Here is Paul talking about his sin nature. How do you relate this to your post.

Romans 7 NIV

14 We know that the law is spiritual; but I am unspiritual, sold as a slave to sin. 15 I do not understand what I do. For what I want to do I do not do, but what I hate I do. 16 And if I do what I do not want to do, I agree that the law is good. 17 As it is, it is no longer I myself who do it, but it is sin living in me. 18 For I know that good itself does not dwell in me, that is, in my sinful nature. For I have the desire to do what is good, but I cannot carry it out. 19 For I do not do the good I want to do, but the evil I do not want to do—this I keep on doing. 20 Now if I do what I do not want to do, it is no longer I who do it, but it is sin living in me that does it. 21 So I find this law at work: Although I want to do good, evil is right there with me. 22 For in my inner being I delight in God’s law; 23 but I see another law at work in me, waging war against the law of my mind and making me a prisoner of the law of sin at work within me. 24 What a wretched man I am! Who will rescue me from this body that is subject to death? 25 Thanks be to God, who delivers me through Jesus Christ our Lord! So then, I myself in my mind am a slave to God’s law, but in my sinful nature a slave to the law of sin.
Hello Endoscopy,

Indeed, Romans Chapters 7 and 8 go together like a hand in a glove. Romans 7 is talking about the unconverted expereince when someone comes to know God's LAW. God's LAW shows them that they are sinners in need of a Saviour but does not saved them. God's LAW only gives the knowledge of SIN and RIGHTEOUSNESS (Romans 3:20; Ps 119:172) but makes nothing perfect (Heb 7:19).

God's LAW is the schoolmaster, teaching us who we are and who the Saviour is leading the SINNER to the CROSS of CHRIST to behold what manner of LOVE that God bestowed on me a SINNER that we might BEHOLD he who died for us.

FAITH in Gods' promise of FORGIVENESS as we BELIEVE God's WORD gives us the VICTORY to OVERCOME the WORLD in those who lay hold of God's promises. THIS IS ABIDING IN CHRIST and the OPERATION OF GOD to walk IN his SPIRIT of LOVE and LOVE is the FULFILLING of God's LAW in those who BELIEVE.

.........

WALKING WITHOUT THE SPIRIT IN ROMANS 7

Romans 7 is the KNOWLEDGE OF SIN AND THE LAW OF SIN AND DEATH IN SINFUL human nature whithout GOD. THIS IS REVEALED to the SINNER by God's LAW (10 Commandments) leading the SINNER to the Saviour

Romans 7
7,
What shall we say then? Is the law sin? God forbid. No, I had not known sin, but by the law: for I had not known lust, except the law had said, You shall not covet.
8, But sin, taking occasion by the commandment, worked in me all manner of concupiscence. For without the law sin was dead.
9, For I was alive without the law once: but when the commandment came, sin revived, and I died.
10, And the commandment, which was ordained to life, I found to be to death.
11, For sin, taking occasion by the commandment, deceived me, and by it slew me.

v7-11 God's LAW gives the knowledge of SIN to the SINNER and shows him he cannot save himself...

12, Why the law is holy, and the commandment holy, and just, and good.
13, Was then that which is good made death to me? God forbid. But sin, that it might appear sin, working death in me by that which is good; that sin by the commandment might become exceeding sinful.
14, For we know that the law is spiritual: but I am carnal, sold under sin.
15, For that which I do I allow not: for what I would, that do I not; but what I hate, that do I.
16, If then I do that which I would not, I consent to the law that it is good.
17, Now then it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwells in me.
18, For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwells no good thing: for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find not.
19, For the good that I would I do not: but the evil which I would not, that I do.
20, Now if I do that I would not, it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwells in me.
Nothing wrong with Gods LAW. It is the revelation of SIN in the sinner that is the problem...
21,
I find then a law, that, when I would do good, evil is present with me.
Key scriptures here leading to Romans 8....

22,
For I delight in the law of God after the inward man:

Inward man; the mind; SIN starts in the MIND; throughts and feelings

23, But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin whi ch is in my members.
Sinful nature; law of SIN AND DEATH....

24,
O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death?
Who will save me from my sinful nature?

KEY VERSE...

25, I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin.

SIN starts in the MIND (thoughts and feelings; you have heard that it was said do not commit adultery but I say unto you whosever shall look on a woman to lust after her has already committed adutery with her in His mind) WITH THE MIND I MYSELF SERVE THE LAW OF GOD. BUT WITH THE FLESH = SARX = SINFUL HUMAN NATURE WITH PASSIONS AND WEAKNESSES PHYSICALLY AND MORALLY THE LAW OF SIN.

So it is with the MIND that we must battle temptation to SIN through FAITH in GOD'S WORD. IF we do not we will follow the LAW of SIN AND DEATH (SINFUL HUMAN NATURE).

WALKING IN THE SPIRIT IN ROMANS 8

Continuing from Romans 7:25....

1, There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh (carnal sinful mind), but after the Spirit (mind of GOD; GOd's Word).
2, For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death.
3, For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:
4, That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
5, For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.
6 , For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.
7, Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.
8, So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.
9, But you are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.
10, And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.
11, But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwells in you.
12, Therefore, brothers, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh.
13, For if you live after the flesh, you shall die: but if you through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, you shall live.
14, For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.

continues through Romans 8......

God's LAW is established in the life of those who BELIEVE and FOLLOW the WORD OF GOD....

Romans 3
31,
Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid: yes, we establish the law.

GOD'S SALVATION is WORKING in those who have FAITH in HIS WORD...

Phii 2
13, For it is God which works in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.

2 Pet 1
4,
Whereby are given to us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these you might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.
FAITH IS THE VICTORY THAT OVERCOMES THE WORLD. The GOOD NEW OF THE GOSPEL IS SALVATION FROM SIN. THE FALSE GOSPEL IS SALVATION IN SIN.

Hope this helps...

(New song this time xD https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O47bZJpnKBQ Hope it blessing you as the first one, if you were Impacted by the one I used to post, Maybe not idk, But either way I hope you enjoy this song)

All scripture is given by inspiration of God
, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished to all good works (2 Tim 3:16-17).

To say we put random scriptures together to prove our points don't really hold up in my opinion, Maybe I'm wrong, Most of these scriptures are pretty clear 1 John 2: 3And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments. 4He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. 5But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him. 6He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked... How much clearer do we need then "If you say you believe and don't keep his commandments your of your father the devil? because Satan is the father of lies....

John 8:44 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.

Now me putting those two scriptures together, does it mean I'm taking them out of chronological order no, The same message is being interoperated just in a different light, when you prepare a sermon does every scripture have to be from the same chapter? or does every verse have to be exactly the same, The bible doesn't work like that, It's explained and interoperated by the spirit, It has a different meaning for everyone in some way, of course it wont just change principals that's still their, but it will be different depending on what God plans on showing you in that particular verse or chapter.

John 16:12I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now. 13Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come. 14He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you. 15All things that the Father hath are mine: therefore said I, that he shall take of mine, and shall shew it unto you.16A little while, and ye shall not see me: and again, a little while, and ye shall see me, because I go to the Father.

The bible is just words, their many books that say "Peace be unto you" and "And Don't do this, or don't of that, Cuz this will happen" and "Love Only Me because I'm The only true God" But the bible is different, Once you read it expounds itself, and the Spirit helps us understand something we need to know at that time, while also explaining someone for the future times, and also explaining something totally different for someone else in the same chapter, So to say were compiling things together isn't fair to the bible.

If you want us to stop using scripture to explain something then debate with Paul, but how is most of our scriptures contradictory as you state? Just explain I want to know, because I don't see your point.

James 2: 14What doth it profit, my brethren, though a man say he hath faith, and have not works? can faith save him? 15If a brother or sister be naked, and destitute of daily food, 16And one of you say unto them, Depart in peace, be ye warmed and filled; notwithstanding ye give them not those things which are needful to the body; what doth it profit? 17Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.18Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works. 19Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble. 20But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead? 21Was not Abraham our father justified by works, when he had offered Isaac his son upon the altar? 22Seest thou how faith wrought with his works, and by works was faith made perfect? 23And the scripture was fulfilled which saith, Abraham believed God, and it was imputed unto him for righteousness: and he was called the Friend of God. 24Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only. 25Likewise also was not Rahab the harlot justified by works, when she had received the messengers, and had sent them out another way? 26For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.

To obey God and to love him Go hand and hand, How can you separate obeying God, and keeping his commands from Faith and Believeth?

1 John 2:3And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments. 4He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. 5But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him. 6He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked.

10Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works. 11Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works' sake. 12Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. 13And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.

Jesus Promises the Holy Spirit
15If ye love me, keep my commandments.
16And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; 17Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.
18I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you. 19Yet a little while, and the world seeth me no more; but ye see me: because I live, ye shall live also. 20At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you. 21He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him. 22Judas saith unto him, not Iscariot, Lord, how is it that thou wilt manifest thyself unto us, and not unto the world? 23Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him. 24He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father's which sent me.
25These things have I spoken unto you, being yet present with you. 26But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

PS,
re: "This is why I and millions of others remember and celebrate Christ's death and resurrection on Sunday."

Just it's understood that while the remembrance of the Messiah's death is scriptural, nothing is said with regard to the observance of His resurrection.
We remember the Lords death and resurrection that culminated in his victory over sin on the first day of the week, the same as the early Christians.

And when the hour was come, he sat down, and the twelve apostles with him. And he said unto them, With desire I have desired to eat this passover with you before I suffer: For I say unto you, I will not any more eat thereof, until it be fulfilled in the kingdom of God. And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and said, Take this, and divide it among yourselves: For I say unto you, I will not drink of the fruit of the vine, until the kingdom of God shall come. And he took bread, and gave thanks, and brake it, and gave unto them, saying, This is my body which is given for you: this do in remembrance of me. Likewise also the cup after supper, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood, which is shed for you.
(Luk 22:14-20 KJV)

where in the actual letter that was drafted and sent to the gentiles was the command to attend synagogues? or, like a lot of your garbage teaching, you just assume it is there, when there is no actual text to support your assumption.
Tell them the truth and don't back down!

What does the the truth mean to you? If someone says they BELIEVE but do not FOLLOW God's Word are they backing down?

Truth is what Jesus and his Apostles taught. It is something new from the Mosaic Law. You Legalist (Pharisees) are trying to put us back under that system when NO man has been able to live by it. Only Jesus fulfilled the Mosaic Law. The Mosaic Law is Death to the rest of us if we rely on it. God would have Mercy not Sacrifice.
When you understand this truth and put your entire faith in Jesus then you will see.

These legalists play the same game in salvation as every other false movement of Christendom. They profess to teach that salvation is by grace through faith, but then redefine this in a way that is contrary to the Gospel truth. Even though they deny this, they teach that salvation is by "grace plus law, faith plus works." Their doctrine of salvation is a subtle mixture of law and grace that is a perversion of the Gospel (Galatians 1:6-9). :(

What is the other Gospel?

It is a Gospel that tries to separate God's Law (10 commandments) from the Cross. The counterfeit Gospel is out there. It is a Gospel that tries to separate God's 10 commandments from the plan of salvation.

God’s Law has always been part of the true Gospel of Christ. The counterfeit Gospel does not have it. God's forever Law (the 10 commandments) is the foundation of both the Old and the New Covenant and the very foundation and basis of the true Gospel of Christ.

following God's word does not lead one to a place of Sabbath keeping for salvation. following ellen white's doctrine will lead one to hell, counting on keeping a day instead of faith and trust in a living Savior.

The post above is a good example of those that have no scripture to share from God's Word. It is on the Word of God we stand or fall. Seems you have run out of scripture so you have already fallen.

How can you know the Gospel if you do not know the Word? Only God's Word is true and we should BELIEVE and FOLLOW IT. UNBELIEVERS have no part in God's KINGDOM.

...................

In times of ignorance God winks at but now ,<when a KNOWLEDGE of the truth has come> calls all men everywhere to REPENT (FOLLOW) (Acts 17:30-31).

There is not one scripture in all of God's Word that says that God's 4th Commandment is now ABOLISHED and we are now commanded to KEEP Sunday as a Holy day.

God's 4th commandment is one of the ten (Exodus 20:8-11) If we knowingly break it when God asks us not to we stand guilty before God of committing sin (James 2:8-12). If we do not seek him in repentance and forgiveness we are in danger of the Judgement (Hebrews 10:26-27)

Sunday worship is a tradition and teaching of man that has lead many to break the commandments of God. Jesus says that if we follow the traditions of man that break the commandments of God we are not following God (Matthew 15:3-9)

Who should we follow the teachings and traditions of men or the Word of God? Who should we believe the Words of men or the Word of God?

May God bless you as you seek him through His Word.

But Paul only says in 1 Corinthians 11:26; "For as often as you eat this bread and drink the cup, you proclaim the Lord's death until he comes." Nothing is said about proclaiming the Lord's resurrection. And in fact nothing is said about proclaiming anything on the first day of the week.

here is Scripture- Acts 15- letter to the gentiles- Sabbath keeping - not mentioned. fruits of the Sprit- Sabbath keeping not listed- Sermon on the Mount- keeping the Sabbath not mentioned- Romans 1- Paul talks about sinful behaviors- not keeping the Sabbath not mentioned.

whole lot of instructional Scripture in the N.T., above is a small sample, with no Shabbat mentioned.

Amen brother! Sadly, these legalists/misguided teachers of the law are still stuck under the law and have not made the transition to the New Covenant (2 Corinthians 3:6-9; 1 Corinthians 15:1-4; Romans 1:16; Ephesians 3:1-12; Colossians 2:16-17).

So according to you no one was saved in the Old Covenant?

Why was the Old Covenant given if no one is saved from it and everyone before Christ is lost?

No One was saved by the Old Covenant as you understand it because you forget there was more than just one given. The Adamic Covenant is the one that saved people in the Old Testament. They had to have FAITH in God that he was going to SEND the Messiah in the Future as we have to Have Faith That Jesus is that Messiah.

One of the Last things Jesus Said is that he makes all things NEW. You are in the age of Grace, not the age of Law.
Look at what Jesus told the Samaritan woman at the Well. He told her that they would no longer worship at the synagogues but in the spirit. He has done away with Judaism.

If you do not KNOW God's Word how can you know what God's truth is?

Look forward to you sharing the scriptures with us.

One of the last things Jesus said before he died on the Cross is that he makes ALL things New. You don't live in the age of the Mosaic Law anymore, you live in the age of Grace.
