New International Version 1984 Romans 10:8-18 But what does it say? “The word is near you; it is in your mouth and in your heart,” that is, the word of faith we are proclaiming: That if you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved. As the Scripture says, “Anyone who trusts in him will never be put to shame.” For there is no difference between Jew and Gentile—the same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on him, for, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? And how can they preach unless they are sent? As it is written, “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!” But not all the Israelites accepted the good news. For Isaiah says, “Lord, who has believed our message?” Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word of Christ. But I ask: Did they not hear? Of course they did: “Their voice has gone out into all the earth, their words to the ends of the world.”
Luke 6:46 “Why do you call me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ and do not do what I say?
Matthew 28:18-20 Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
YES, to call Him LORD is to call HIM is to surrender to HIM as your MASTER. BUT that is NOT SALVATION, which is a free gift of HIS MERCY and HIS GRACE.
Romans 4:16 (NCV)

16 [/SUP] So people receive God’s promise by having faith. This happens so the promise can be a free gift. Then all of Abraham’s children can have that promise. It is not only for those who live under the law of Moses but for anyone who lives with faith like that of Abraham, who is the father of us all.
Romans 5:15 (NCV)

15 [/SUP] But God’s free gift is not like Adam’s sin. Many people died because of the sin of that one man. But the grace from God was much greater; many people received God’s gift of life by the grace of the one man, Jesus Christ.
Romans 6:23 (NRSV)

23 [/SUP] For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

3 [/SUP] For what does the Scripture say? Abraham believed God, and it was credited to him for righteousness.

4 [/SUP] Now to the one who works, pay is not considered as a gift, but as something owed.

5 [/SUP] But to the one who does not work, but believes on Him who declares the ungodly to be righteous, his faith is credited for righteousness.
We willingly serve HIM because of LOVE, and that kind of LOVE is a natural by product of GOD's LOVE that the HOLY SPIRIT poured into our hearts, Rom 5:5. It is not Salvation, IT IS LOVE FOR HIM.

We love because He first loved us.
Romans 5:8-10 (NRSV)

8 [/SUP] But God proves his love for us in that while we still were sinners Christ died for us.

9 [/SUP] Much more surely then, now that
we have been justified by his blood, will we be saved through him from the wrath of God.

For if while we were enemies, we were reconciled to God through the death of his Son, much more surely, having been reconciled, will we be saved by his life.
