I asked for all things that I might enjoy life;
I was given life that I might enjoy all things.
Almost despite myself, my unspoken prayers were answered.
I am, among all people, most richly blessed.
Jesus offers us no guarantees to life thru human reasoning - He offers His guarantee of Himself found in filling us with purity, based on the Cross - as we believe and receive Him - obedience follows out of love - faithfully. Abundant life and prosperity is His Chapter and verse for He is author of it, and He is the Authority of all things created. We must be careful not to claim the position of telling God what is best for us.
Getting an answer to my prayer pales in comparison to receiving more of Jesus, and knowing Him well.For this is getting my prayers answered and then some.

I pray now to be filled up and overflowing, not to enjoy life, but rather to invest in it - so I have just enough to be poured out and broken for His will and for others as I have seen the vision of (Ephesians 1:16-23); and it has become my revelation in spirit. My life is for just a fleeting speck in time on this planet so I must tarry on with all God can mustard up in me to lift Him up so He can draw all men to Himself - as I am heading toward Eternity - in sweats running the race.
