hmm i wanted to ask a question you know how psychics got banners up in random location i want to start putting Jesus banners up with a symbol of the cross and put in the bottom "overcome by the power and the blood of Jesus" in random places of course it will be customized. I feel as if even though cars and people pass by it..they will view it and be wondering and questioning themselves spiritually.. For Example let say i seen the psychic ad somewhere on a fence but yet im questioning myself and my destiny and was going to call the number associated with it until later on while driving i seen a another Ad banner which says "Overcome by the power and the blood of Jesus." My first intuition will tell me if i truly want Jesus i would say, "no do not call that psychic hotline only GOD has my destiny in his hand i will overcome by the power and blood of Jesus."

I am going to start doing that soon than again i don't want to vandalize property XD or be charged a fine if seen putting it up. Let me know what you think my fellow friends?

Personally I'm not a fan of such things. And what you consider your 'first intuition' is not likely to be the same for anyone not Christian. And any Christian that may do so likely feels they're doing nothing wrong and won't be affected by it either. I suspect you're overestimating the effect these things will have.
We live in a world of signs. But guess what, people don't read signs. I used to work in a bookstore. We would put up big red signs all over. Large ones in the windows facing towards the parking lot. Signs hanging from the ceiling. Signs on endcaps. Signs in front of the registers. These signs would tell about sales. Often the sale was buy two paperbacks get a third free, or something to that effect. So someone comes to the register with two paperbacks and you bring up the sale and you know what a common response was? Anger. Anger that they didn't know and how we should advertise it better. I then instruct them to turn around and point out the 20 or more red signs visible from that one spot, all advertising the sale. Then I' point to the ones facing outside they could've seen walking in. They didn't read the signs.

But then again God may have it for someone to notice. If God's not leading you to do it then it may not be worth it. If He is, then there's no point in asking anyone else.

I don't think all psychics/witches are bad. As long as they aren't satanists and they are on the side of good and light.

For example: Using their talents to benefit and heal people and such. a friend of mine had a sick uncle who prayed and prayed and went to specialists but nothing worked. He went to a local witch (Not satanic) and they did some sort of ritual i think and something about "energy" and within a month I kid you not, he was back on his feet against all odds! If it were not for the witch, he would have been lost and his family devastated!

I do not believe for two seconds that the man who healed him for free (he refused payment) was evil on any level.

I have to agree with Hotus here... WWJD? He would smile and thank the man for helping a soul he knew was in need. Regardless of his eh... "questionable talents"... or uh, whatever you want to call it. haha

Any seeking one's own power(s) is not seeking to be a true child of the Living God from Whom all true power begins.

So manyt today believe even a child of God considered a healer has power..not so.

The power of God is manifested through people who avail themselves as vessels of use by the Father. No man has any true power in the sight of God and any who believe they so, even if they work marvels, is simply deceiving and deceived.......sorry......

Always bear in mind, we come into this world with nothing and we cannot take anything out of it........we do look forward to reward for being true servangts.

Maybe god was manifesting his miracles through this witch? Maybe that is how he chose to save his life? He may not be a "christian" like us and "saved", but he certainly sounds like a good human being. Truely evil people would never do anything selfless unless they gain something from it. And he says he refused to be paid a cent. Sounds like he gave his services from the kindness of his own heart expecting nothing in return <('_'<) Doesn't that at least sound like a "good person" to you? Regardless of his affiliations?

The best witness is probably yourself. If you walk with the Lord every day then people will see
you are different.

I get the psychic thingy. A few years ago there was a banner near me advertising a
“so called psychic”. I prayed against it that people would not be influenced by it and
next time I passed by it had gone! I was gob smacked. lol

Well spoken Abel! Bravo! I do not believe that all witches and psychics and such are "Evil" or that they are on the side of "darkness" by default like oldethennew suggests. That is an extremely archaic and radical assertion. If they help others, are good honest people, and do not use black magic to hurt people (which is the evil kind), then I say they are good souls. If they are truly helping their fellow man, I do not see why god would turn them away. Witch or not. If I randomly woke up with magical powers one day I certainly would use them to help people in need! Wouldn't you oldethennew?

It boggles the mind and makes a fellow wonder just how many who come into this website are giving glory to anything other than to God.

God does not work through witches as far as I know and believe from His Word.

I have never heard of a professed witch being a disciple of Jesuss, God........only falsely caliming such.

No, what Abel meant is if he worked through the witch? He knew the witch would be there, so he used him at that time to heal the man and fufil a part of his plan, which was for the man to live.

He could have worked through anyone. A bum on the street even could have been used as a vessel for the work, but the witch probably made more sense because he knew after all options failed they would go seeking someone like that, since he knows everything and what peoplw will do.

What Hotus just said. We aren't saying the witch was a disciple of jesus NOR are we saying he is some saint NOR "Glorifying the witch and his practices", were saying that GOD worked HIS works through the witch! Who cares who he works through? Its HIS plan not yours. :cautious::cautious::cautious: Thankfully, from the sound of it. What if he had not sent the mans family to the witch for help and the man would have died? What if the man dying wasnt part of HIS plan so he set up this meeting with the witch and used him to heal the man? You can't just write people off because they are different or walking a different path than ours.

Well, y’all can have your reasons as to why they sought help from a witch, but let’s see what the Word of God says:

Leviticus 19:31
31 “ ‘Do not turn to mediums or seek out spiritists, for you will be defiled by them. I am the LORD your God.”

Revelation 21:8
8 But the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters and all liars—they will be consigned to the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death.”

Galations 5:29-20
19 The acts of the flesh are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery;

20idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions...”

Isaiah 8:19-22
“19 When someone tells you to consult mediums and spiritists, who whisper and mutter, should not a people inquire of their God? Why consult the dead on behalf of the living?

20Consult God’s instruction and the testimony of warning. If anyone does not speak according to this word, they have no light of dawn.

21Distressed and hungry, they will roam through the land; when they are famished, they will become enraged and, looking upward, will curse their king and their God.

22 Then they will look toward the earth and see only distress and darkness and fearful gloom, and they will be thrust into utter darkness.”

And there’s more where that came from.

All of these references to "magic" and witchcraft are as outdated as the horse and buggy. No one is trying to summon Abraxas with a 15th century alchemists setup. Nor is anyone weeping at the feet of a statue of Satan asking for fire to rain down on their enemies. These are regular people just like you and I whom have simply taken a different view of spirituality than us. I know a few Wiccans and not a single one of them is "evil" and (Lol) "debaucherous". I know more "evil", judgemental, and mean spirited people of my own faith than theirs unfortunately, to speak statistically. Wiccans dont even believe in the devil, much less idolize "evil". Yes, they aren't christian, but they are not evil people.

People do read signs this whole world promote signs and especially in marketing/advertising and its all about the symbolism and its hidden meaning. Just like when we go shopping we know the brands/products by the symbol it has because it is embedded in our minds. Your situation is different since it had to do with advertising a sale in which of course that person will not really pay attention but would think its a deal. Once the person really ask in person and go to your shop than they will finally know exactly what the sale is all about. My situation is different it is spreading a message across and not focusing on misleading Ads and its all for the individual interpretation of it. It can help someone if they see it because you may never know who is going through a situation at that time. Me personally when i was not saved and i saw those psychics ads i would think about them and probably wanted to call but i didn't. When i pass by their store and see a sign $5 dollar palm read, i would question myself asking i want to know my future maybe go inside but the holy spirit would tell me "no don't do it these people are deceivers and lead many astray."
