I am in agreement with you on this. Communicating on CC is one thing, actually physically meeting each other is another thing all together. When I was communicating with JesusLives on CC before we met I would always have this sense of loneliness when I would sign off for the night. It's a hard thing to have what you have never held in your arms.

Do you want to say anything Mrs Peabody? No, you can though - nah - we can just keep 'em guessing - alright Mr. Peabody if you say so...indubitably - lettuce keep a hush then Mrs Peabody - Zipppp! (no problem Mr. Peabody)

My brother met his wife online and flew to the Philippines to meet her and the family. A few months later he flew back to get her with a fiancée visa. It was not a hard thing to do at all. They have been happily married for over 20 years. I met my late wife in an AOL Romance Christian Singles chat room. I lived in Florida, she lived in Maine. Six weeks later I flew up there to get her and bring her back to Florida. We got married a couple months later.
God has blessed you - I am delighted He has indeed!

A woman's touch is often needed in the kitchen to bring out the best in a man in the baking process. :)
That's even an axiomatic truth or (self-evident truth) - did ya see the cookies I baked back there? Atrocious I tell ya Atrocious!:)...

That's why I need to make sure she is safe from falling -
with all those slippery cookie ingredients on the floor and all.
I keep telling Mrs. Peabody
to wear her shoes!
:)

Wondering who took that photo of us Mr Peabody but hey - they captured our joy brilliantly! LOL

God has blessed you - I am delighted He has indeed!
I have had a very interesting marital history that's for sho.

First marriage at the age of 23, total disaster (6 years 6 months), second marriage at the age of 47, loving and faithful wife but also in declining health leading to a nightmare in Maine for the last 8 years of our marriage (11 years, 2 months), current wife that I met on CC at the age of 59, loving and faithful, playful and affectionate, serious and considerate, relatively healthy (3 years, 5 months and counting). A total of over 21 years of various marital experience, some doom and gloom, some heartbreaking and some very happy and content.

I have indeed undergone a tremendous amount of training to reach the point where I am today, a loving and faithful husband to my wife. In fact, I was loving and faithful in all three marriages even though my first wife was horrible and unloving and unfaithful.

My most challenging marriage was my second marriage. I knew she had arthritis and other medical challenges and I would probably outlive her but God asked me one day if this is truly who I wanted till death do we part. He warned me to count the cost because if I said yes there was no going back. This was to be my ministry and something that He had prepared for me accomplish for years I said "I do".

My current wife will be my last wife. I have heard it said to never say never but this will be it for me. One way or another when this marriage ends by the death of either her or me my work will be finished.

And what God puts together let no man put asunder - amen. I had a 29 year marriage as well with three boys, and I faced the Scripture that had my faith in opposition to her Spirit, meaning she was moral but not His. Morality is not the same thing as a proper relationship with God...thus she departed to find her life. But Scripture tells me if you find your life you will lose it; but if you lose your life for His name sake - you will find it. Thus, I had to put God ahead of her, despite loving her all thru it.

Thank you for your transparency Tourist, it is wonderful to share with you on a personable level as well. May God richly bless you and your marriage. It was good to see her too..

It's hard to tell whether or not the woman that he is holding is wearing an engagement or wedding band.

"But seek first His Kingdom and His Righteousness, and all these things will be added to you." (Matthew 6:33). We must wait upon the Lord in all manner to things we cherish, then it will be commissioned and approved by Him as it is His will. Until then His will is still His own to give as He pleases.
