Heb 4:10: For he that is entered into his rest [received the Gospel], he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from His.
Because of receiving the Gospel we cease from our own works as GOD did from His. "As is" is a direct comparison. So with that you must ask yourself how and when did God cease from his own works?
The answer to that is recorded in Gen 2.... on the Seventh Day, And God did rest from all His work on the seventh day (see Hebrews Verse 4 and Genesis Chapter 2:1-3).
God Is a Spiritual Being he is always in the state of Spiritual Rest. HE did not enter into the Rest of the GOSPEL. On the Seventh Day the Sabbath he ceased from the physical labor of creation. And this is recorded in Genesis 2.

Therefore they that have received the Gospel Rest, cease from their own physical work as God did from His physical work on the 7th day Sabbath. And this is, was and will continue to be done on the Seventh day of the week.

The Text is referring to the son of Nun. However Yoshua is Jesus' Hebrew name. The English translation of the Greek is Jesus. 935 times it is translated Jesus and if memory serves me right only two times is it referring to someone other than are Savior.

Blaspheme? Hmm....if anything it seems to me to know HIS name is Yoshua and to call HIM Jesus would be blaspheme.

Romans 6:23

Only God's Word is true and we should BELIEVE and FOLLOW him who calls us in LOVE to LOVE another.

Those who CONTINUE in KNOWN UNREPENTANT SIN will NOT enter into the KINGDOM of HEAVEN.

God's 4th commandment is one of the ten (Exodus 20:8-11) If we knowingly break it when God asks us not to we stand guilty before God of committing sin (James 2:8-12). If we do not seek him in repentance and forgiveness we are in danger of the Judgement (Hebrews 10:26-27)

Sunday worship is a tradition and teaching of man that has led many to break the commandments of God. Jesus says that if we follow the traditions of man that break the commandments of God we are not following God (Matthew 15:3-9)

There is not one scripture in all of God's Word that says that God's 4th Commandment is now ABOLISHED and we are now commanded to KEEP Sunday as a Holy day.

Who should we follow the teachings and traditions of men or the Word of God? Who should we believe the Words of men or the Word of God?

In times of ignorance God winks at but now ,<when a KNOWLEDGE of the truth has come> calls all men everywhere to REPENT (FOLLOW) (Acts 17:30-31).

It has always been that way and includes all uneccessary work that can be done on any other day of the week. Read God's 4th Commandment from Exodus 20:8-11. No Work is referring to any secular, business (this includes buying and selling, shopping) or uneccessary domestic work .

Neither, it is a sin and breaking God's 4th commandment as it can be done on the preparation day or the next day after the Sabbath.

Those who SIN against God have no rest because they are still in their SINS and do not KNOW God.

I should be asking you to prove Yahweh is the father of Jesus.

Or are you going to call Jesus a liar for telling the Jews, their Father was the Devil.

You are the children of your father, the Devil, and you want to follow your father's desires. Is the LORD mentioned here Jesus' FATHER

Exod 3:2 And appeared to him an angel of the LORD in flaming fire from out of the bush. and he saw that the bush burned with fire, but the bush did not incinerate.

And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you. (Exo 3:14)

That is Jesus. Jesus is the I AM.

Chapter and verse to back up your fantasy.

God's work was finished, His rest is forever, not one day, neither was the universe created in 6 earth days. Our rest will be forever one day. (One day meaning a period of time.)

Spiritual beings don't do physical work, so cannot rest from "HIS physical work."

He hallowed it. Set it apart for Holy use. One day we are called to rest from the works of our hands and have a day in fellowship with our fellow brothers and sisters in harmony with GOD worshiping HIM and enjoying Creation.

And when the case arises we as Christ through Christ will minister to each other as the Spirit deems fit to the edification and furtherance of HIS Kingdom.

In regards to your confusion in relation to the Creation week the LORD had set tail markers that confine what HE meant by the Day. HE mentions Evening and morning; dusk and dawn to limit and confine a day to one revolution of this planet we live on.

I'm sure the planet we live on, that did not exist would have great difficulty revolving round anything for any length of time.
