Y''all, excluding the couple of exceptions I've seen so far, are apparently conveniently forgetting that Obamacare cost $110,000,000,000 in one year alone! And you want to gripe about a measly 18? For a wall that supports, & is obedient, to the Word of God? How any Christian can be against, with the audacity to mock, obedience to God's Holy, Righteous, & Just Word by anyone, especially our President, is beyond my simple understanding.
The problem is progressives have taken over the Democrat Party. Progressives are far to the left of liberals. Liberals held many of the same values as conservatives like being Christians and wanting this country to have a better way of helping those who needed help. Progressives tend to reject God and want to fundamentally transform this country like Obama said he wanted to do. After Dodd Frank financial law and Obama Care was passed the country voted in Republicans at the mid term elections and remained there since. Unable to kill Obama Care because of a few rinos they are killing it by not funding it letting it wither and die.
There is a major problem in this country. Less than half of the people go to church and too many of the churches don't preach the gospel message. All of the 7 sisters have been taken over by secular people. Gary North wrote Crossed Fingers documenting the secular take over of Presbyterian USA in 1932. That year the last believing minister in charge of some church money was defrocked to remove him from the church so the secular ministers would be in charge of the money. There are still a few ministers that preach the gospel in the denomination but their number is shrinking. Presbyterian PCA was created as a result. There are also other Presbyterian denominations that still preach the gospel. This holds true for the other denominations like Lutheran for example. Lutheran Missouri Synod is an example of one. I talked to a man from a Lutheran church after a special evening service at my church that invited the public and had a time after the meeting to gather together with refreshments served. He was a lifetime member of a local Lutheran church and was astonished to hear the gospel message for the first time. This is a major problem in the church today.

Thank you for your reply, Endoscopy. I know what the problem is, although, not quite to the extent you do. We have, as a nation, turned our backs on the Lord, the majority of individuals in our country have turned their backs on the Lord, and our so-called preachers, like you said, only preach a "soft" gospel and/or are "feel good" preachers. So, I agree with what you said. It's a sad state of affairs. And, to see it in here, is shocking.
They do. And they have no clue, nor do they want one, they're skating on very thin spiritual ice. They're like those talked about in the Psalms, who say, "Who's watching us? No one sees what wicked things we're doing or we're planning to do. Where is your God now?" All full of pride and arrogance. But God does see everything and He, the Lord Almighty, will have His Way.
As I'm sure you know, Jesus warned us this would happen. He told us to beware of the mockers and scorners; that because He was persecuted first, then so would we be also. You are right to be afraid for America. As she stands now, she's in mortal and eternal danger. She, & her President, Donald Trump, and the nation as a whole are in desperate need of prayer and vigilance on our part.

I detest the 5 minute rule. The other boards I use have a more reasonable 15 minute rule.
I doubt that there are more than 25% of the people in the country that are Christians. The 7 big mainline churches are led by secular ministers for the most part. The smaller sub denominations are still Christian led. In fact many of them were created in response to the secularization of main denominations. Billy Graham's father in law was responsible for creating the Presbyterian PCA in response to the secular take over of Presbyterian USA. Other smaller Presbyterian denominations were created as a result. This has happened to all of the 7 sisters main line denominations. This seems to be the falling away as prophecied.

We have the self-king, trust fund kid, who gives $600,000 million to Planned Parenthood when Trump pulls the plug on it, literally billions in “aid” to Muslim countries fighting themselves and other Muslim countries, brings in 35,000 Syria so-called refugees in the hopes they will vote for him, and then abandons them to the wolves.
Then there is his economic plan - budgets balance themselves! Yes, that is what he says. And the recently released Federal Budget? Well, every single page referred to something about “gender identity!” Or “gender equality!” Meanwhile thousands of young people don’t get summer jobs, because the organizations that help the poor and needy, are all Christian, and they refuse to sign that they agree with “abortion and gender identity,” on the application for funding for Service Canada grants. And now Canada is over a trillion dollars in debt, for the first time every. Because every penny Trudeau has given away has been borrowed money.
Did I mention it was his father, the Marxist “dear” leader Pierre who first gave us deficits and a debt? Except, everyone is pretty much agreed that son is actually worse than the father.
I don’t remember who said something about Canadians escaping to the US, but if he wins another election, I might be one of those people. I have lots of American relatives. Maybe I can billet myself around and stay till my welcome is worn out?? I have one cousin in Scottsdale with a beautiful home and lots of bedrooms. Hmm, sounds like a plan! (He LOVES Trump!)
As for the Russians, well, they did not do nearly the damage in Canada during the last election as “Lead Now” and another liberal California group that spent millions on internet memes condemning Harper and talking about how Trudeau would be great, because he dances Bhangra so well. I guess that didn’t work out so well in India, last trip! Anyway, there is no doubt in my mind these Californians tipped the balance in him winning. And we have a law against any third party advertising during elections, but they snuck in through the internet and social media, and just destroyed Harper, who kept this country doing well during a world wide recession, and balanced the books! The Liberals only got 37% of the vote, yet they have a majority government. That is just not right!
So, Americans, build that wall! We are sick of your interference in our elections! But let me get across the border, first, ok?
