You lose the confirmation of his felt presence in salvation when you are a hypocrite. It's obvious that you lose the confirmation of salvation through your works when you are a hypocrite because you don't have any works. But you also lose the confirmation of the felt presence of the Spirit when you are a hypocrite.
Hypocrites can't know if they are saved or not. They have neither the felt presence of the Spirit or their works to testify that they are saved. Yet they claim they are saved because they insist one cannot lose their salvation. But since they are a hypocrite they can't even know for sure if they are even saved in the first place for their once saved always saved argument to even apply to them. Their hypocrisy robs them of both the witness of the Spirit and the witness of a changed life. And yet they will fight you vigorously and insist they are saved even though there is no visible or felt evidence that they are. This is the new grace doctrine destroying the church.

There is NO such Thing as a Christian that does not have the GOD's Love in your HEART. That comes with the Holy Spirit. Those who left, only proved they did not have GOD's Love in their heart in the first place; therefore they did not have the Holy Spirit either.
Do I believe in Prodigals? YES, but they always come back, where the one without the Spirit of GOD and GOD's Love in them, NEVER COME BACK.
This is about natural man isnt it pin? It's says David had to subdue his people under him. That's control of law. Just like the laws of our country. The spiritual man is of God. You lose that witness when you are a hypocrite.
Hypocrites have no confirmation of their salvation. Whether they never had salvation to begin with or lost it, doesn't matter. They have nothing to confirm they have a relationship with God. In the end, hypocrites go to the lake of fire.
"42“Therefore keep watch, because you do not know on what day your Lord will come.43But understand this: If the owner of the house had known at what time of night the thief was coming, he would have kept watch and would not have let his house be broken into.44So you also must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect him.
45“Who then is the faithful and wise servant, whom the master has put in charge of the servants in his household to give them their food at the proper time?46It will be good for that servant whose master finds him doing so when he returns.47Truly I tell you, he will put him in charge of all his possessions.48But suppose that servant is wicked and says to himself, ‘My master is staying away a long time,’49and he then begins to beat his fellow servants and to eat and drink with drunkards.50The master of that servant will come on a day when he does not expect him and at an hour he is not aware of.51He will cut him to pieces and assign him a place with the hypocrites, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth."-Matthew 24:42-51

The person who claims he knows God but has no life to validate his claim.
Hypocrites will go into the flames at Jesus' return. No doctrine of 'no works necessary' will save him in that day. That's not a works gospel. Works are necessary as the evidence of the change of life a person gets through faith in Christ. No change of life shows you don't have that new life by faith in Christ, or that you lost it.

You dont understand the tripartite man. Is that the right word? I would use the word triune but I've seen others use this other word.
Spirit, soul, and body. We are perfect in Spirit, but soul, our mind, our will, our emotions need to be "saved". This is how we connected to our world, and to others before our salvation experience.
Our motives are constantly exposed by the searchlight of Holy Spirit within us. Is why Paul said in one place, he didn't judge himself.

i believe it also has to do with our environment and who we surround ourselves with.
I know there are times we are to visit the prisoners, but if the prisoner wishes to stay. We are not obligated to stay with them.
There are many examples of many kings who were surrounded by the wicked counsel of men perverted by covetousness.
