Hello Dave nice to see you again.

There seems to be a lot of repetition in your posting. Everything you have provided here has already been addressed through the scriptures and you do not respond to much that has been posted to you that disagrees with your interpretation of God’s Word. (see POST # 5870 LINKED and POST # 5871 LINKED). Did you have anything new to add or share?

Sin is breaking His Law, but you teach His Law is the 10 Commandments, this Scriptures does not teach.
WHAT IS SIN?

James 2

8, If ye fulfill the royal law according to the scripture, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself, ye do well:
9, But if ye have respect to persons, ye commit sin, and are convinced of the law as transgressors.
10, For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all.
11 For he that said, Do not commit adultery, said also, Do not kill. Now if thou commit no adultery, yet if thou kill, YOU ARE BECOME A TRANSGRESSOR OF GOD'S LAW

James is pretty clear if we brake ANY of God's Law (10 commandments) then we are a TRANSGRESSOR of God's LAW

links to...........

1 John 3
4 Whosoever commits SIN transgresses also the law: for SIN is the transgression of the law.
John is in agreement with James and states that if we TRANSGRESS God's LAW then we commit SIN because SIN IS THE TRANSGRESSION OF GOD'S LAW. So it is very clear that SIN is breaking ANY of God's LAW (10 commandments)
Links to...........

Romans 7

7 What shall we say then? Is the law sin? God forbid. Nay, I had not known SIN, but by the law: for I had not known lust, except the law had said, Thou shalt not covet.

Well here we have Paul in agreement with James and John also telling us that SIN is breaking God's commandments and uses the 10th commandment as an example of breaking any of God's LAW (10 commandments) = SIN (Exodus 20:17)

Links to............

Romans 3

20, Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: FOR BY THE LAW IS THE KNOWLEDGE OF SIN.
Once again Paul is in agreement with John and James which all agree together that if we break ANY of God's LAW (10 commandments) we commit SIN because as James, John and Paul all agree together that SIN is breaking ANY of God's 10 commandments.

God's Word is in disagreement with you my friend. SIN is the transgression of God's LAW (10 commandments)

Seems God’s Word disagrees with you Dave.

SIN is the breaking of God's Commandments (James 2:9-11; Romans 7:7; 1 John 3:4)

Those who CONTINUE in UNREPENTANT SIN will NOT enter into the KINGDOM of HEAVEN.

.......................

God's 4th commandment is one of the ten (Exodus 20:8-11) If we knowingly break it when God asks us not to we stand guilty before God of committing sin (James 2:8-12). If we do not seek him in repentance and forgiveness we are in danger of the Judgement (Hebrews 10:26-27)

Sunday worship is a tradition and teaching of man that has led many to break the commandments of God. Jesus says that if we follow the traditions of man that break the commandments of God we are not following God (Matthew 15:3-9)

There is not one scripture in all of God's Word that says that God's 4th Commandment is now ABOLISHED and we are now commanded to KEEP Sunday as a Holy day.

Who should we follow the teachings and traditions of men or the Word of God? Who should we believe the Words of men or the Word of God?

In times of ignorance God winks at but now ,<when a KNOWLEDGE of the truth has come> calls all men everywhere to REPENT (FOLLOW) (Acts 17:30-31).

When Jesus said " A NEW commandment I give unto you, Love One Another" He effectively made all other commandments OLD. Here is something that you cannot dispute. Jesus Christ COMMANDS US to Love One Another, He NEVER Commanded us to keep the 10 Commandments. That is a FACT and is undisputable. Else show the verse where Jesus teaches KEEP THE 10 Commandments. You do error and are blinded by a false doctrine that satan started.

Where is ther scritpures that says "He effectively made all other commandments OLD" or in your implication abolished? Here you go Dave I think God's Word disputes your claims. It looks like Jesus disagrees with you.

Matthew 5

17, Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfill.

18, For truly I say to you, TILL HEAVEN AND EARTH PASS, ONE JOT OR ONE TITTLE SHALL IN NO WISE PASS FROM THE LAW till all be fulfilled.

19, Whoever therefore SHALL BREAK ONE OF THE LEAST OF THESE COMMANDMENTS, AND TEACH MEN TO DO SO, HE SHALL BE CALLED LEAST IN THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN; BUT WHOEVER SHALL TEACH THEM , THE SAME SHALL BE CALLED GREAT IN THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN.

Matthew 22

36, Master, which is the great commandment in the law?
37, Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
38, This is the first and great commandment.
39, And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself.
40, ON THESE TWO COMMANDMENTS HANG ALL THE LAW AND THE PROPHETS.

Jesus was quoting these two great Commandments of LOVE that ALL THE LAW AND THE PROPHETS HANG from Deuteronomy 6:5 and Leviticus 19:18

Matthew 19
16, And, behold, one came and said unto him, Good Teacher, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life?
17, And he said unto him, Why do you call me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: but IF THOU WILL ENTER INTO LIFE KEEP THE COMMANDMENTS.
18, He said unto him, WHICH? JESUS SAID, YOU SHALL DO NO MURDER, YOU SHALL NOT COMMIT ADULTERY, YOU SHALL NOT STEAL, YOU SHALL NOT BEAR FALSE WITNESS,
19, HONOR YOUR FATHER AND MOTHER AND LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF.

Looks like God’s Word disagrees with you Dave.

Jesus and all of His Disciple plainly taught for us to Believe on Jesus and to Love One Another, but you ADD to what they taught by teaching that we ALSO MUST keep the Sabbath, which they Jesus and His Apostle broke on several occasions.
Well that is not true Dave, I do not add to God’s Word. I only share God’s WORD. You teach against God’s WORD. If you BELIEVE God’s WORD then you would FOLLOW it. If you do not FOLLOW God’s WORD then you do not BELIEVE it (James 2:18-20; 26) Jesus and the Apostles never broke God’s Sabbath, they only broke mans interpretation of it. If Jesus broke God’s Law then how could he be our perfect sacrifice?

SIN is the breaking of God's Commandments (James 2:9-11; Romans 7:7; 1 John 3:4)

Those who CONTINUE in UNREPENTANT SIN will NOT enter into the KINGDOM of HEAVEN.

.......................

God's 4th commandment is one of the ten (Exodus 20:8-11) If we knowingly break it when God asks us not to we stand guilty before God of committing sin (James 2:8-12). If we do not seek him in repentance and forgiveness we are in danger of the Judgement (Hebrews 10:26-27)

Here is another indisputable FACT. The Old Testament was very clear about keeping the Sabbath, punishable by death if you didn't. Over and over and over again, it plainly and clearly taught Keep the Sabbath. The New Testament, does not teach even ONCE to keep the Sabbath, NOT ONCE.
SABBATH TEACHINGS OF THE NEW TESTAMENT

In the NEW TESTAMENT building on the OLD the scriptures teach that.....

1. Jesus taught that it is lawful to do GOOD on the Sabbath? (Matt 12:1-8; 10-12; 24:20; Mark 3:1-5; Luke 6:1-10; 13:14-16; 14:1-5; John 7:22-23; 9:14; Mark 1:21; Mark 6:2; Luke 4:16; 31; Luke 14:1; 23:56)

2. Jesus taught that God's Sabbath was made for mankind and not man for the Sabbath rebuking the tradtions of the Jew in regards to their traditions and interpretation around Sabbath keeping? (Mark 2:27-28; Matthew 12:8)

3. Jesus taught that he was the maker and creator of the Sabbath and the God of creation? (Hebrews 1:2; John 1:1-3; 14; Ephesians 3:9; Colossians 1:16-17; Mark 2:27)

4. Jesus is our example who kept the Sabbath as well as all those who followed him (Matt 12:1-8; 10-12; 24:20; Mark 3:1-5; Luke 6:1-10; 13:14-16; 14:1-5; John 7:22-23; 9:14; Mark 1:21; Mark 6:2; Luke 4:16; 31; Luke 14:1; 23:56; John 2:6; Matt 16:24; Acts 13:14; 13:27; 13:44; 15:21; 16:13; 17:2; 18:4; Rev 1:10)

5. Jesus taught that break God's Commandments and teach others to do so will not enter God's Kingdom? (Matt 5:19)

6. Jesus taught that not a jot or tittle will pass from God's LAW until heaven and earth pass away? (Matthew 5:18)

7. Jesus taught that on the two great commandments of LOVE to GOD and MAN hang ALL the LAW and the prophets (Matthew 22:36-40)

8.
Paul warns us that those who do NOT believe and follow GOD do not enter into God's Sabbath rest because of their SINS and UNBELIEF (Hebrews 3-4)

9. Jesus, Paul, James, John and Peter taught there is 10 Commandments including the Sabbath and not 9 commandments and if you break one of God's Commandments you stand guilty before God of breaking all of them (James 2:8-12).

10. Timothy teaches that ALL SCRIPTURE (OLD AND NEW Testament) is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness (2 Timothy 3:16)

Why would Jesus and the Apostles give us further instruction in relation to Sabbath keeping building on the OLD TESTAMENET scriptures if we no longer need to keep it? (Point 1, 2, 3, 6)

Looks like God’s Word disagrees with you again Dave.

Is not keeping the Sabbath to do no work on that day? Lev_23:3 Six days shall work be done: but the seventh day is the sabbath of rest, an holy convocation; ye shall do no work therein: it is the sabbath of the LORD in all your dwellings.
Dave you do know you are quoting ORDINANCES from the annual Jewish festivals right which were a part of the Shadow laws from the Mosaic book of the OLD COVENANT fulfilled in Christ. If you want to add something to the discussion and OP can you suggest you read the OP here? God’s 4[SUP]th[/SUP] Commandment can be found in Exodus 20:8-11.

Please take notice that it is JESUS, the Lord, that said this, for look at verse 1: Lev 23:1 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, So Jesus told Moses there is to be NO WORK done on the Sabbath. Yet we see Jesus in the Flesh saying plainly "I WORK" Joh 5:16 And therefore did the Jews persecute Jesus, and sought to slay him, because he had done these things on the sabbath day. But Jesus answered them, My Father worketh hitherto, and [FONT=&quot]I work[/FONT]. Are you hearing that? Jesus under the old Covenant plainly teaches to do no work on the Sabbath, but under the New Covenant we don't hear Jesus saying that all, do we? He Himself even testifies that HE WORKS on the Sabbath. The pharisees condemned Jesus because He actually did work on the Sabbath.
God’s 4[SUP]th[/SUP] Commandment reads…

Exodus 20
8, Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy. 9, Six days shall you labor, and do all your work:
10, But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD your God: in it you shall not do any work, you, nor your son, nor your daughter, your manservant, nor your maidservant, nor your cattle, nor your stranger that is within your gates: 11, For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested the seventh day: therefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.

Hebrew and Greek Dictionaries w/TVM, Strong - WORK H4399 meaning מלאכה; melâ'kâh; mel-aw-kaw' From the same as H4397; properly deputyship, that is, ministry; generally employment (never servile) or work (abstractly or concretely); also property as the result of labor: - business, + cattle, + industrious, occupation, (+ -pied), + officer, thing (made), use, (manner of) work ([-man], -manship).

In the days of Jesus the religious teachers of the day had placed so many restrictions and traditions around Sabbath keeping that it had become a burden on the people so much so that the religious teachers of the day even accused the CREATOR of the Sabbath of breaking it and made out that mankind was made for the Sabbath. These were man made teachings that had no basis in the scriptures.

Jesus taught that God made the Sabbath for mankind and not man for the Sabbath and that he was the LORD and creator of the Sabbath and it is lawful to do good on the Sabbath (Mark 2:27-28; Matthew 12:8; Matt 12:1-8; 10-12; 24:20; Mark 3:1-5; Luke 6:1-10; 13:14-16; 14:1-5; John 7:22-23; 9:14; Mark 1:21; Mark 6:2; Luke 4:16; 31; Luke 14:1; 23:56)

Jesus never broke the Sabbath otherwise he could not be our perfect sacrifice. The Word in the 4[SUP]th[/SUP] Commandment for WORK is secular employment, business and any other unnecessary work that can be done on any other day of the week. Doing God’s WORK is NOT the same as earning a living, doing business transactions and doing unnecessary domestic duties.

Seems like God’s Word disagrees with you again Dave.

SIN is the breaking of God's Commandments (James 2:9-11; Romans 7:7; 1 John 3:4)

LoveGodForever teaches His Commandments are the 10 Commandments. Jesus NEVER taught that. Apostle NEVER taught that. Scriptures teaches His Commandments are to believe on Jesus and to Love One Another. Anyone who ADDS more to that, is in danger of bringing plagues upon him/herself.
This has already been shown through the scriptures and previous posts to not be true. Happy to share the scriptures again if you like.

Jesus taught the 10 commandments…..

1. Jesus kept God’s Law (10 commandments) and said the Law and the prophets would not pass away (Matt 5:17-18)
2. Jesus taught others to follow the 10 commandments (Mark 10:17-21)
3. Jesus taught that Love is the fulfilling (doing) of God’s Law (10 commandments Matt 22:36-40)
4. If we break God’s Law by following man-made traditions we are not following God (Matt 15:3-9)
5. Jesus says if we commit sin we are a servant of sin and he has come to free us from sin (John 8:32-36)
6. Jesus taught if you love God you will keep God’s Law and abide in His Love (John 14:15; 15:10
7. If anyone is breaking any of God’s commandments and teaching others to do so will be called least in the kingdom of heaven <least = lost> (Matt 5:19)
8. No one can obey God’s Law producing the fruit of obedience of ourselves and unless we abide in Jesus we can do nothing (John 15:4-10)

Paul affirms the Ten Commandments……

1. Paul teaches God's people keep the Sabbath Hebrews 4.
2. Paul tells gentiles that "what matters is KEEPING the Commandments of GOD" 1 Cor 7:19
3. Paul tells gentiles "it is not the HEARERS of the Law that are just before God but the DOERS of the Law will be justified... on the day when according to my GOSPEL God will judge all mankind" Rom 2:13-16
4. Paul asks that gentiles consider the doctrine of LAW "Do we then make void the LAW of God by our faith? God forbid! In fact we establish the Law of God" Rom 3:31
5. Paul tells ALL Christians that it is only the lost who will "not subject themselves to the Law of God neither indeed CAN they" Rom 8:6-8
6 Paul reaches all Christians under the NEW Covenant that God's LAW as known in Jer 31:31-33 is "written on the heart and mind" Heb 8:7-11
7. Paul tells all Christians that the OT text is to be used for Doctrine 2Tim 3:16
AND He never claims that "if I did not write it -- it is not scripture for us today" -- as one or two have imagined for us.
8. Paul tells all Christians that the 5th commandment is the "FIRST commandment with a promise" Eph 6:1-2 and is binding on all Christians.
9. God's Law (10 commandments) are holy, just and good (Rom 7:12)
10. God's Law gives us a knowledge of what sin is (Rom 3:20; 7:7)
11. The penalty of breaking God's Law without Jesus is death (Rom 6:23)
12. If we break God's Law we dishonor God (Rom 2:23)
13. If we sin we are "under the Law" and guilty before God (Rom 3:19)
14. We are saved by faith but our faith establishes the Law in us (Rom 3:31)
15. If we are saved by grace we should not break God's Law (Rom 6:1-7)
16. We should not break God's Law if we are under grace (Rom 6:15)
17. We are to serve the Law of God through the mind because that is where sin starts (Rom 6:17; 7:25; 8:4; 12:2)
18. It is God's Law that brings us to Jesus (Gal 3:24)
19. God's salvation frees us from sin so we can be obedient to God's Law and live a life of holiness (Rom 6:22)
20. We will be judged by God's Law and only those that are obedient will be justified because of their faith (Rom 2:4-13)
21. God's Law can only be obeyed through love and a changed heart which comes by faith in God's Word (Rom 2:21-29; 13:9-10; Heb 8:9-10)
22. If we break God's Law and are in unrepentant sin we will be lost and will received God's judgements (Heb 10:26-27)

John affirms the 10 commandments……

1. John says it is only by keeping God’s 10 commandments that we know that we know God (1 John 2:3)
2. If someone says that they know God and do not keep God’s 10 commandments they are lying and not telling the truth (1 John 2:4)
3. We should purify ourselves as Jesus is pure (1 John 3:3)
4. Sin is the breaking of God’s 10 commandments (1 John 3:4)
5. Whoever is abiding in Christ does not commit sin (1 John 3:6; John 15:4-10)
6. If you are in unrepentant sin you have not seen Jesus or know him (1 John 3:6)
7. John warns us that only those that are obedience to God’s Law are his true followers (1 John 3:7)
8. If someone is committing unrepentant sin they are following the devil and not God (1 John 3:7)
9. If you are born of God and abiding in him you will not commit sin (1 John 3:9; 1 John 3:6; John 15:4-10
10. It is the keeping of God’s commandments that is the difference between those that are following God and those that are not following God (1 John 3:10; 1 John 5:3)
11. It is only by Love through faith that we can keep God’s commandments (1 John 5:3-4)
12. God’s true believers in the end days will keep all of God’s commandments through faith in Jesus (Rev 14:12; 22:14)

James also affirms the 10 commandments…….

1. James says God’s Law (10 commandments) are a Royal Law (James 2:8)
2. If we break one of God’s commandments we a guilty before God as sinners breaking all of God’s Law and gave some examples of breaking God’s Law (James 2:9-11)

4. The 10 commandments (God’s Law) are the standard in the judgment (James 2:12)

Peter affirms the 10 commandments……..

1. Sanctification is to obedience to God’s Law (1 Pet 1:2)
2. We can only be changed from sin to obedience to God’s Law by the power of God and it will be revealed in the last days (1 Pet 1:5)
3. We should give up our sins to be holy because Jesus is holy (1 Pet 1:13-16)
4. Jesus is your example who did no sin (1 Pet 2:21-22)
5. Cease from sin and do not live in the flesh (1 Pet 4:1-3)
6. Judgement will begin at the house of God and sinners (those breaking God’s 10 commandments) will not be saved.
7. God has given us his precious promises and as we believe them God will grant us his divine power to live a life of Godliness (obedience to God’s Law; 2 Pet 1:2-4)
8. The Un-Godly (disobedient to God’s Law) will be like Sodom and Gomorrah (2 Pet 2:6)
9. If any turn away from God’s Law and are in unrepentant sin breaking any of God’10 commandments they will be lost (2 Pet 2:20-22)
10 God is not willing that any should perish but that everyone should come to repentance and turn away from sin to follow God’s 10 commandments because those that do not will receive the judgements of God (2 Pet 3:5-14)

What did Jesus and the Apostles teach about the Sabbath in the New Testament?

1. It is lawful to do good on the Sabbath (Matt 12:1-8; 10-12; 24:20; Mark 3:1-5; Luke 6:1-10; 13:14-16; 14:1-5; John 7:22-23; 9:14; Mark 1:21; Mark 6:2; Luke 4:16; 31; Luke 14:1; 23:56)
2. Jesus made the Sabbath for all mankind (Hebrews 1:2; John 1:1-3; 14; Ephesians 3:9; Colossians 1:16-17; Mark 2:27)
3. Jesus is Lord of the Sabbath (Mark 2:28)
4. If you do not believe and follow God you cannot enter His Sabbath rest (Hebrews 4)
5. It is one of God’s 10 commandments we break it we are guilty or breaking all (James 2:8-12)
6. Breaking it is sin (1 John 3:4)
7. God’s true followers keep it Holy as God commanded (Rev 14:12; Rev 22:14; Eze 20:20)
8. Jesus is our example and he kept the Sabbath (Matt 12:1-8; 10-12; 24:20; Mark 3:1-5; Luke 6:1-10; 13:14-16; 14:1-5; John 7:22-23; 9:14; Mark 1:21; Mark 6:2; Luke 4:16; 31; Luke 14:1; 23:56; John 2:6; Matt 16:24; 1 Cor 11:1; Eph 5:1-21; Pet 2:20-22)
9. The Apostle kept the Sabbath (Acts 13:14; 13:27; 13:44; 15:21; 16:13; 17:2; 18:4; Rev 1:10)

God’s Law in the NC is written on our hearts it is through love and it is love the fulfils God’s Law in us as we walk not after the flesh but after the spirit and is why Jesus says f you love me keep my commandments. (John 14:15; John 15:10). If we knowingly break one of God’s commandments we commit sin (1 John 3:4). This includes the 7th Day Sabbath which Jesus made for us and commands us to keep as a holy day.

Seems like God’s Jesus and the Apostles all disagree with you Dave…

And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ

Revelation 14
12,
Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.

............

WHO ARE THOSE THAT RECEIVE ETERNAL LIFE?

Revelation 22
14, Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life,
and may enter in through the gates into the city.

Only God's Word is true and we should BELIEVE and FOLLOW it. Those who reject God's WORD will be judged by God's WORD (John 12:47-48).

SIN is the breaking of ANY of God’s Commandments (James 3:9-11; Romans 7:7; 1 John 3:4)

ALL who CONTINUE in KNOWN UNREPENTANT SIN WILL be LOST and NOT Enter into the KINGDOM of HEAVEN.

.................

Sunday worship is a tradition and teaching of man that has lead many to break the commandments of God.

Maybe some more tommorrow friends, late my time :)

another fundamental issue that may come up

do you use the kjv as the final authority on scripture? or do you also allow modern versions?
25 years ago when I spent so much time in study I used many translations. I think there are translation problems in all of them, but I also believe God has preserved His Truth so that the diligent who seek Him can find Him.

Given all the warnings Jesus gave us about "men coming in Christ's Name" deceiving people, I try and stay away from translations which have commentary.

I like the KJV personally because I came to the knowledge of truth through it. But I also understand that any truth I may have comes from above.

So no, I don't think God's Truth comes exclusively through the KJV, but I believe the truth can be found there if God opens the eyes to see it.

I also believe there is a lot of "translation hunting" where people seek out translations which are better suited to further their religious traditions. Many of the "New Age" Bibles are designed for this purpose in my opinion.

Under the NEW COVENANT gentile BELIEVERS are now grafted in to God's Israel (Romans 11:17-27).

God's Israel in the NEW COVENANT are those that BELIEVE GOD'S WORD and FOLLOW it. (Galatians 3:16; Romans 9:6; Galatians 3:28-29; Colossians 3:11; Romans 10:11-13; Romans 2:28-29).

If you are not a part of God's Israel, then you have NO PART in the NEW COVENANT
(Jeremiah 31:33-4; Hebrews 8:10-12; Hebrews 10:14-17; Hebrews 8:10-12).

You cannot disregard the OLD Testament scriptures that are the foundation of the NEW Testament. The NEW Testament is built on the Old Testament and together they are the Word of God. Do you disagree?

Most of the scriptures provided to you in easrlier posts are all from the NEW Testament in regards to God's Sabbath, with instruction that builds on the OLD Testament Scriptures that have already beren given in Exodus 20:8-11 of which God's people had already received.

In the NEW Testament Jesus taught us that;

It seems in your view according to the NEW TESTAMENT scriptures.....

1. Jesus did not teach that it is lawful to do GOOD on the Sabbath? (Matt 12:1-8; 10-12; 24:20; Mark 3:1-5; Luke 6:1-10; 13:14-16; 14:1-5; John 7:22-23; 9:14; Mark 1:21; Mark 6:2; Luke 4:16; 31; Luke 14:1; 23:56)

2. In your view; Jesus did not teach that God's Sabbath was made for mankind and not man for the Sabbath rebuking the tradtions of the Jew in regards to their traditions and interpretation around Sabbath keeping? (Mark 2:27-28; Matthew 12:8)

3. In your view; Jesus did not teach that he was the maker and creator of the Sabbath and the God of creation? (Hebrews 1:2; John 1:1-3; 14; Ephesians 3:9; Colossians 1:16-17; Mark 2:27)

4. In your view; Jesus is not our example who kept the Sabbath as well as all those who followed him (Matt 12:1-8; 10-12; 24:20; Mark 3:1-5; Luke 6:1-10; 13:14-16; 14:1-5; John 7:22-23; 9:14; Mark 1:21; Mark 6:2; Luke 4:16; 31; Luke 14:1; 23:56; John 2:6; Matt 16:24; Acts 13:14; 13:27; 13:44; 15:21; 16:13; 17:2; 18:4; Rev 1:10)

5. In your view; was Jesus was lying when he said those that break God's Commandments and teach others to do so will not enter God's Kingdom? (Matt 5:19)

6. In your view; Jesus was lying when he said not a jot or tittle will pass from God's LAW until heaven and earth pass away? (Matthew 5:18)

7. In your view; Jesus was lying when he said that on the two great commandments of LOVE to GOD and MAN hang ALL the LAW and the prophets? (Matthew 22:36-40)

8.
In your view; Paul is not to be believed when he gives us warnings that those who do NOT believe and follow GOD
do not enter into God's Sabbath rest because of their SINS and UNBELIEF (Hebrews 3-4)?

9. In your view; there is only 9 Commandments not 10 and James is lying when he says that if you break one of God's Commandments you stand guilty before God of breaking all of them (James 2:8-12).

10. In your view; the OLD Testament scriptures are not to be BELIEVED, and Timothy is not to be believed when he says ALL SCRIPTURE is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness (2 Timothy 3:16)

11. In your view; God's 4th Commandment is not one of God's 10 Commandments

Why would Jesus and the Apostles give us further instruction in relation to Sabbath keeping building on the OLD TESTAMENET scriptures if we no longer need to keep it? (Point 1, 2, 3, 6)

If your understanding of the scriptures are correct you will have no problems providing scripture for the following questions;

Please feel free to show us from the Scriptures........

1. That God's 4th Commandment has now been ABOLISHED and we are now commanded to keep Sunday as a HOLY day?

2. That Jesus is a Sabbath?

3. The Sabbath (seventh day) was ever changed from the seventh to the first day of the week?

4. Where we are told to keep the first day of the week holy?

5. Where the first day of the week (Sunday) is ever called a holy day?

6. That says that Jesus ever kept the first day (Sunday)?

7. That tells us to keep the first day in honour of the resurrection of Christ?

8. Where the first day is ever given any sacred name?

9. That affirms that any of the apostles ever kept the first day as the Sabbath?

10. From any apostolic writings that authorizes Sunday observance as the Sabbath of God?

11. Where we are told not to work on the first day of the week?

12. That says the seventh day is no longer God's Sabbath day?

13. That says the seventh day Sabbath is ABOLISHED?

14. Where the apostles ever taught any convert to keep the first day of the week as a Sabbath?

15. Where the first day was ever appointed to be kept as the Lord's Day?

16. Where the first day of the week is ever called the Lord's Day?

17. That says that the first day of the week was ever sanctified and hallowed as a day of rest?

18. That says that the Father or the Son (Jesus) rested on the first day of the week?

19. That says that Jesus, Paul or any other of the apostles taught anyone to observe the first day of the week as the Sabbath?

20. That calls the seventh day the “Jewish Sabbath” or one text that calls Sunday the “Christian Sabbath”?

21. Telling man to keep the first day of the week holy or to worship or rest on the first day of the week?

22. Authorizing anyone to set aside God's Sabbath and observe any other day?

23. Showing any of the apostles keeping the first day of the week as the Sabbath?

24. Authorizing someone to set aside the fourth Commandment and observe any other day of the week?

25. Where any apostle taught us to keep the first day of the week as the Sabbath?

26. Declaring that the seventh day is no longer the Eternal Sabbath day?

27. Where Sunday is now appointed to be kept as the New Testament Sabbath or holy day?

If your lamp has gone out how can you find your way when the road is dark and narrow is the way?

Those who CONTINUE in UNREPENTANT SIN will NOT enter into the KINGDOM of HEAVEN.

God's Sheep hear his Voice.

His sheep hear His Voice and are led by His Spirit. But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law. Galatians 5:18

Hi JBL, welcome here.

Indeed. To be "UNDER THE LAW" means to be under the penaly and condemnation of the law as a sinner.

Romans 3
19,
Now we know that what things soever the law said, it said to them who are under the law: that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God.
20, Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin.

If we are led by God's Spirit we are indeed not under the condemnation and penalty of God's LAW because we have been FORGIVEN through FAITH in God's WORD.

Those who are still practicing KNOWN UNREPENTANT SIN however are not walking in God's Spirit. They also do not have God's Spirit neither do they KNOW God because they are still in their SINS and guilty before God of breaking His Commandments.

Acts 5:32, And we are his witnesses of these things; and so is also the Holy Ghost, whom God has given to them that obey him.

1 John 2
3,
And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments.
4, He that said, I know him, and keeps not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.

1 John 3
3, And every man that has this hope in him purifies himself, even as he is pure.
4, Whoever commits sin transgresses also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.
5, And you know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin.
6, Whoever abides in him sins not: whoever sins has not seen him, neither known him.
7, Little children, let no man deceive you: he that does righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous.
8, He that commits sin is of the devil; for the devil sins from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.
9, Whoever is born of God does not commit sin; for his seed remains in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.
10, In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whoever does not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loves not his brother.

I noticed in this post of yours you just keep saying the same thing over and over but you do not address the post your are quoting from or all the scriptures in God's Word that disagree with your tradition. Did you want to respond to the post you are quoting from and all the scriptures and questions in the post that were asked?

Simply ignoring the post and scriptures in them do not make all the scriptures and questions in that post magically disappear. You do not need to respond to the post your quoting from if you cannot.

Maybe you should pray about it more at home? I look forward to your reply so we can further the conversation. Just saying the same thing over and over without addressing all the posts, scriptures and questions sent to you does not really further a conversation however and only shows your not interested in discussing the topic.

This is ok if that is the case your salvation is between you and God and I do not judge you as it is God's Word that will judge us all in the last day.

John 7:16-17, "Yahshua answered, them, and said: My doctrine is not Mine, but His Who sent Me. If any man will do His will, he will know about this teaching, whether it comes from YHWH, or whether I am speaking of My own authority."

It seems to be a problem that many who read Sdcdriptured bedliedve Hisd wdords are done away post Sacrifice

this is not so;

Mat 24:35, “Heaven and earth may pass away, but My teachings will not pass away.”

Thus many don't seek to behave like He does, not saying I do, I am not perfect, but I do know that He is the ONLY Shepherd/Leaer/Master and we should look to Him for everythiung concerning YHWH and our lives.

John 13:15, “For I (Yahshua) gave you an example, that you should do as I have done to you.”

1 Peter 2:21, “This is, in fact, what you were called to do, because Christ also suffered for you and left an example for you to follow in His steps.”

1 John 1:26, “The one who says that he abides in him must live the same way he (Yahshua) himself lived.”

John 5:43, “I have come in My Father's Name, but you do not follow Me. Let another come in his own name; him you will follow.”

heaven and earth will pass away but not the Word of God

It doesn't mean you have to do rest only on Sabbath physically, or kill Sabbath violator, or make animal sacrifice.

Not pass away but it fulfill in spiritual way, so when you came to Jesus, you observe Sabbath.

Only a man that come to Jesus know what it mean

carnal Christian do not know and they think to observe Sabbath mean not work on Sabbath, not cook on Sabbath, not kindle of fire on Sabbath, but they drive a car, it mean kindle of fire.

It is end time, so people doing against the Lord, disparaging the cross and think they glorified the Lord

physical Sabbath observance is disparaging the cross because they think the cross not powerful enough to give a real rest or real Sabbath

note Sabbath mean rest, so real Sabbath mean real rest.

They accused Jesus lie when He say: came to me ye who labor and heavy laden, I give you rest/Sabbath.

they say, Jesus must be lie and do not believe Him, we need observe physical Sabbath.

I believe Jesus not and never lie, so I do observe Sabbath every day with Jesus. real not fake.

I agree and the Bible confirms.

4 There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling;5 One Lord, one faith, one baptism,
6 One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.

So then this One Body, this one Spirit, this one Lord, this one God and Father of all became Flesh in the Person of Jesus.

I always found this Biblical fact fascinating. It was Jesus who spoke to Cain and Noah, and Moses. It was Jesus who created the earth and all that is therein.

It was this Jesus who spoke to Cain.

7 If thou doest well, shalt thou not be accepted? and if thou doest not well, sin lieth at the door. And unto thee shall be his desire, and thou shalt rule over him.

Do you believe this teaching of Jesus has been changed or been eliminated by Him?
in the sense that the father is God and God took in flesh, then yes

but i don't think the father is the same as Jesus

Simply stating your word over God's WORD does not make God's WORD disappear my friend. It is on the WORD of God we stand or fall. You have not provided anything except your own words that you put forth over God's. There is nothing hidden that shall not be revealed come judgement day. Those that hide in darkness today will not be able to hide when the light is turned on.

How can you find your way when the road is dark and narrow and your lamp has gone out?

Sin is breaking His Law, but you teach His Law is the 10 Commandments, this Scriptures does not teach. When Jesus said " A NEW commandment I give unto you, Love One Another" He effectively made all other commandments OLD. Here is something that you can not dispute. Jesus and all of His Disciple plainly taught for us to Believe on Jesus and to Love One Another, but you ADD to what they taught by teaching that we ALSO MUST keep the Sabbath, which they Jesus and His Apostle broke on several occasions.

Hi Dave,

Interesting quote there. I might add that it seems you may be missing an important Biblical fact.

Col. 1:15 Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:16 For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:
17 And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.

So this means it was Jesus who said;

Duet. 30:19 I (Jesus) call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I (Jesus) have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live:
20 That thou mayest love the LORD thy God, and that thou mayest obey his voice, and that thou mayest cleave unto him: for he is thy life, and the length of thy days: that thou mayest dwell in the land which the LORD sware unto thy fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give them.

And again;

John 14:21
He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.

So Jesus taught us to "love one another" in Leviticus 19, Yes?

Lev. 19:17 Thou shalt not hate thy brother in thine heart: thou shalt in any wise rebuke thy neighbour, and not suffer sin upon him.
18 Thou shalt not avenge, nor bear any grudge against the children of thy people, but thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself: I am the LORD (Jesus).

34 But the stranger that dwelleth with you shall be unto you as one born among you, and thou shalt love him as thyself; for ye were strangers in the land of Egypt: I am the LORD (Jesus) your God.

These are the "Sayings" or "His (Jesus') Commandments" are they not? Did He also say "14 Thou shalt not curse the deaf, nor put a stumblingblock before the blind, but shalt fear thy God: I am the LORD (Jesus). Do you preach this is "Old" and we are to reject this Commandment of Jesus as well?

How about "11 Ye shall not steal, neither deal falsely, neither lie one to another." Shall I discard this Commandment of Jesus as "Old"?

How about "4 Turn ye not unto idols, nor make to yourselves molten gods: I am the LORD (Jesus) your God.

Are we to reject this Commandment of Jesus as well? Of course you would say no.

So why would you preach to reject this one?

30 Ye shall keep my (Jesus') sabbaths, and reverence my (Jesus) sanctuary: I am the LORD (Jesus).

I would ask, "Why are you cherry picking which of Jesus Word's you honor and respect, and which you judge as "old" and not worthy of your respect?

37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
38 This is the first and great commandment.
39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.

It seems you are preaching that these two old Testament Commandments eliminate, destroy, make void the Sabbath Jesus created for man, rather that what Jesus said which is His Teaching "hangs", or "is founded" on these two great Commandments.

Why is it OK to accept some of Jesus' Words, and judge and reject others?

You said:

The pharisees condemned Jesus because He actually did work on the Sabbath. Do you know who else condemns people for not keeping the Sabbath? The user with the screen name LoveGodForever.
Jesus said the Pharisees were liars, children of satan. Why would you take their word over the Word's of Jesus? Can you find anywhere in the Law and Prophets where it is against God's Law to take a walk in fellowship with God and eat a strawberry or ear of corn? How about helping a brother in need, can you find where God commanded it a sin to help a brother on His Sabbath?

You can't Dave, because it isn't there. Jesus didn't break His own Sabbath, He broke the Mainstream Preachers of His time version of their Sabbath. They had a religion, they claimed the God of Abraham as their God, but Jesus exposed them.

Matt. 15:7 Ye hypocrites, well did Esaias prophesy of you, saying,
8 This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me.
9 But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men. (Not God)

So you claim Jesus broke the Sabbath, the Pharisees claim Jesus broke the Sabbath. But the Bible says Jesus didn't transgress God's Commandment even once.

I'm sure you mean well, but it appears you may be the one adding and taking away from the Holy Word's of God.

No one has seen the Father who gave Jesus instructions on how to create the heavens and the earth and all that is therein. I agree with this.

10 If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love.

My point is that all the Word's spoken by the "Lord" in the Bible are the same Lord, and that Lord is Jesus.

same Lord in the sense of one God

i see a distinction here
Psalm 110: 1. The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool. - Bible Offline

How does this verse make Jesus not the God who spoke with Cain and Abraham?

same God, but some level of distinction between yhwh and Jesus
Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:

The Scriptures you quoted are certainly true; but your (mis)understanding of them is the cause of our disagreement.
Yet here you go again stating your words over God's please state what you believe is my "misunderstanding of them" and let's discuss it? If you cannot then all your showing is your empty words over God's Word. Only God's WORD is true and we should BELIEVE and FOLLOW it.

Those who CONTINUE in UNBELIEF AND UNREPENTANT SIN will NOT enter into the KINGDOM of HEAVEN.

.......................

"under the law" in Romans 3:19 is a different set of words than in Galatians 5:18

Yet it does not change the meaning of the Scripture which means "UNDER THE LAW" is to be guilty before God of SIN

Those who CONTINUE in UNBELIEF AND UNREPENTANT SIN will NOT enter into the KINGDOM of HEAVEN.
