person.

They see it as it's just like other sins, agreed, sin is still sin. But, this sin is praised and accepted throughout nations, practiced in communities, and accepted in churches. Would you praise a drunkard? Fight for rapist rights? Fly a flag supporting pedophiles? everyone sins, but no one should glorify it and it is against God's word.
Those who know not Christ would take away all discrimination as in ..where there is no law there is no trespass .Satan has been a murder from the beginning.. in him there is no truth

I would suggest the father of lies, the counterfeiter.... who calls thing separate as to what God calls together, and what God calls separate the liar calls it all as one to give the illusion the kingdom of God is of this world as the god of this world, as if we walked by sight.

I believe he knows in a spiritual way as new creatures we are no longer considered male and female Jew or gentile but are those who are awaiting our new incorruptible bodies in the new heaven and earth when our faith will become sight . The LGBT issues simply represents a false gospel .

The god of this world would remove the truth of God for a lie. I say look down and we can see we have not yet received the promise.
When one does receive the new incorruptible all will

And these all, having obtained a good report through faith, received not the promise: God having provided some better thing for us, that they without us should not be made perfect Hebews 11 :38-29

The commandment in the garden still applies....be fruitful multiply. Cant get that by rubbing two sticks together .

Offer the gospel in a hope he will apply it to ther hearts .

Hey all,

I agree , Rome’s cultural acceptance of sodomy and sexual debauchery was
a key factor in the destruction of its family life, and the fall of the nation.

The History of the Decline and Fall of the Roman Empire. Gibbon identified five major
causes behind the fall of one of history’s greatest empires. Declining demographics didn’t
make the list. Nor did insufficient technology or climate change. His first fundamental factor
was the breakdown of the family. Then he listed increased taxation, an insatiable craving
for pleasure, an unsustainable buildup of armaments, and the decay of religion.

According to Gibbon, the root cause of Roman societal collapse was their loss of civic virtue
and individual morality. Gibbon believed the laws of morality were as unchanging as the laws
of mathematics and physics.Sodomy was regarded as the last symptoms of a dying culture.

The 1833 edition of Encyclopedia Britannica refers to it as “the nameless crime, which was
the disgrace of Greek and Roman civilization.” Today such a statement is simply derided
as bigotry, regardless of whether or not it is true.

In the first edition of his famous Webster’s Dictionary,
he defined sodomy as “a crime against nature.”
-

In his famous farewell address, Washington said, “Of all the dispositions and habits
which lead to political prosperity, religion and morality are indispensable supports.”

To quote John Adams, “The foundations of national morality must be laid in private
families.”John Adams wrote in a letter to Thomas Jefferson, “The Ten Commandments
and the Sermon on the Mount contain my religion.”

Before 1962, every American state considered sodomy a felony. And before 1973,
the American Psychological Association considered homosexuality a mental disorder.

Throughout the English-speaking world, families were organized with each member fulfilling
his or her natural role. The father was the head of the family, the provider and protector.
A wife respected her husband’s authority, took pride in her role as helper, and excelled at
managing the household. Society viewed the wife’s role as complementary to the husband’s.

Together, a husband and wife formed a complete team—a well-organized family
in which children could be responsibly reared.

But in the 1970s, public opposition to homosexuality in America and Britain began to melt away.

As society embraced the notion that morality is subjective, evolutionary philosophers
spread the idea that fornication, adultery, homosexuality and even pedophilia were not evil.
They were natural results of the evolutionary process.

Without masculine fathers and feminine mothers to teach children about sex roles, gender
confusion reached a new height in 2014. That was the year the British Parliament legalized
homosexual “marriage.” The U.S. Supreme Court followed suit a year later.

These changes signaled a new era: an era where marriage was not defined as a divinely
sanctioned partnership between a man and a woman; an era where marriage could be
defined as any sexual relationship between consenting partners.

Instead of viewing homosexuality as a sin, the majority in the U.S. and Britain now consider
homosexuality a right. Broken homes and illegitimate children are now so common that it is
considered insensitive to even suggest that such individuals may be disadvantaged.

We have given public acceptance to the misnamed ‘new morality,’ which is gross immorality!
We have given public acceptance to homosexuality, premarital sex and perversion. We have
polluted the sacred institution of marriage, and through a constantly increasing divorce rate,
we have started on a course of destroying the home and family relationship—the foundation
of any stable society.”

The Prophet Isaiah wrote that the morality of the ancient Israelites deteriorated to the point
where they were actually proud of their sins. They “declare their sin as Sodom, they hide it not”
(Isaiah 3:9). Sadly, you could hardly find a more apt way to describe society today.

Today, most people reject the law of cause and effect. They think society can discard marriage
and family and not suffer any consequences. But both the Bible and secular history show what
the fruits of family breakdown are—and will be!

there will always be "popular" sins that are ok with culture, LGBT and fornication are pretty much the tops, plus greed and pride, also gossip, then a myriad of others lol

but it is not our job to point them out, its the HS.

i'll give you a personal example. my father is gay, he came out when i was 8. now this is how the church reacted, the leader told my father he was hell bound for sin, told my mother she had to get an annulment to particapat in church, and that her children (me and sibs) were bastards. none the less this pushed all of us away from God, and me and my mom are the only ones who regularly attend a church.

now im going to speak to you personally, if you when in contact "becoming purely disgusted and very uncomfortable" you are seeing them for their sin. not through the eyes of Christ.

i'm gonna tell you this i know the depths of sin, and the suffering it is. when i see someone in it i am overcome with compassion. i tell them sin doesn't matter to be only the cross of Christ and the greatness of His love. if they don't know that, thats the only thing i am concerned about.
Amen, God does not measure sin. Violate what men might think is the least sin any man will be found guilty of the whole law .The gospel has the power to change hearts. It is not of us we simply have it in these earthen vessels of death.

James 2:10 For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all.

I share some of your thoughts. My family attends what is refered to as an open church. I had a discussion with a minister on this topic. He said this type of behavior is listed 7 times in the Bible. But in only 1 out of those 7 times is it called a sin. It is my encouragement to socialize with them as little as possible. Although you may try to change them with your witness, they may hurt your witness

There are a lot of things I do not agree with, but as it is a sin against God and not us, who are we to stand in judgement? Over the years I have found myself more accepting of people for who they are and not what they do. We are told to love the sinner (our neighbour) and not the sin and that is what I find myself doing. I have a feeling Jesus would have made friends with them, he associated with all people and these days I tend to follow His example.

Never annoy the LGBT people just to make fun of them but never agree to same sex relationships, and cross dressings if you are a Christian.

I advise that you pray for these people that they themselves realize their follies.

Let them become filthy if they want it as Christ said in Revelation Chapter 22.

so just pray for them until they themselves want to change their ungodly lives.

Love the sinner but hate the sins.

I was quoting someone, who used narrow parameters of looking at the issue. I do not agree with that person. I agree with you, a deeper search will prove the point.

I agree it is a yes or no issue. There is no grey area. The Bible says it is a sin and thus something we should avoid. I do not like the term I'm okay your okay. I go more along We're okay, others need serious help.

I agree! We should continue to proclaim the truth regarding this issue. They have the right to continue in it if that is their choice, but the consequences are the same. Willfully living a sexually immoral life leads to death. Paul spoke about this in Romans and those who support it:

"Although they know God’s righteous decree that those who do such things are worthy of death, they not only continue to do these things, but also approve of those who practice them."

Jude also contends for the truth regarding this and urges us to contend for the truth as well:

"In a similar way, Sodom and Gomorrah and the surrounding towns gave themselves up to sexual immorality and perversion. They serve as an example of those who suffer the punishment of eternal fire." - Jude 7
Absolutely. Well said Sir. Thank you for this Gracious Words.
JESUS CHRIST our PRECIOUS LORD and HIS WORD are ONE.

I agree with you, we should always treat everyone fairly with respect and gentleness but don't let disgust, anger or indignation dwell in you and I completely understand but rather pray for them. I pray for LGBs, I just don't know how to pray for transgender people...

I'm looking for answers to why Christians accept it, not how to deal with it personally.
We are in the era of watered down Christianity that's why the Lord's servant John was so astonished when he had the vision of the church today. Many Christians today are not true Christians and the separation will be completed soon.

Brother, you cannot simply change a homosexual to turn away from their cross dressing and same sex relationships by telling that oh it is wrong and God will be mad at you..... He will send you to hell.

This is where to commandment of Jesus applies in Revelation 22 that let the wicked become more wicked... the filthy become more filthy.

but still you need to pray for these people that someday they themselves will realize that they are wrong and they will automatically stop it.
