What happens when you post, is that any post that was made during the time you were composing your post, and posted after whichever one you quoted, is not completely updated, meaning, the ability to "Like " is not there, even though you can see the post. Previous posts to yours have the "Like" option available, because it was there even before you posted your message. Refreshing the page, as was suggested, updates the posts following yours, and then the "Like" option appears
