Hello everyone, just wanted to share in the ongoing dialogue and enjoy the wonderful company out there. Been stuck in a long impasse after being unemployed for a year basically, moving back to my parents after leaving a very toxic situation in Northern California where I was teaching in a high school and deciding that public high school is not my calling in life, and I just got hired for online ESL teaching job. This is a good thing. It won't be enough to take care of me and it will be hard adjusting to the schedule (on China time), but it is surely better than nothing. Depression still rankles me. Loneliness is terrible. I am willing to give it all up for Christ. not here to complain or make people sorry for me or set myself up as an outsider, like someone on this site sadly accused me of in a hostile attack yesterday. I will serve God any way I can. any way. any way. much love to you all.

Hello dpecheur :) Please feel free to share whatever is on your heart :) Depression and loneliness are not easy burdens to bear, but by honestly sharing where you are at, by being vulnerable, you give others the opportunity to show where they are at, and in turn share their heart with you. Unfortunately, not everyone is always going to be sympathetic. But you cannot allow the naysayers to dictate the content of your posts, as if pretending to be something you are not would be better. We are called to share in the burdens of others, for it helps lighten their load.

OnceFallen has stated that the migration isn't 100% complete. And that, currently, we are on the new software's defaults. So we may lose or gain things as Robo has time to adjust the sites settings. So don't celebrate/pout too soon about features.

ohhh and hey guys....if i have't replied to your messages lately on here...i'm sorry...its so hard to catch up on posts when you're so busy. my apologies to Deade, Slave, Mel, HUFL, Becc, Didy...and all the others here who are so kind to say hello...ill try my best to show my deepest gratitude :)
