Apparently three times the charm is a myth in your case. I'm just a one-time loser myself. Wife #2 was wonderful but died early. Currently I'm on my 3rd wife. She is wonderful too, and healthier than my 2nd wife by the grace of God. There will not be a 4th wife.

LM, I am so glad you are feeling blessed by our care and concern for you I understand very well the feelings you have been experiencing, and I think probably most can relate to how painful it can be to think you do not matter. I also want to apologize for the graphic text being all in the third person. Sometimes I get ahead of myself and post a graphic before it is truly finished, and making it more personal to you is certainly a finishing touch I thought would be more fitting, after the fact. I also found an Ariel in a pink dress! Haha for some reason I always thought she wore green So after our conversation last night, I have also changed the element of the little mermaid too, after finding one of her in a color I know you had/have a fondness for

I also want to say that therapy may help you understand in part why you are the person you are, and I certainly support your decision to explore your issues in a safe environment with a trained professional, but would also caution you not to expect to get all the answers from one therapist, or even many therapists. I only say that because I have tried figuring my own self out for many years (it is an ongoing endeavor) and I never come to any conclusions that universally account for everything except for what can be found in the revealed written Word of God, being that we live in a fallen world where sin has affected every area of our collective lives, to the detriment of all.

I saw a Christian therapist for PTSD, and got some good help.

I former boss liked the smell of magic markers. He said it was better than sniffing glue. Knowing him I had no doubt that he meant what he said.
